The trial itself is extrely dangerous, and any mont of negligence could claim the life of the challenger. As Lynch entered the highest level of the tower, a golden magic fla was burning at the top of the tower. As long as the challenger is still alive, this fla will not extinguish.
A day later, if the fla hasn't gone out, all the great mages will receive a ssage to gather at the Great Magic Tower. They know that soone is challenging the leadership position of the association. Continuous mage duels will comnce as soon as that person steps out of the Tower of Trial.
Although the real great mage assembly will only begin tomorrow, Caso was not willing to waste a mont of ti away from where he couldn't see the Tower of Trial. He stood at the window, his eyes fixed on the golden fla, motionless. Whenever the cold wind blew, causing the magic fla to flicker, Caso always had the illusion that the fla would go out. He repeatedly admonished himself to not be troubled by illusory thoughts, yet the power generated by kinship was sothing even a great mage could not resist.
Unknowingly, two days passed just like that, and Caso was completely unaware. His mind was still at the mont Lynch entered the high tower, at the instant his red robe disappeared through the door of the highest level. Around him, three other great mages had already arrived and were discussing the situation.
Since Caso did not respond to their inquiries, the great mages could not determine who had entered the Tower of Trial. Only the apprentice Sos told them that the Mage Association recently had only one visitor, Lynch, allowing the great mages to understand the current situation. Although the Mage Association had been searching for this young apprentice, they knew it was rely to offer an explanation to the Dark Elf and a certain great mage. Except for the grievances between Kuziman and Lynch, the other mages did not believe Lynch would disclose mage secrets to the Dark Elf. However, compared to being constantly pestered by a great mage, it was better to hunt Lynch, allowing them a quiet environnt to conduct spell research.
But the current circumstances were beyond their expectations. This young man nad Lynch seed to have abilities beyond their grasp. There had been powerful mages who had entered the highest level of the Tower of Trial, but aside from five people, none could endure the first day. When those five left the tower on the second day, they were covered in wounds and had abandoned their requests to challenge the highest position in the Mage Association.
Those individuals never ntioned the attacks they faced inside the tower, but their expressions suggested "leaving" was more accurately described as "fleeing as quickly as possible."
However, Lynch showed no intention of quickly leaving the tower and persevered inside—at least this was what the great mages thought. By the seventh day, all the great mages had gathered, their initial lively conversations having turned into intense tactical discussions. If a mage could endure for seven days within the Tower of Trial, his strength was beyond everyone's imagination.
Great Prophet Caso's body wavered, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. Looking out from the window, the golden light atop the Tower of Trial had vanished, and Lynch was walking out from the door of the highest level.
It seed that the young mage had not been hard; his appearance was not much different from when he first entered. Except for so bloodshot eyes and chapped lips, he had no wounds at all. Although he did not know how his apprentice achieved such a feat, Caso believed Lynch already possessed enough strength to challenge any mage.
Seeing his ntor standing by the window, knowing that he had been waiting the entire ti, Lynch felt sowhat guilty. It was because he believed in his spell abilities but wanted to gain more combat experience, so he deliberately stayed in the tower for several extra days. During this ti, Caso had been standing at that window.
Lynch stepped forward lightly, stepping through the air from the Tower of Trial towards Caso's balcony, entering the gathering room. Under the gaze of all the great mages, he first bowed slightly to his ntor, then fixed his gaze on a figure he was very familiar with.
A resolute and unquestionable voice echoed in the room of the Great Magic Tower, "Kuziman, do you have any objections to becoming the leader of the Great Mages?"
