"It’s okay, Mr. Gabe," Alex said finally, voice softer now. "It happens like that sotis." He reached for the tissue box and handed him one. Gabe took it imdiately, blowing his nose loudly....so loud that Alex had to resist the urge to wince in irritation.
"You shouldn’t let anyone make you feel useless," Alex continued, leaning back in his chair. "Not even your own husband."
Gabe looked up, eyes glassy but defiant.
"If you haven’t been able to speak with your husband because he always brushes you off..." Alex hesitated for a mont before continuing, "...how about I send an invitation to him? I should discuss with both of you together. Maybe he’ll finally be able to turn a new leaf....love you the way you deserve to be loved."
"I wish that could happen," Gabe said, his voice steady now but still heavy with emotion. "But like I told you... my husband always brushes off whenever I try to talk. There’s no fucking way he’ll honor your invitation just because you asked him."
The ’my husband shit ’ is annoying for real. I just need him out of here now. Alex thought inwardly with slight anger on his face.
He then chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Funny how we’ve already moved to the stage where both couples have to be present for therapy," he murmured. "But trust ....he’ll show up if I send him an invitation. They always do. I... have my ways."
Gabe’s lips curved into a faint, almost teasing smile. "Rather than that," he said slowly, "why don’t you just teach ways to win my husband back?"
Alex froze, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Teach you?" he repeated.
"Yes," Gabe said, his tone taking on a deliberate slur of seduction. "I don’t even want him to know I’m seeing a therapist. Since you’ve already identified the exact problem in my marriage.... not being able to satisfy him in bed....why don’t you help fix that exact problem, Mr. Alex?"
He leaned forward, his gaze fixed intensely on Alex. "Our therapy sessions are confidential anyway," he added, voice dropping to a low, sultry note. "Whatever happens in this room dies in this room."
Alex’s throat went dry. His mind scread danger, but his body didn’t seem to get the ssage. His eyes drifted to Gabe’s lips....soft, full, and glistening under the fluorescent light.
"I don’t understand you, Mr. Gabe," Alex managed to say, his voice tight and uneven. He wiped the sweat forming along his hairline despite the cool air from the AC. "How am I supposed to assist you?"
"Teach sex positions," Gabe replied, voice soft but deliberate.
Alex blinked, completely thrown.
"You know all the techniques anyway," Gabe continued, his tone thick with temptation. "Teach the ones that will make win my husband back." His fingers toyed with the edge of his shirt, brushing against his thigh slowly. "Besides... the doctor once said that intimacy between my husband and I could help heal my legs."
He chuckled bitterly. "But my husband doesn’t believe that. Instead, he gets angry....angry that I keep chasing him for sex when he thinks I can’t even satisfy him."
His gaze locked with Alex’s, daring and wounded all at once. "So tell , Mr. Alex," Gabe whispered, "will you help ?"
"Of course, there are several sex positions we recomnd to married couples," Alex began, his voice tight but steady. "But then..." He paused, taking a sharp breath, trying to compose himself. "...your husband isn’t here, Mr. Gabe. The kind of session we’re heading towards requires his presence because, apart from simply hearing about the positions, both of you might need to practice so of them before ....under my supervision."
Alex swallowed hard, his throat feeling dry. He rose from the sofa abruptly, keeping a throw pillow pressed tightly against his lap. The faint rip of fabric echoed through the silent room as he moved. He froze for a split second, mortified, realizing his trousers might have actually torn...his arousal pushing against the seams.
"Since we’re done for today..." he began quickly, clearing his throat, "...you should leave, Mr. Gabe. When next you’re coming, just make sure you bring your husband along. And if you still can’t persuade him to co, then let know." He forced a weak chuckle. "I’ll use my... secret formula to make him show up."
He tried to stride past Gabe, keeping the pillow in place as if his life depended on it. But before he could reach the door, a firm hand gripped his wrist.
"But I’m not done with this session yet, Mr. Alex."
Gabe’s voice was calm but firm....almost commanding. His gaze, steady and unflinching, t Alex’s in a way that made the air grow heavier between them. "I don’t mind paying for the extra ti," he continued. "I don’t feel better yet with this therapy of yours."
Alex’s heartbeat thundered in his ears. I don’t feel better either, you shithead! he scread internally. His jaw tightened as he struggled to keep his composure. You’re not even releasing pheromones, yet I can still rember the scent from last night and it’s affecting so badly I could lose consciousness. A whole Enigma like , getting this hard... all because of one damn oga!
He clenched his teeth, trying to fight the painful ache building between his legs. I just hope Damien’s able to co up with that drug soon.....the one that’ll suppress this reaction so I won’t have to suffer like this every damn ti I see you. I have to believe in him... or my dick might actually explode.
Fuck, it’s sore. It hurts terribly.
He exhaled sharply, forcing himself to sound composed even as his body betrayed him. "If you don’t feel better, then maybe you can co back tomorrow," Alex said, his voice shaking ever so slightly. "I don’t feel good today, Mr. Gabe, so please... kindly leave."
He turned away, desperate to get out of the room before he embarrassed himself further. But just as he took a step, Gabe’s hand shot out again....this ti grabbing him harder. The force pulled Alex off balance, sending him tumbling backward.
Before he could react, he hit the floor with a heavy thud and Gabe landed right on top of him.
