Chapter 230 — WHEN GODS START BLEEDING
The sky above the ruined city had turned into a battlefield beyond anything human history had ever recorded. Clouds no longer drifted with the wind; they shattered, torn apart by the forces colliding above them—erald lightning, black-gold eclipse energy, and the blinding white radiance of Heaven’s Executors.
Six divine figures hovered across the storm in perfect formation.
Below them two dragons fought against the sky itself.
And beneath that war, the city trembled.
Ergency convoys raced through shattered streets while rescuers pulled civilians from collapsed structures and military units struggled to maintain evacuation corridors. Yet everyone who could see the sky had stopped moving.
Because above them—
Heaven had declared judgnt.
High above the battlefield the Jade Dragon strained against a radiant lattice binding its body. Chains of white light stretched across the sky like a geotric prison, each line anchored between the hovering Executors surrounding the dragon. Erald lightning exploded across its scales as the dragon roared and slamd its claws against the web.
"Break!"
The sky shook but the lattice held.
The central Executor spoke with the sa calm, emotionless tone.
"Anchor suppression stable."
Below, Han muttered in disbelief that the creature had just stopped a dragon while Nyx quietly explained that the Executors were not using strength; they were enforcing rules.
Above them Long Hao saw the Jade Dragon trapped.
"...Yeah. That’s not happening."
The Eclipse Dragon surged forward through the storm as black-gold energy erupted from his wings like a rising eclipse.
"Void Eclipse Breaker!"
His claws slamd into the radiant lattice. The impact detonated across the sky, shockwaves rippling through the clouds as several lines of the prison cracked.
The Jade Dragon seized the mont.
Erald power erupted from its chest.
"Erald Sovereign Cataclysm!"
A tidal wave of jade energy blasted outward and the lattice shattered. The sky exploded with light as four Executors were forced backward by the collapsing prison.
The Jade Dragon burst free. Erald lightning surged across its wings as the dragon roared in triumph.
"Freedom!"
Below, Han shouted in excitent. But the mont lasted only seconds.
One of the Executors moved. The divine figure appeared directly in front of the Jade Dragon without sound or motion. It simply existed there. The Executor raised one hand. The air warped.
Then it punched. The strike landed directly against the Jade Dragon’s chest. For half a second the impact was silent.
Then the sky detonated. The Jade Dragon was hurled across the battlefield like a teor, crashing through layers of storm clouds before slamming into a distant bank of thunder.
Long Hao blinked slowly.
"...Okay. That one hurt."
Below, Han’s jaw dropped while Nyx watched silently.
High above the battlefield the Jade Dragon recovered midair as its wings snapped open violently and erald lightning surged again.
"You dare!"
The dragon lunged forward with claws tearing toward the Executor’s head, but the divine figure shifted slightly and the strike missed. Then it countered.
A blade of pure white light ford instantly in its hand. The weapon sliced forward. The Jade Dragon twisted away, but the radiant edge still cut across its side.
For the first ti—
Erald blood spilled. The sky fell silent. Even the storm seed to pause. Long Hao stared at the glowing blood drifting through the clouds.
"...Well."
He flexed his claws slowly.
"Guess gods bleed too."
The Jade Dragon snarled as erald energy surged across the wound and its eyes burned with fury.
"You will regret that."
But the Executors did not react. Instead all six raised their hands simultaneously. The sky opened again. Six rings of white light appeared across the heavens. Larger than before. Brighter than before.
Below, Kovács’ instrunts erupted with alarms as she shouted that energy levels were rising. Han asked how bad it was and her voice trembled as she answered.
"...Regional extinction levels."
Above them the central Executor spoke again.
"Eradication phase three."
Long Hao stared upward.
"...Okay. That’s definitely bad."
The Jade Dragon growled beside him.
"They escalate again."
Long Hao flexed his claws slowly.
"Then so do we."
The Eclipse Dragon surged forward as black-gold energy exploded across the storm.
"Eclipse Sovereign Surge!"
