'Could it be guessed from her na?' Lynch thought to himself. "Zilvra" is indeed a na derived from the Dark Elf Language, but in the surface world, although it's uncommon, it's not non-existent. Moreover, using a na as a basis for suspicion isn't the typical nature of the Elf Clan—they always tend to judge things starting from a place of kindness.
If he denied the matter, Anna probably wouldn't pursue it further. Their shared adventurous life had long built trust in the mage within her companions. But how could Lynch deceive his friend?
"Yes, she is a Drow, to be precise, a half-Dark Elf," Lynch confird. "She cos from Ratris City."
Anna nodded, glanced around again, and spoke only after confirming no one was present: "Lynch, why are you with her? If soone finds out, it will be a very terrifying matter. Moreover, do you know about that woman's character, don't you realize you're surrounded by danger?"
"Danger?" Lynch shook his head, "I don't think there's any danger. In my view, Zilvra has a good soul." The mage thought for a mont and then said: "Anna, from your tone, it seems like you've t Zilvra before, is that so?"
"t?" The elf's expression turned very serious, "If it's the na Zilvra, I've only heard of it these few days. But I think all the elves in Salantir have heard of the title 'Drow Executioner'. Although the Dark Elves use so secret passages to attack the elves, causing so casualties, under our efforts, this montum has gradually been curbed. However, in recent years, so scattered elf settlents outside of Salantir have often been attacked, frequently by an assassin skilled in using a thin sword. His equipnt is exceptionally fine, like that of a Dark Elf Noble. But unlike typical nobles, he frequently appears only in surface massacre missions that usually only Drow apprentices participate in, causing great harm. Sotis, he even advances alone to the surface, as if killing has beco an indispensable part of his life. Even if occasionally patrols can catch his trace, not a single elf has been able to capture this terrifying murderer. Because he uses weapons instead of spells, we always assud he was a male Drow. Until one day, I and a group of companions encountered that executioner." Sample from My Virtual Library Empire—read more on M&VLEMPY&R.
Lynch furrowed his brow. Although Anna stood before him, and Zilvra apparently was unhard, that encounter clearly didn't harm the two in front of him. However, considering Zilvra's skills, it would surely have caused Elves casualties, a rift that wouldn't be easily nded.
Zilvra must have recognized Anna too and felt threatened, after all, this was the kingdom of the elves; and Anna also picked up traces of suspicion, worrying for Lynch's safety. Both were his friends, yet belonged to opposing races. Even if Lynch hoped for both sides to lay down their hatred, it wasn't sothing that could be resolved with just a few words.
"I fought with that Drow for a long ti, and I'd never before imagined there could be such an agile swordsman. If it weren't for our greater numbers and the approaching dawn, I think I would have died long ago. Although I couldn't see the Dark Elf's face, I was sure it was a female Drow. But what confused the most was the skin on her neck was actually white in color. This event even caused my arrow, originally aid there, to miss its mark due to shocked and trembling hands."
"Moreover, it's not only who has noticed sothing about this matter," Anna finally said.
