The Elental System of the All-Knowing Tower ensures that the environnt here remains mild and tranquil, unless it's in a scorching world like Bator Hell; otherwise, it will always be springti in the city. This system not only includes the moist air and warm breeze, but it also adds a tint of vibrant color to the pale sun outside.

As Deluo walked down the long corridor laid with fine carpets, he felt the sunlight streaming through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, gently brushing his face along with the chirping of green birds. He felt as if he had entered another world, as the coldness and loneliness of the journey faded away with the soft rustling under his feet.

This is definitely a place that makes one forget their pain. People living atop the All-Knowing Tower are brimming with energy, never disturbed by hunger or plague. The faint fragrance of flowers in the air made Deluo feel his body expand infinitely, with every inch of his skin and every pore relaxing completely.

"Lynch, the place you live is truly wonderful." Deluo found himself yawning, as a lazy sleepiness washed over him. "Are there any vacant rooms? I suppose you won't charge rent."

Lynch smiled gently and replied, "Feel free to bring your entire family here, as I originally planned—when I reach Haisas, I'll bring all my family and friends to the tower. It's much safer up here than below."

"That would be great, but do you have enough food here?" Deluo looked out the window, noticing that the open spaces were filled with flowers and trees instead of crops. While the vibrant plants might nourish the residents' eyes, as soone who has often faced food and water shortages, Deluo would prefer the golden wheat and plump corn.

"Don't worry about that, the tower has its own thods." Lynch said, "I didn't realize it at first either, until many from the Mage Association moved here, and those veterans gradually uncovered the tower's magical aspects. It's not just food; air, water, and heating all circulate through the power of elents. The tower itself can form an independent world."

"It's truly amazing." Deluo said excitedly, like a child, wanting to touch and feel everything around him before he could be at ease.

"The mages have moved many of the conveniences of the Great Magic Tower here, but this comfort makes even more worried." Lynch rubbed his eyes, showing a weary expression like an ordinary person. "I constantly receive information from outside here, like a spider sensing the thread's vibrations while sitting in a web's center. There's famine across the continent, with dying hungry people everywhere; the mines below can't yield enough ore, and many new soldiers are equipping themselves with wood and vines; over the western seas, dry hot winds are unexpectedly blowing in winter, making the sticky and rotten air unbearable for sailors; and in the sky, there are chiras and great rocs roaming everywhere. Honestly, the whole world is in chaos, and there's nothing that can put at ease."

Deluo nodded and sighed lightly. The mage spoke of things he already knew and had even experienced personally, as well as things he had never heard of. Lynch only showed his "ordinary" young human side, displaying fatigue, repression, or disappointnt, when he was among friends. Even after becoming the head of the Mage Association, wielding unimaginable power, Lynch was still but a mortal being.

"Lynch, you don't need to demand so much of yourself," Deluo said. "You must understand that this world has its own strength, and the progress of history has its own montum. There is always hope."

Lynch nodded chanically and then glanced around. Apart from him and Deluo, there was no one else in the corridor, it was so quiet that you could hear the whispers between the breeze and the trees. The mage approached Deluo, lowered his voice, and said, "Deluo, you just ntioned you once fought the snake-n in the north of Haisas, and those Pate Knights have beco foolish and useless, is that true?"

"Except for Wislin of the Five Realms Fortress, all the other Paladins have beco the sa," Deluo said with so resentnt, his voice brisk: "They simply can't resist the snake-n's attacks, and the only reason the cities in the north haven't fallen is that their walls are thick enough. In Haisas, I can't rely on those holy Pate guys to provide any aningful help!"
