Lynch did not continue to inquire about other matters but instead turned around to find Soka, teaching her to learn politeness and humility, reminding her not to claim all these cookies for herself. However, the Angel seed to have no such intention, as when her hands were full, that already constituted the "maximum" state for her.

Lynch didn't need to accompany Main Priest Kuboert anymore; Soka got her beloved candies, Yilinrui wasn't "swept clean," and Kuboert t the Elf Queen, everything seed to be going smoothly.

However, Zilvra encountered trouble. In the past few days, there had been torrential rain around Fyyian's Undead Tower, with a water curtain like thick fog, obscuring all vision. The muddy road had turned into a hellish path, completely impassable. Only the Ghosts that could float still patrolled around the tower. Zilvra was unable to move and had to stay inside the tower.

However, the Drow woman had been observing Fyyian these days, trying to understand his temperant and way of thinking. Only by understanding the enemy can one find the key to victory. Except for sleep, Zilvra wandered around this tower, hoping to see the disfigured elf.

However, Fyyian rarely ca out. He always stayed in the room, guarded outside by strong Vampires. He only appeared politely when Zilvra was dining. Fyyian would only drink so pale yellow liquid and never ate anything. If she hadn't confird that the guy was still breathing and had body temperature, Zilvra would have classified him as an "Undead monster."

But after several days of observation, Zilvra found it increasingly hard to figure out the enemy before her. Unlike Lynch, Fyyian didn't seem like a Mage in any way. He never cast spells, nor showed the elegance of an Arcane Caster, and as for a Magic Book, he never kept one at hand. In this Undead Tower, Zilvra hadn't found those mysterious Magic Runes, nor had she ever discovered any wondrous Magic Barrier. The Undead Magic Bead originally had so spell protection abilities, but now they had disappeared without a trace.

"The power of the Undead Magic Bead requires corresponding arcane to inspire it." Matron Batana had once told Zilvra: "Before finding a mage for assistance, the Undead Magic Bead is difficult to manipulate, and that is a dangerous matter."

'Is it now in an unstable state?' Zilvra once again assessed the place. 'This is hard to explain. Without spellpower, the Undead Magic Bead wouldn't work at all. Could it be that Fyyian is hiding it too well?'

The sound of a door opening ca from downstairs, a string of footsteps traveled down the stairs past Zilvra's door, quickly extending downward. Zilvra was curious about who would co here in such a downpour. She stood up, intending to go out and investigate.

Peering outside, two shadows flashed by, startling Zilvra. She tiptoed over and placed her eyes on the gap of the bone-made door.

The entire tower, made of bone rather than wood, offered this convenience. Gaps remained everywhere, allowing one to peer out.

Four Vampires stood outside the door, silently standing there. Although they would not disturb Zilvra's rest, should the Drow woman wish to leave, the four Vampires would definitely obstruct her.

But this sort of "soft detainnt" further piqued Zilvra's interest in going out. Taking out the Invisibility Stone hanging around her neck, a simple "You can't see " completely hid the Drow woman's figure.

A ventilation window hung high at the top of the room, too small for many. But Zilvra was already adept in Stealth and assassination, using the Floating Technique to exit from there wasn't too difficult.

Silently arriving downstairs, Zilvra finally saw what was happening. Two Fishn were shaking off the mud from their feet, carelessly splattering the exquisite paintings nearby with the sludge. The heavy rain outside had washed away their peculiar fishy sll, making the skin covered with green seaweed appear much cleaner.

They conversed in a language Zilvra had never heard before, and Fyyian often paused as he spoke, seemingly considering which words to use next. That should evidently be the Fishman language. Zilvra had previously encountered Fishman tribes in the Underdark; those always filled with "stupid and cunning" slimy creatures were a lowly slave race. Dark Elves would never lower themselves to speak with them in their slave language; more often, they would let other slaves act as interdiaries for translation.
