Are you all right, Mr. Alex?" Gabe asked, brows furrowed in what looked like genuine concern. "Should I call the ergency line?"

Alex swallowed hard before shaking his head. "I’m fine, Mr. Gabe," he said, forcing out a small, composed laugh. "I just... burned my tongue on the tea. Let’s continue, shall we?"

Gabe nodded slowly and exhaled. "I got crippled because of that scumbag," he began, his voice trembling slightly not from weakness, but anger barely contained. "And yet, he still had the audacity to start screwing his secretary. Now, he treats like garbage. Like I don’t matter anymore."

He paused for a mont, his eyes flickering with sothing that looked almost like pain. "But I’m not angry at him," he continued quietly. "I believe things can still work out between us."

Alex’s jaw tightened, the words grating against his nerves. Oh really? he thought bitterly, his mind swirling with cynicism. I was right afterall. This is exactly why I hate ogas. Why are they always so pathetically hopeful? Is there not even one among them who’s different? Soone strong, soone bold.....soone who isn’t just a lovesick fool clinging to scraps?

"You believe things can still work out between you two?" Alex asked aloud, his voice low and steady, though the faintest trace of derision lingered beneath. "Well... maybe you’re right. We can only find out after the end of these sessions."

He took another careful sip of tea. "Tell then, how did you get crippled because of him?"

Gabe’s eyes darkened, mories flickering behind them. He leaned back in his chair and let out a humorless laugh.

I’m such a fool, he thought bitterly. Setting my eyes on Sabe for years, paralyzing myself for ten damn years, one of my plans just to win his sympathy. I knew falling for an Alpha would destroy , but still I let it happen because I love him.

He exhaled shakily before speaking. "I was involved in an accident," he said finally. "An accident that could have claid his life but it claid my legs instead." His voice softened, his next words trembling between bitterness and longing. "I need my husband back, Mr. Alex. I want to feel love again. I want to feel his... touch again....to have him inside like before."

The words hit Alex like a punch to the gut. His throat tightened, his breath shallow.

Must he always be this damn blunt? he thought, his heart thudding faster. His hand pressed firr against the pillow on his lap, hiding the bulge that strained insistently against his trousers.

anwhile, Gabe watched him closely, his lips curving into a small, unreadable smile.

It’s not like that bastard Sabe ever gave proper sex anyway, he mused silently. He was too busy fucking his oga secretary all while he was also getting fucked by .

Alex inhaled slowly through his nose, forcing his expression to remain professional, but every muscle in his body was tense.

"You really think the reason your husband changed toward you is only because of the sex?" Alex raised an eyebrow, swallowing hard as he watched Gabe. His voice was calm, clinical even, but there was an edge to it....curiosity mixed with sothing darker. "You’re really not thinking that’s the way you’re going to win him back also? Like through getting perfect with sex?"

"Yes, Mr. Alex." Gabe’s answer was steady, unwavering. He leaned forward a fraction, eyes locked on Alex’s face. "There’s no other way. Instead of talking ourselves in circles, we should move to the stage that matters.....the sexual one. That’s how I’ll win my husband back and save my marriage." His tone left no room for joking; it was all seriousness and determination.

Alex closed his eyes for a heartbeat, then let out a long, incredulous sigh. Damn. He really can’t be saved, he thought, the contempt bitter on the back of his tongue. But another thought followed....less charitable and far more dangerous. I have no choice but to save this fool.

He opened his eyes and fixed Gabe with a cool, asured look. "You’re telling bluntly that sex is the answer?" Alex repeated, sounding almost bored. "That you expect to fix years of hurt and betrayal by....what....returning to the bed and performing for him?"

Gabe didn’t flinch. "Yes," he said again, softer this ti. "Sex is the language he understands. If I can make him crave again....if I can give him what he wants....he’ll rember . He’ll choose ."

Damn! He’s such a fool but then rather than helping you get back that motherfucker you call a husband, Ill rather ruin the marriage completely you fool. Alex thought to himself with a determined expression. You made this way.... reacting to your pheromones, your presence then you’ll have to pay for it. I’ll be the one to fuck you and not that husband of yours.

Now what the actual fuck?!

Damn it! I can’t allow what Damien said to get into my head!

Alex scread inwardly the mont he realized the absurdity of his own thoughts. I’m a therapist. A professional one, for goodness sake. A line should never be crossed between a therapist and his client.

He let out a slow breath, trying to steady his pulse. I’m not professional though... not really, he admitted inwardly with a frustrated sigh. But then... fuck! CONCENTRATE, Alex!

Alex swallowed hard, his throat tightening. "Have you tried talking to your husband then, Mr. Gabe?" he asked, raising a brow to mask his unease. "Did you both communicate properly? Because trust ... without proper communication since communication is one of the pillars that keeps a marriage alive....most marriages crumble."

Gabe’s lips trembled slightly as he nodded, his gaze falling to his lap. "I tried," he said softly, his voice carrying a broken edge. "But he always brushes off."

His words faltered, and the fake tears he’d been holding back finally welled in his eyes. "It’s because of my useless legs," he whispered, voice cracking. "I made Sabe disgusted in . I can’t do anything to satisfy him because of this... useless leg."

Alex clenched his fists under the table, his jaw tightening. Damn it. If he wasn’t my client and if I weren’t trying to avoid a prison sentence....I swear I’d have hit his head against this damn glass table. Hell, I wouldn’t even have t him because I’d already be behind bars for killing other ogas.

This is what I have to go through, he thought bitterly, forcing a calm expression. All in the na of looking for that particular Alpha....the one with that scent years ago. That scent that refuses to leave my head. That motherfucker I can’t wait to kill. He’s the reason why I ca to this country, beca a therapist to ogas since they’re all easy and simple to get with the hope that during every session with , their husband will definitely show up but here we are....still no progress.