The air around Long Hao warped violently as gravity twisted and clouds collapsed inward. The Sovereign System inside him pulsed harder while Longyu’s voice echoed softly inside his mind, warning that he was pushing too far.
Long Hao grinned slightly.
"Yeah."
He looked up at the six blazing rings gathering power above the battlefield.
"But we’re out of options."
The Jade Dragon moved beside him as erald lightning surged across its scales.
"You intend to challenge Heaven."
Long Hao shrugged.
"Didn’t plan on it."
His wings expanded.
"But here we are."
Above them the rings continued charging, white energy gathering like miniature suns as the sky trembled beneath their power.
Below, the Eight watched in stunned silence. Han whispered that the attack would erase half the city while Nyx answered quietly that it would—unless the dragons stopped it.
High above the battlefield two massive dragons hovered beneath the blazing rings. Black and gold. Erald and lightning.
Long Hao glanced sideways.
"Well. Temporary alliance still standing?"
The Jade Dragon snorted.
"For now."
Long Hao grinned.
"Good."
The mont Long Hao’s wings surged forward, the sky reacted violently. Black-gold energy exploded outward from the Eclipse Dragon like a tidal wave of darkness swallowing the storm. Clouds collapsed inward. Lightning shattered. The air itself warped as the Sovereign Domain expanded across the battlefield. Above them, the six radiant rings brightened instantly.
The Executors reacted. Three of them descended at once. Simply appearing closer. Radiant blades ford in their hands as divine authority condensed into weapons of pure light. The first Executor struck. Its blade carved downward toward Long Hao’s head. The Eclipse Dragon twisted sideways. The blade missed by inches and sliced through the storm behind him. The clouds split apart for miles.
Long Hao countered imdiately. His claw slamd forward. "Void Eclipse Claw!" Black-gold energy detonated against the Executor’s chest. For the first ti the divine armor cracked. The Executor slid backward across the sky. Long Hao grinned. "Yeah. That’s more like it." But the second Executor attacked instantly. A spear of radiant light ford in its palm. The weapon launched like a falling star. Long Hao rolled midair. The spear tore past his wing and exploded against the clouds behind him. The sky burst apart from the blast.
anwhile the Jade Dragon had already reached the rings. Erald lightning erupted across its scales. "Erald Sovereign Break!" The dragon’s claws slamd into the lowest radiant ring. The impact shook the heavens. The ring flickered. Then cracked. Below Han stared upward. "...Did it just damage the thing powering that attack?" Nyx nodded slowly. "Yes. But only barely." Above them the remaining Executors reacted instantly. Three of them surged toward the Jade Dragon. Radiant chains of light ford between their hands. They hurled the chains forward. The glowing restraints wrapped around the Jade Dragon’s wings. The dragon roared. Erald lightning detonated outward. The chains snapped instantly.
The Jade Dragon lunged forward. Its jaws clamped down on one of the Executors. The divine figure slamd into the ring behind it. The entire structure shook. Long Hao saw the opening. The Eclipse Dragon shot upward. Black-gold energy surged across his claws. "Eclipse Sovereign Breaker!" His strike slamd directly into the cracked radiant ring. The sky detonated. The ring shattered. White fragnts of divine energy scattered across the battlefield like falling stars.
Below the Eight stared in disbelief. Han whispered. "...They just broke Heaven’s weapon." Above the remaining five rings flared brighter. The Executors spread their wings. Radiant authority surged outward. The central Executor spoke again. "Threat escalation confird." Its glowing gaze locked onto the two dragons. "Full divine suppression authorized." The sky darkened. The remaining rings began charging faster. Much faster. Long Hao glanced sideways at the Jade Dragon. "...Yeah. This fight just got worse." The Jade Dragon snarled. "Good." Erald lightning erupted again. "I was getting bored."
His wings surged forward as black-gold energy erupted across the storm. The Jade Dragon roared and erald lightning tore across the sky.
And for the first ti—
Two Sovereigns attacked Heaven together. The sky shattered.
