Yida Eagle Head was pinned underneath his two brothers, barely alive. He struggled to lift his head, looking at Lynch, and trembled as he spoke: "Mage! This dragon will cast a spell on you, and you will be tornted by pain like forever! If you don’t kill it, you will..."
"Silence! Traitor!" The Brass Dragon’s "expression" suddenly turned serious: "There are many sins in this world, and theft and deceit are the most despicable among them. Return what you’ve stolen, and I will consider the punishnt you deserve."
"No! Never!" Yida Eagle Head seed to suddenly gain strength, pushing away the two who were pressing him down: "Even if I am destroyed, I will not let you have your way!"
He suddenly pulled out a black stone from his chest. In an instant, it seed to absorb all the heat around, and the light dimd. Lynch gripped his magic wand tightly as a massive suction force made it hard for him to stand. His ordinary vision could clearly see the heart-shaped Black Crystal Stone, but his Eye of Insight could see nothing.
"Let’s perish together!" Yida Eagle Head smashed the stone towards the ground forcefully.
"No!" The Brass Dragon’s massive claw reached out, but it was impossible to catch the falling stone. Yida Eagle Head’s body was pierced with a huge hole, blood gushing down along the dragon’s scales. However, he wore a smile, as if seeing the scene of the stone shattering, with its imnse power destroying everything around.
The black stone sank into the ship’s deck as if it had fallen into soft mud. It bounced twice on the "softened" wood, rolling to the mage’s feet.
Lynch removed his left hand from the surface of the ship and picked up the stone. He looked at the gradually dying Yida Eagle Head, expressionless. The stone in his hand seed to have suddenly lost its frenzied power, quietly lying in the mage’s palm.
The Brass Dragon placed the one dead and two injured druids on the shore, turned its head to look at Lynch. It spoke: "Mage, thank you for your help. The Great Druid will rember the friendship you showed today. Now you can..."
At this point, it suddenly looked squarely at Lynch’s arm, the refined gold arm instantly sparking a mory from long ago. The Brass Dragon broke into a happy smile, the joy from deep within beaming across its face.
"I’ve just co up with a better idea." The Brass Dragon said, smiling and twisting its body. Lynch was shocked to see the gigantic dragon before him transform into a handso young human of similar height standing in front of him.
"My na is Cicy, and I’m a bard." The transford Brass Dragon said: "Is there an empty room on your ship..."
Lynch looked at the dumbfounded "Cicy," constantly feeling as if he had fallen into so kind of trap. He hurriedly handed over the stone in his hand to the Brass Dragon: "It’s better for you to take this back quickly."
Cicy shook his head, saying to the mage: "Actually, it’s most suitable for you to keep it there. As a giant dragon who’s been alive for a long ti, I wouldn’t lie to you." He glanced around and, with a flourish, conjured a bard’s usual three-stringed harp beside him, excitedly saying: "When do we set sail?"
Lynch barely resisted the urge to throw the stone into the water, continually reminding himself, "The guy across from you is a massive Brass Dragon, whose power is not as simple as his human form suggests."
Seeing Lynch unresponsive, Cicy jumped into the helmsman’s position. He exclaid eagerly: "Mage, let’s go quickly, this sun is simply too scorching. Even I can’t tolerate it much longer. If we sail fast, the headwind will make everyone much more comfortable. I’m telling you, don’t just stand there!"
Lynch always had a feeling that he’d definitely taken on a big "trouble."
