But it was all for nothing. I eventually chose marketing, which didn’t require much in terms of qualifications.
Sevan Art Academy, known as the cradle of Sevan artists, had cultivated many great artists.
"My aunt is in the office. Let’s go up."
I followed behind Lily Monroe and saw many beautiful won along the way, each elegant and attractive. No wonder there were so many luxury cars parked at the school gate. It seed they were all here to pick up the girls.
At the office door, Lily Monroe knocked, and a gentle female voice from inside said. "Please co in."
We walked in, and the office was spacious, about sixty to seventy square ters, with a plush carpet on the floor that seed comfortable to walk on.
It was cool inside, with two large bookshelves on either side, one filled with books and the other adorned with various dals of all sizes.
The lowest were city-level awards, followed by provincial and national awards. The most impressive was the international awards displayed at the top, such as the Global Gold Dance Cup and the Silver Award from the Blackpool Dance Festival won by soone nad "Ruby Hill," which was Lily Monroe’s aunt’s na, sounding fresh and elegant.
In the center was an enormous mahogany desk, and a stunning woman sat there. She was Ruby Hill.
Thirty-two years old, she was over ten years younger than Lily Monroe’s mother, but she looked like she was in her early twenties. Her skin was tender and full of collagen.
Yet, she looked quite commanding.
’What a mature beauty!’
Such an idea flashed through my mind. She was wonderful.
When Lily Monroe saw her, Ruby smiled slightly, almost stealing my soul.
I quickly averted my gaze and put on a natural smile.
"Lily Monroe, here you are."
"Auntie Ruby, I brought William here."
Lily Monroe went over and hugged her directly.
"Hello, Ruby, I’m William."
I greeted her quickly. Since Lily Monroe called her auntie, maybe I could just call her by her na.
I handed over the lilies. "These are the flowers I specially picked for you."
Actually, I ordered them online. If I had known Lily Monroe’s aunt was so beautiful, I would have definitely chosen them in person. I would have been willing to give her all the lilies, no matter how many she wanted.
"You’re so considerate."
Ruby stood up, took the flowers, and said, "Co on. Take a seat!"
She placed the flowers aside, took Lily Monroe’s hand, and led her to sit on the nearby sofa.
She had a perfect figure. Among the people I knew, she had the most balanced and pleasing appearance. But I didn’t dare to stare at her. I took a glance and then sat obediently across from her.
Ruby looked up and down with a gaze as if she was looking at her nephew-in-law. "Co on, William. I don’t usually drink coffee, so I’ll just have plain water for you."
Ruby brought a glass of water over, and I quickly took it. "Ruby, you’re so nice. I don’t usually drink coffee, either."
She smiled. "I’ve heard about what happened before from Lily Monroe and my sister. I’m really grateful to you. The Michaelson Family only has one daughter. If anything happened to her, my sister would break down."
"Ruby, it’s nothing. It was just a coincidence. Even without , soone else would have done the sa."
I called her na. Even though she was an elder, she looked younger than .
"I don’t think so. There are too few people nowadays who act bravely without expecting anything in return."
Ruby looked at with admiration. "Lily Monroe eting you is her luck and blessing."
I scratched my head awkwardly. "Lily Monroe and Frank have helped a lot. It’s my fortune to know them."
"Good deeds bring good results. You’re very kind. Among the young people I know, no one is better than you."
Ruby smiled, "I’m not flattering you. I an it."
With her praise, my face turned red. She was indeed a vice principal, speaking so nicely and sincerely when praising .
"Ruby, if you keep praising , I might get proud." I joked.
She then subtly asked so questions, and I answered truthfully, like whether I had a girlfriend.
After all, even Lily Monroe knew that Mary was my girlfriend.
Then Ruby changed the subject. "I heard you opened a dance training company?"
"Yes. It’s at HT Plaza, with over five hundred square ters. It’s currently under renovation and should be completed by the end of this month."
"That’s good."
She asked. "How’s the recruitnt going?"
"We’re in the process of hiring, but the most challenging part is finding experienced dance teachers."
"That’s easy. I can post a position at your place. If I have ti, I can co over to help teach. And when you donate so money later, I’ll figure out a way to get you a school partnership plaque, which should attract many more teachers to work there."
"That would be great!"
I was thrilled, but then I said. "But Ruby, will this have any negative impact on you?"
"Don’t worry. It won’t. In fact, there are many teachers in schools who run private dance classes outside. As long as your facilities are good enough and you have an excellent teaching staff, there won’t be a problem."
Ruby stood up and took out a mbership application from her bag.
"Take this back to fill out, and bring it over when it’s done. On your opening day, I’ll co and bring you the plaque."
"Thank you, Ruby."
I was overjoyed, as things were going smoothly with her help.
"You keep calling Ruby, so I suppose we’re kind of friends. I should help, right?"
She looked young but spoke with an air of authority.
We exchanged contact information, and I successfully added her on Facebook.
After chatting in the office for a while, I bid farewell and left.
"What do you think of my aunt?"
"Really great."
I chuckled, "Of course, you’re even better!"
"Sweet."
Then, I accompanied Lily Monroe to Sevan Art Academy for a while, but due to the heat, we had to return to the office.
"Do you want to go upstairs?"
Lily Monroe shook her head. "No, I’m going to my bestie. Your company is opening, and I want to mobilize my resources to support you."
