When Koravos of Hanmosidun City announced a grand welco banquet to entertain the brave adventurers who resolved the mine problem and to make up for the regret of their hasty departure last ti, the whole city was abuzz with discussions.

Now it was a sensitive ti, and every Gray Dwarf felt a bit on edge. Once sothing was linked to the famous Koravos, it ant that the matter would invariably beco quite interesting. This renowned Gray Dwarf not only presided over most of the precious ores produced in the northern mines, but he also had his industries going in three other directions. If he weren’t worried about the entire city collapsing or being damaged, Koravos would surely want to dig into the stones beneath his feet and above his head to see if any beautiful gemstones were secretly hiding.

In other words, Mr. Koravos was currently the most famous tycoon in all of Hanmosidun City. Originally, the Gray Dwarfs thought that the mine incident would at least halve the old guy’s wealth, and that his purse would finally take a hit. But unexpectedly, Koravos’s luck was so powerful that a few people soon helped him solve that problem. Not only did his purse not have a huge hole, but because many people no longer cared about the northern mines, his share there grew even larger.

However, if it weren’t for the need to bring out his good things and share them with those in power to exchange for his own status, the northern mines would have beco exclusively his domain.

But all these news about his wealth were not the most important. There weren’t many topics that could keep the Gray Dwarfs of Hanmosidun City chatting throughout their workday. Yet, one thing kept them talking enthusiastically for more than half a year: among the adventurers who helped Koravos back then, there was actually a Mage!

This news was about as rare as finding the second Secret Silver River in the world.

In Hanmosidun City, there had never been a Gray Dwarf Mage. They were naturally very resistant to Spells, unlike the Dark Elves who had a Black Crystal Tower as a place to train Mages. These Gray Dwarfs were inherently unwilling to learn those obscure and difficult matters. And in their famous "Enlightennt Temple," there had never been a Gray Dwarf instructed to beco a Mage. They only needed a tougher body and greater enthusiasm for mining. Mages, to them, were practically myths.

As for those Magic Items, ever since the Gray Dwarfs "invited" them from their original owners, they had just been decorations, never fulfilling any function. The only Spells these Gray Dwarfs possessed were those shown by Priests who believed in the Dwarf God while healing.

So, a Mage arriving in Hanmosidun City was even more appealing than a visit from a giant dragon. More astonishing was that the Mage ultimately accepted Mr. Koravos’s invitation and personally resolved the "ghosts" problem in the mine. In this respect, Koravos beca a legend, akin to the "Dragon Knights" spoken of by humans on the surface.

Since that event, Koravos’s image was elevated to a new level among these Gray Dwarfs. All the dwarfs buzzed with discussions, envying his luck and courage. However, what they discussed most was what kind of reward Koravos promised the Mage at that ti.

"I think it would be two full carts of the finest ores," so said, "and the Mage would use these ores to make the most exquisite armor!"

"Co on! The most exquisite armor is made by Old Deltas from Tetholu," others said. "The Mage definitely took away a full cart of exquisite gemstones!"

"No, you’re all wrong! When the Mage left, there were eight lizards following him. Imagine how many things that would be! Koravos must have spent a fortune!" Ultimately, this remark from a city gate guard spread widely among the Gray Dwarfs.

However, Koravos, as the person involved, did not step out to clarify these rumors. He continued, as always, to frequently appear in public, moving others with his generosity. The Gray Dwarfs of Hanmosidun City all knew that Koravos was never stingy with money. He was always thinking of ways to hold banquets, even to entertain those he didn’t even know. Gradually, everyone ca to believe that even if he gifted the Mage a whole wagon-load of goods pulled by eight lizards, Koravos’s purse was still bulging; his wealth was far from being spent.
