"It really slls delicious! What kind of at is being roasted? Can I have a taste too?" A girl’s voice beca increasingly clear from behind Lynch and the others. It was a girl’s voice, using standard Underground Common Language, with clear articulation and very proper. However, Lynch noticed that at the end of the sentence, the pronunciation carried a hint of the lilting accent of Dark Elf Language.

Suddenly turning around, the three of them assud defensive postures as a cloaked girl erged from behind a stone pillar. She wore no ornants, with only a wristband tied to her small wrist peeking out from under her wide sleeves. She removed the hat covering her head, revealing curly silver hair that hung down, bouncing lightly on her shoulders. Lynch’s first reaction was that seeing silver-haired humanoid creatures underground was usually a sign of evil Dark Elves. But upon examining the girl in front of him, she surprisingly had white skin. To confirm her identity, Lynch used the Eye of Insight, and instantly his entire eye socket was filled with a profound darkness.

With his supernatural vision, Lynch discovered that the girl’s pale complexion was not the result of an Illusion Technique, nor was there any disguise ointnt applied. It should be said that her complexion, like her entire skin, was naturally white. The only difference was that, apart from her face, the skin on other parts slightly exuded a faint bluish tint, rather than being as pale as her face.

The girl looked at the Mage in front of her and realized that this guy was scrutinizing her up and down. She suddenly had the feeling of being completely seen through (which was indeed the case). She pointed at the Mage: "Ah! Why are you staring at ? I just want to ask if you can let have so food; I’m really hungry."

Seeing the girl frowning, the Mage moved aside: "Please, join us."

"Great! It’s been days since I’ve had anything to eat." The girl’s expression suddenly beca very happy. She quickly passed by the Mage, leaving a fragrance of spices by Lynch’s side before unceremoniously sitting on the large stone Deluo had moved earlier, propping her chin in her hands, eagerly eyeing the roasted at.

Nimo glanced at Lynch, using his eyes to inquire whether the woman should be trusted. Lynch frowned, never expecting to encounter such a carefree adventurer in the Underworld. Wasn’t she afraid they might be so evil people? He originally intended to test if the girl would show any defensive reaction upon receiving the invitation to estimate her abilities. Yet, it’s those who completely go their own way that’s hardest to fathom.

Lynch nodded at Nimo, but his expression was very serious, his brows furrowed. The aning was: proceed with caution, observe closely.

Nimo turned and began to continue roasting the at slices with his dagger. However, the way he held the dagger now was no longer the two-finger grip used for cooking; it was exactly the sa as when in combat.

Upon first seeing the girl, Deluo’s mouth dropped wide open. In his realm, he had never seen a naturally silver-haired girl, with fair skin and crimson red lips; a petite nose constantly sniffing, trying hard to catch the aroma of the roasted at in the air, resulting in slight wrinkles on the skin of her nasal bridge as her nose twitched; her eyes squinting, yet Deluo could clearly see her blue-violet eyes; and long lashes fluttering with the blinking eyelids.

As the girl sat on the stone block beside him, Deluo couldn’t hold back any longer and half-knelt in front of her: "Miss, your presence is the only gleam of light I have seen in this Dark World; I’ve climbed countless high mountains and lofty peaks, yet I must sigh, you are nature’s most perfect creation; I’ve swum through countless rivers and lakes, yet they do not compare to the dazzling charm of your gaze; I’ve faced countless hardships, but I must say, entering your heart is the challenge I’ve yearned for my entire life. If you desire Ice Moon Grass from the Snow Ridge, I shall climb up to pick it for you; if you desire a Luminous Pearl from the depths of the sea, I shall dive in to retrieve it for you; if you desire to see the Dark World, I shall use these hands to dig through layers of rock and bring sunlight here." Then the warrior eagerly awaited the girl’s response.
