Chapter 231: Chapter 177: Daring to Impersonate Them_6 Chapter 231: Chapter 177: Daring to Impersonate Them_6 Hearing Qin Qin say this, Deng Zhi and a few other police officers twitched the corners of their mouths. Miss Qin was so wealthy, yet she still haggled over money with them.

Qin Qin glanced at Deng Zhi and the others indifferently, “Don’t complain about in your hearts. Who works for others for free? I naturally have to look out for my interests.”

Deng Zhi and the others were shocked and their faces flushed with embarrassnt.

Qin Qin didn’t care about their reaction and got straight into the police car. “Let’s go, take a look.”

The residential area where the dismbered body case occurred was a kiloter away from the alley they had co from. It was a sowhat dated neighborhood, surrounded by many people who were all pointing and discussing the area, their faces showing expressions of fright.

“The three mbers of the Chen Family were all dismbered. Who could have done this? It’s just too cruel!”

“This killer is absolutely heartless!”

“It’s terrible. I heard the ground was all covered in blood!”

“Such a nice family, it’s really a pity.”

“Yes, Mr. Chen and Madam Chen were very kind. Who could have been so cruel to them?”

The police car honked its horn, and the crowded throng parted, their voices reaching Qin Qin’s ears as she looked out of the police car window. The faces of the people showed anger and fear, but she withdrew her gaze impassively.

The police car drove into the neighborhood, and a police cordon was set up in front of a building. Qin Qin and Deng Zhi, along with a few others, got out of the car.

Curious onlookers outside the building stared at Qin Qin, noting her young age and ordinary dress, clearly not resembling a police officer, and began whispering among themselves.

“Who is this person, getting out of the car with the police?”

“I don’t know, she’s so young, she definitely can’t be a police officer!”

Inside the cordon, a familiar male police officer saw Qin Qin and showed a surprised smile, “Miss Qin, what brings you here?”

Qin Qin smiled slightly and stepped forward. “Just taking a look.”

“Having you here will surely help us. There’s hope of solving the case now. The criminal this ti is unbelievably ruthless.”

Once the male police officer finished speaking, Qin Qin and Deng Zhi, together with the group, went upstairs.

The dismbered body incident occurred on the third floor, in apartnt 301, ho to the Chen Family. The husband and wife were both in their sixties, their son and daughter-in-law worked away from ho, leaving just the elderly couple and their granddaughter.

This afternoon, when the neighbor returned ho from work, they saw the door across the hall surprisingly open. Out of curiosity, they took a glance, and the next mont, they collapsed on the ground, screaming, drawing the attention of many people. Upon opening the door, they discovered the three mbers of the Chen Family had been dismbered in the living room, blood everywhere, with three heads facing the entrance, expressions of horror on their faces.

The sight made the onlookers vomit and beco weak all over.

Qin Qin and Deng Zhi entered apartnt 301 and were imdiately greeted by the sight of Zhang Yue standing with his back to them, deep in thought in the living room, while the other police officers were busy with their tasks. The bodies had already been taken away by the forensic team, leaving behind a large pool of blood.

As soon as Qin Qin and Deng Zhi stepped in, Zhang Yue turned around. The mont he saw Qin Qin, he paused, “Why are you here?”

Deng Zhi hurried forward, walking up to Zhang Yue and whispering, “Captain, I invited Miss Qin over.”

Zhang Yue stared intently at Qin Qin for a mont, a struggle visible in his eyes, then stepped forward, “Sorry to bother you, I’ve always told them not to trouble you.”

“I didn’t co here for nothing; you have paid for my services, but I can’t guarantee that I will be able to help,” she said. She had not used her ghost eyes in such a way before because all those people were dead, and she didn’t know if she could see anything on a dead body yet.

“Miss Qin, I’m sure you can do it,” Deng Zhi said gratefully on the side, having witnessed Qin Qin’s abilities.

Qin Qin smiled but said nothing, while Zhang Yue said solemnly, “This should be the job of us police, but now the person is exceptionally vicious and has incredible anti-investigation capabilities. If we rely solely on ourselves, I’m afraid many people will be in danger, so we are troubling you this ti.”

Zhang Yue spoke earnestly. He had solved so many cases, and this was only the second ti he had to rely on a girl, even though this girl was not ordinary; it still made him feel sowhat ashad.

Qin Qin nodded; she would naturally try her best since she had accepted the paynt.

Moving past several people, Qin Qin walked toward the living room. Even she, who had seen many horrible scenes, had to close her eyes to calm her heart at the sight that t her.

A scene too gory to describe, too cruel to bear watching.

Two forensic scientists were continuously at work, unfazed as they placed limbs into transparent bags upon seeing Qin Qin.

Qin Qin’s gaze was dark as she looked at the scene before her. The skulls were facing her, seeming to speak of the terror they had felt before death, as if they were pleading for soone to catch the killer and avenge them.

Qin Qin’s line of sight moved beyond the two skulls, looking at a girl on the living room couch, her face showing an expression of terror for all to see.

Qin Qin stood there, her expression unchanged as she watched, earning the admiration of Deng Zhi, Zhang Yue, and the other police officers present.

A forensic scientist lifted their head to look at Qin Qin, surprised to see her standing there unfazed. Standing up, the scientist walked over to Zhang Yue, “Captain Xi, the killer is very clever, they didn’t leave behind any evidence.”

Zhang Yue, already aware of this result, nodded somberly, “Is there anything on the girl that can give us a clue? Does that fingerprint have any prints?”

“No, it seems like the girl was violated, but actually, she wasn’t; she’s still a virgin.”

Zhang Yue was taken aback, looking at the girl, “Still a virgin?”

How could the killer have not touched the girl?

Qin Qin turned her head and walked toward Zhang Yue; she had already taken a look just now.

“Captain Xi!” Qin Qin spoke faintly.

Zhang Yue looked at Qin Qin, “Qin Qin, how did it go?”

Qin Qin nodded, then shook her head, “Sort of, I guess!”

Zhang Yue’s heart, which had been lifted in anticipation, relaxed slightly, and he quickly asked, while the other officers looked at Qin Qin nervously.

“This ti I can only tell you the characteristics of the killer!”

This ti, whether it was because the scene was too bloody or because the victims were dead, what she saw was very blurry. The whole scene was filled with blood, as if a layer of cloth was covering a TV screen in front of her eyes.

She saw the killings by the killer, the terror of the three victims, and could feel their fear and panic firsthand. It was the first ti she had not wanted to look more at such a scene, filled with blood, grief, and rage.

“Good, even just the characteristics of the killer is helpful!” said Zhang Yue, nodding. With the killer’s characteristics, they could proceed with their investigation.
