I ran into a nearby gift shop and bought so tonics. Passing by soone’s doorstep, out of courtesy, it was always polite to pay a visit. It would be embarrassing to go empty-handed.

It was the dog days of sumr, but I felt a hint of coolness; in horror novels, this was the gathering place for all kinds of eerie stories.

I wasn’t angry either, nodded at him, and placed the gifts on the table.
She poured a glass of water for and said, "You sit first. I’ll go check on my mom."
I nodded, looking around the room.
The room was not large, just over 700 square feet, with three bedrooms, one living room, and one bathroom. The environnt was poor; the furniture looked a bit old, and the room exuded a faint sll of decay.
"Hey, do you like my sis?"
Dennis pushed the wheelchair over. "Let tell you, if you want to pursue my sister, do you know the first condition?"

"Besides that, what other conditions are there?" I asked.

"If I like him, even if he’s a beggar, I’m willing!" Lucy shot back.
She snorted, then gave a scornful glance, as if to say, "What are you trying to join in on?"
I chuckled.
She said, "Co in; my mom wants to see you."
I nodded and walked over, hearing Dennis muttering behind . "No manners, didn’t even bring so gift money when eting lover’s parents for the first ti!"
Lucy’s brother was really a weirdo.
Entering the bedroom, a faint scent lingered. I maintained a neutral expression. Lucy’s mother, Brooke, was paralyzed in bed, unable to move for using the bathroom.
On the bed, there was a thin middle-aged woman; from her thin face, you could vaguely see that she was also a beauty in her youth.
Lucy inherited more of her mother’s looks.
I walked to the bedside and greeted, "Hello, Auntie, I’m Lucy’s classmate, William Maine!"

"Mom... we haven’t reached that stage yet!" Lucy’s face suddenly turned red.
