Chapter 563: Shen Yan’s Suitor
Yan Jinyi discovered that Huo Chengyu did not seem to be affected in the least by his divorce from Shen Yan.
Moreover, he was getting closer and closer to Ren Hanxuan.
After a long ti of being away from Shen Yan, Yan Jinyi began to miss her greatly. Since she returned ho early today, she decided to speak to Shen Yan over a video call.
It was already late at night over at Shen Yan’s side and at this mont, she was sketching so designs on her work desk, which now had her hand-drawn sketches strewn all over it.
Shen Yan was still as elegant and alluring as ever. Dressed in a dark green silk nightgown with her hair draped across her shoulders casually, she looked rather carefree and languid.
“Sister-in-law, why have you beco prettier and prettier?” Yan Jinyi whistled and teased while facing the phone screen.
Shen Yan cheeks turned slightly red and she said, “Jinyi, I’m not your sister-in-law anymore, you should change the way you address .”
“I’ve gotten used to it. How about...” Yan Jinyi suddenly said with an evil smile, “How about I call you Yan Yan?”
‘Yan Yan is a nice na, it’s affectionate too.’
Shen Yan coughed. Ever since she was a kid, she had never been addressed in such a manner. Even her parents rarely called her by any pet nas.

All of a sudden, a figure appeared in the corner of her eye and Yan Jinyi asked loudly, “Yan Yan, are there any good and handso n wooing you lately?”
Shen Yan imdiately pulled a long face and said worriedly, “Jinyi, I was just about to ask you for advice.”
Yan Jinyi asked with surprise, “So you do have a suitor, huh?”
“It’s a senior of mine from college. Actually, he did try to woo when we were in college but he went abroad to further his studies after I rejected him. Recently... I ran into him in the US and he wants to woo all over again. He keeps coming to pester all the ti.”
“Is he handso? Is he rich? What does he do for a living?”
“He’s an architect. We attended a painting exhibition together previously and that’s actually where I ran into him.”
‘Architect, huh? Sounds like a lofty job but it doesn’t matter, as long as he’s Shen Yan’s suitor.’
At this mont, Huo Chengyu had already walked towards the sofa opposite Yan Jinyi and sat down with a book in hand, which he was reading seriously.
Yan Jinyi cleared her throat and said again loudly, “All that matters is he can afford to provide for you. Yan Yan, you’re so outstanding and beautiful, your suitors must be great catches too. You two are of a marriageable age anyway. If you find him suitable for you, just accept his courtship. He’s been holding a torch for you since college, n like him are rare.”
Yan Jinyi deliberately put her phone on loudspeaker and soon, Shen Yan’s voice could be heard coming from him.
“Give a mont, Jinyi, I’ll go get the door.”
It was followed by dense and hurried footsteps.
Soon, a pleasant male voice sounded.
“Shen Yan, I heard your assistant say you are still working overti. I happened to be passing by so I decided to bring you so late-night snacks.”
His voice was gentle and llow, extrely pleasant to the ears.
Yan Jinyi grinned. ‘Sounds like a hunk.’
“Senior Shen, it’s not good to have supper at such a late hour.”

Yan Jinyi had already seen what the man looked like. He was dressed in white athletic attire and gave of a jovial and energetic vibe. The point is, he was really quite handso.
“Yan Yan, quickly introduce to your new boyfriend!”
After saying that, she glanced at Huo Chengyu with the corner of her eye.
He was still seated composedly and reading his book, seemingly unaffected by the fact that Shen Yan had a new suitor.
