"Doing it this way will work." Morgan shouted loudly at the Snake-n: "Snake brats, taste the Dwarves' urine!"

Of course, under the intense heat wave of the bomb's explosion, Morgan's "special additional weapon" didn't have much real effect. However, watching the flas spread along the trenches on the ground, igniting the Snake-n hiding inside and causing them to scatter like frightened rats fleeing a sewer, was indeed a delightful sight.

Morgan patted the Dwarf comrade who had just attempted to stop him, explaining, "I know Zilvra has a plan for all the bombs, none of which can be wasted. But this one was never part of her calculations—I secretly hid it a long ti ago. Hahaha!"

Having learned the harsh lesson from the leveling of their camp by bombs, the Snake-n were well-prepared this ti to prevent a repeat of such scenes. Near the explosion points, the Snake-n erected fireproof steel plates engraved with runes or covered the space above the trenches. The scattered flas couldn't reach the soldiers hiding behind these covers, so the damage effect wasn't very significant.

The All-Knowing Tower wobbled back to its original position, while the Rock Spirits continually pulled grappling spears from it. Each ti they pulled out a spike, a whole bunch of Fire Lizards would fall from the sky, accompanied by the invigorating shouts of the defending army, splatting heavily into lizard-skin rugs.

Without the All-Knowing Tower hovering overhead, the Snake-n imdiately launched an attack. Accompanied by the earth-shaking drumbeats, the Snake-n's bodies writhed and swam toward the city walls. Although there were thousands of soldiers charging, not a single footstep could be heard, creating an eerie sensation that unsettled the defending soldiers.

"Catapult! Attack!" Although Wislin was not commanding within the fortress at this ti, he had already trained enough and capable deputies, so the defense system was not affected at all.

In fact, when two armies clash, the most nerve-wracking mont isn't during the bloody and dangerous combat, but the waiting before drawing swords and plunging into battle. So when the Five Realms Fortress's catapults began hurling massive rocks toward the enemy, the guards actually breathed a huge sigh of relief, their gaze becoming focused and resolute, standing tall and proud in the face of the enemy army.

It was like a paddle striking fiercely against raging waves, seeming as though each clash could shatter them, but the waves kept coming endlessly. The Snake-n stepped over their fallen comrades' bodies, their unique physique rendering all ground obstacles insignificant, with almost no change in their advancing speed.

The Snake-n drew closer, so close they could hear the constant cursing and swearing from the city walls. Of course, Wislin's knights would not engage in such acts, but the rcenary groups and the ferocious Dwarf armies in those areas were not bound by any "knight spirit," and they greeted their opponents with the worst language they could muster.

The Snake-n lifted their heads and returned the provocation with their language, one originating from the Southern Swamp, almost unknown to anyone. Although the venomous vocabulary in it could even make the tongue-lashing Beastn pale, no human could understand it.

At least in this regard, the Five Realms Fortress won the first round.

But this wasn't the fortress's only ability. Having learned from last ti's siege by the Snake-n army, the fortress soldiers had long built nurous traps outside the city walls. So were so light that even a snake slithering upon them would fall into a pit filled with sulfur and kerosene; others were heavy and required control from inside the city walls to activate, ant to deal with giant siege hamrs like those from last ti.

The Snake-n plumted into the traps, unable to climb out due to being soaked in kerosene. With an order from inside, ignition arrows rained down on the Snake-n's formation like a storm, the red raindrops forming an impenetrable cloud, covering the entire sky. The endless "whoosh" could be heard, and the open ground in front of the city walls sprouted a grassy field of arrows.

Sulfur and kerosene ignited, causing explosions in the pits. Flas surged up from underground in clusters, with countless fragnts and shattered Snake-n limbs flying chaotically in the air. Even the sturdy Five Realms Fortress walls quivered slightly, as if the ground beneath them was about to be completely upheaved.
