"Wow! Lynch, you're finally out of your room! Co play with by the lake."

Lynch looked at Soka's hands, which had blisters in so places. These days, she had been diligently practicing archery with Yilinrui, constantly drawing the bow, aiming, and shooting every day, indeed quite exhausting. The mage was about to nod in agreent, just in ti to take a fishing rod and have so fun with Soka by the riverside, when Kuboert silently appeared beside the angel.

Looking at the cheerful little angel, Pate's priest was also hesitant in his heart. Is it really necessary to drag such an innocent and lively child into the heart of war? But the orders of the bishop were unquestionable, so he still spoke:

"Soka, little angel, would you like to go to Pate's temple and beco the Light Saintess?"

"Kuboert!" Lynch glared at the priest and shouted. The unprepared little Soka was startled, and Yilinrui, who heard the noise, also walked over quickly.

"Mr. Lynch," Kuboert said, "although you are now the guardian of this angel, she still possesses an indelible right: freedom of choice. I believe you won't stifle this freedom, will you? Besides, Soka is a Dawn Angel, originally a subordinate of Light God Pate. Becoming the Light Saintess is nothing inappropriate."

Upon hearing these words, Lynch did not engage in further verbal jousting with Priest Kuboert. He gently patted Soka's head and said, "Little one, this uncle wants you to beco the Light Saintess at the temple and undergo priest training. The price is that you will beco a person under the public eye, with nurous admirers and countless enemies eager to bring you down. Do you want that?"

Soka tilted her head, unable to grasp the aning of Lynch's words for a mont. She was more concerned about the ti to go play by the lake. On the contrary, Princess Yilinrui frowned deeply upon hearing the mage's words.

"What is a Light Saintess?" Soka finally found the key to the question and promptly asked Lynch.

"It's an honorary title," Kuboert chid in before the mage could speak: "It's a title that will make you proud for a lifeti."

"Well, in that case..."

"Soka!" Yilinrui suddenly interrupted, "In my room, I have lots of little cookies with your favorite honey flavor. Go and get them quickly. However many you find, that's how many I'll give to you!"

"Really?" Soka imdiately forgot what she was going to say, gave Yilinrui a quick peck, and then flew off, flapping her wings.

"She has already made her free choice," said Yilinrui, "If you dare to bind the angel with any saintess title again, I will not welco you, and Heather will not welco you."

Looking at Yilinrui, who was "dressed" scantily, Kuboert chose to lower his head. With Mage Lynch, the Main Priest could argue a bit, but he would not have a dispute with the elf before him.

"Yes, Mr. Kuboert," Lynch said after Soka had run off, "Compared to a choice that requires a price, free candy is more likely to capture Soka's heart. If I find you bringing up this matter again, I will forget your na. What I an is, you will no longer be a familiar friend to ."

"Does that an we can still be called friends?" Kuboert smiled, "I think that achievent is already quite satisfying."

"The Elf Queen is waiting for you, don't waste ti here with ," Lynch said.

Yilinrui and Lynch soon found the happy Soka, clutching a big pile of fragrant elf cookies, joyfully turning sorsaults. These magical sweet treats were very difficult to make, requiring even the most skilled elf chefs to take a long ti to bake so. Soka loved eating such sweet things; now, she was genuinely ecstatic.

"How do you have so many cookies?" Lynch looked at Yilinrui's cramped room, seeing through his Eye of Insight that it was no different from a cookie warehouse. Everywhere that could hold sothing was filled with little cookies.

"It's nothing, just accumulated over a long ti," Yilinrui sighed, "As a princess, I do have so special privileges."

However, Yilinrui's forlorn expression didn't escape the mage's eye. It seed like a heavy burden weighed down on the princess's head, pressing his features into weariness. This was the first ti Lynch used the Eye of Insight to observe Yilinrui; beneath her rosy facade, there seed to be another layer to her appearance.
