"Strange, where is it automatically pointing to?" Lynch connected his consciousness with the entire Transmission Device, trying to figure out where it was leading to. However, the opening of the space channel was already uncontrollable, as a black shadow beca increasingly distinct.

"This thing is still connected to the place where it was opened last ti!" Lynch suddenly realized. Because the Transmission Device's work last ti was forcibly interrupted and not slowly shut down as per the usual procedure, it would revert to the final status of the last operation.

All the Magic Arrays automatically began to operate, a brilliant flash of light appeared, and more than ten layers of Protective Fields tightly wrapped around the Dwarf Square. Lynch finally saw what was on the other side of the Teleportation Gate—a Black Dragon!

This fierce beast had not left after being injured and had been sleeping in place. Perhaps out of stupidity or because he didn't feel that a few years of waiting posed any loss to him, the Black Dragon stubbornly remained and finally awaited the mont when the Teleportation Gate reopened.

Before Lynch had a chance to close the Transmission Device, the Black Dragon stepped through the space channel and suddenly appeared in the square of the Dwarf City. However, this ti, it was not as majestic as last ti; the powerful Protection Magic imdiately targeted it.

The imnse gravity, oppressive spell atmosphere, weakened muscle strength, and the hazy mist in front of its eyes made the Black Dragon extrely uncomfortable. It knew it had undoubtedly fallen into a trap, a place where it was utterly unable to perform, but it was too late to retreat.

Lynch had just managed to close the Transmission Device, and the space channel flickered a few tis and then vanished.

The Black Dragon was profoundly uncomfortable under the suppression of the barrier here, lifting its upper body, straining the muscles on its back to extend its enormous wings, attempting to escape this oppressive environnt. A roar burst from its throat pointed skyward, with the massive sonic wave spreading outward like a furious wind from the center of the Magic Array, knocking everyone around off balance.

Lynch supported himself with the Magic Wand, involuntarily marveling at the giant dragon's power. Under such a multitude of magic protections, the dragon's strength, speed, and most of its characteristic abilities would be affected, yet it could still stand tall! That was five tis normal gravity, even towering trees would collapse and shatter within that Magic Field. Although the Black Dragon couldn't fly, or even move a step away from that Magic Array, its might had already emanated with its arrogant movents.

And that was without being able to unleash its Dragon Might.

"Mage! Pathetic creatures, who dares to display such a trick before ?" The dragon's voice carried anger, yet it possessed undeniable power. That strong confidence even montarily deluded Lynch—the Magic Arrays were rely toys, things utterly vulnerable.

The dwarfs either knelt or lay prone, all fell to the ground. They looked at the creature brought forth by the mage, utterly at a loss. None of the Dwarf Guards summoned by Landa could even hold their weapons, apart from their constantly chattering teeth fighting a losing battle, they couldn't even manage to close their eyes to avoid looking at the massive Black Dragon.

If the Dragon Might could be unleashed, they probably would have pointed their weapons at their own throats long ago, escaping this overwhelming pressure with death.

"Black Dragon, look at !" Lynch's voice echoed like a bell in a hurricane, even chaotic noise couldn't interfere with this clear, resonant tone. He glanced at his companions and noticed they were the only remaining ones not cowed by the Black Dragon. "In my Magic Array, what right do you have to challenge?"

The Black Dragon squinted its red eyes, lowered its head, assuming a look as if it had only just noticed the mage. All Dragon Clan mbers could understand everything happening around their bodies through air or ground vibrations, it was impossible for it not to know of Lynch's presence. The Black Dragon made this expression rely to convey its disdain for the mage.

"Is it you, human?" The Black Dragon's sharp laughter rang out: "Before I've even figured out how to tornt your frail bodies, you still have ti to flee. Aren't all you mages quick to run but slow to charge?"

"That's your idea, Black Dragon." Lynch laughed heartily, simultaneously using spiritual power to pull the three ladies back, allowing them to get further away. One Magic Barrier had already begun to collapse, unable to resist the Black Dragon's Spell Resistance, it was about to fail.
