Footsteps approached.
Qin Si cursed his bad luck and hid in a room, preparing to leave after they left.
The footsteps outside were hurried.

He looked around the room and finally found a switch on a statue of a handso horse.

Qin Si’s heart skipped a beat as he walked down the rough cent stairs.
He walked down a long, dark, and narrow staircase before gradually sensing the light. However, the beam of light was very weak and did not help much.
Qin Si carefully held onto the stairs as he went down. When his eyes adapted to the dark environnt, he quickly walked to the end and saw the person he had been searching for two days.
Guan Yan was hung on the torture rack by refined chains. Her clothes were drenched in blood. Her hair hung down, and her eyes were closed. She looked like she was on the verge of death.
Qin Si’s heart skipped a beat. He almost didn’t dare to approach her.
“Guan Yan…”
The person trying to conserve her strength suspected that she was hallucinating. Her eyelashes fluttered, but she did not open her eyes.
She was really too tired, and she was enduring extre pain.
Even after the doctor injected penicillin into her, it only prevented the wound from inflaming and forming pus, but it could not relieve the slightest pain.
Shadow and the others wanted to force her to speak through torture, so they would not let the doctor prescribe her painkillers.
She was in pain, and she could only feel her life slipping away.

“No, I’m alone.” Qin Si walked over and tried to release her from the chains. Realizing that he could not break it, he suppressed his urgency and let go.
He pulled away from Guan Yan and pulled the chain. Then, he looked at the woman’s beautiful peach-blossom eyes and asked softly, “How do I open this?”
Guan Yan recovered from her shock. Her expression was ugly as she gritted her teeth and said, “Are you crazy?! You ca in here alone? How did you get in? Do you want to die?”
Qin Si had endured it for two days and couldn’t hold back anymore. He glared back with red eyes. “What about you? You knew it would be dangerous these few days, but you still went to see your friend? What kind of friend is so important that you don’t even want your life!”
Guan Yan had never seen him like this and subconsciously looked away.
Qin Si knew that now was not the ti to argue with her. He suppressed his jealousy and gritted his teeth to pull the chain. “I’ll save you!”
