Chapter 455: Jinyi’s Parents Have Already Passed Away

“SY is the fashion label owned by my sister-in-law.”

Huo Zihang was getting a little impatient and he turned around to go back to the office.
Yan Jinyi had just arrived at the restaurant where she had agreed to et Tan Sangsang.
As soon as Tan Sangsang saw her, she quickly pulled her into the private dining room as sneakily as she could, for fear that others might find out.
Almost as soon as Yan Jinyi sat down, she received a phone call from Huo Zihang.
She looked up and couldn’t help but glance at Tan Sangsang before answering the call in loudspeaker mode.

Huo Zihang’s voice was rather loud and he was drinking so water as he spoke.

‘Why do these people never learn their lessons? They’re all so eager to face my wrath.’

“It’s just going to be a couple of days.” Yan Jinyi looked up and then said, “Sangsang, please pour a cup of green tea.”
Huo Zihang imdiately interjected, “Second Sister-in-law, you’re with Miss Tan?”
Yan Jinyi raised her eyebrows and gibed, “Yeah, why? Do you have a problem with that?”
“I’m quite free now, why don’t you give your address?”
Tan Sangsang got a great shock and she hurriedly waved her hand at Yan Jinyi while hinting to her with her eyes.
Yan Jinyi winked at her and said to Huo Zihang, “Get lost.”
She then hung up resolutely.
Huo Zihang stared at his phone screen with resentnt.
After seeing that Yan Jinyi had hung up, Tan Sangsang finally heaved a sigh of relief.
“Um, is Mu Mu really Huo Zihang’s son?” Yan Jinyi couldn’t help but ask.

‘Right, Jinyi’s parents have already passed away and she’s not close to her grandmother either,’ Tan Sangsang thought.
“My mother said that she will take Mu Mu back to her hotown to visit her relatives during the Lunar New Year period. I reckon she’ll return only after the holidays.”
Yan Jinyi nodded and said, “The air in the countryside is fresher. I’m probably going to spend Lunar New Year with the Huo Family.”
At this point, she sohow felt lancholic. In the past, her underlings would celebrate the new year with her by hosting a huge talent show. Although it wasn’t that entertaining, it was lively and enjoyable.
