"He is not of this era," Lei Sai directly revealed Lu Hong’s true identity.
"So it was you," Agaso didn’t show surprise but instead a smile blossod on his face as if a great burden had been lifted, "It seems my trip was indeed not in vain."
"What do you an?"
"Ti and space, without special cause, cannot be swayed, so the elders in my tribe believe that it must be soone disrupting the normal flow of ti and space, which has led to this anomaly," Agaso explained, "On this journey, my primary objective was to investigate the movents of the Beast Clan’s Heavenly God, and secondly to find the root cause of the disruption in ti and space."
"Now that the root cause has been found, I have at least completed one mission," Agaso said to Lu Hong, "Don’t worry, we won’t harm you, but you must co back with to the Elves. We need to investigate the source of this anomaly through you, that’s the only way we can trace the Beast Clan’s whereabouts."
"Okay," Without a second thought, Lu Hong imdiately agreed. The truth of the matter had tornted him severely, and now, as long as he could pursue the answer, Lu Hong was willing to try everything.
"I’ll co too, if I may?" Lei Sai was worried about Lu Hong’s safety, and was also very eager to know what exactly the Beast Clan was up to.
"That’s fine, but I hope you will abide by the rules of my people and not cause trouble," taking a Heavenly God back to the tribe carried a certain pressure after all; the potential destructive power of a Heavenly God, if they intended harm, was truly imasurable.
Once the matter was settled, it was best to set out sooner rather than later, so the three of them decided to depart imdiately for the Elves.
Agaso had control over wind magic, and with his assistance, their speed was incredibly fast as they traveled with the wind; within half a month they had arrived at the Elven Royal Court.
Just like what Lu Hong had seen in a future era, the Royal Court was imnse and magnificently grand.
"What do you think? Are you shocked by my Elven Royal Court?"
Lei Sai nodded, "Yes, it truly is grand."
"Hahaha, in fact, my Elven Royal Court is also a war machine, co, follow ."
Under the bloom of Agaso’s Divine Power, the Elven guards made way, kneeling on one knee.
"We welco the return of the Great Elven King!"
"We welco the return of the Great Elven King!"
"We welco the return of the Great Elven King!"
The chant echoed through the Royal Court.
Lu Hong curled his lip—what a grand spectacle.
Agaso led the two of them into the interior of the Royal Court, to the deepest sanctuary of the Elven altars.
The Elven priests, having received news in advance, had already arranged various matters, waiting for Lu Hong’s arrival.
Two female Elf Priestesses stepped forward; first, they saluted Agaso, and then reached out to take hold of Lu Hong’s hands.
The two Priestesses closed their eyes and their bodies began to convulse as if they were seeing so terrifying sight.
"This..."
Just as Lu Hong was about to speak, he was stopped by Agaso, "Don’t worry, the Priestesses always do this when they’re using their powers, you’ll get used to it."
After a good while of convulsing, the two Priestesses finally released Lu Hong’s hands, stepped back with a look of terror on their faces, and what’s more, from the lower half of their bodies, they began to slowly dissipate.
"It’s... it’s the Goddess of Destiny, she’s..."
Before the two Priestesses could finish speaking, they vanished without a trace, as if they had turned into bubbles.
Agaso’s face darkened, this sort of thod was too bizarre, he was unable to stop it even himself.
"The Goddess of Destiny?!" Agaso gritted his teeth, "It was her, indeed."
"Who is the Goddess of Destiny?"
Agaso sighed and explained, "One of the Primordial Deities, possessing strange, unpredictable powers, proficient in both ti and space. However, she has never taken part in the conflicts of the continent and rarely makes an appearance, with hardly anyone knowing she exists. It’s said that she is the collective will ford from ti and space, and by controlling ti and space, she possesses the power to manipulate everything, hence she is known as Destiny."
"So now can we find out what exactly the Goddess of Destiny has done?" Lei Sai, sensing the gravity of the situation, asked.
"We don’t know, but we must try," Agaso stepped onto the altar, speaking with the High Priest of the Elves.
After a short while, the High Priest approached Lu Hong and said, "Child, co with ."
Following the High Priest, Lu Hong stepped onto the altar.
"Here, lie down," the High Priest instructed, "No matter what happens, don’t move, understand?"
"Understood."
The High Priest waved his hand, and as a row of priests ascended the altar, they disrobed, revealing pure and sacred bodies.
What the fuck?!
Lu Hong hastily closed his eyes in fright.
But he was scolded by the High Priest, "Open your eyes!"
Alright, Lu Hong swore it wasn’t what he wanted to see.
Lei Sai also wanted to check out the differences in the anatomy of elves and humans, but was blocked by Agaso, "You old thing, I didn’t expect you to look so serious on the outside yet be so lecherous."
"It’s not lechery, I just wanted to..." Lei Sai couldn’t be bothered to explain: "Fine, I won’t look."
Finally, the High Priest also stripped off his garnts, and a group of naked n and won began to dance around Lu Hong, performing a dance that laypeople couldn’t make heads or tails of.
Gradually, a milky white mist began to spread around, enveloping Lu Hong.
At this mont, Lu Hong felt himself becoming drowsy, wanting to sleep.
"If you want to see the truth with your own eyes, then don’t sleep," the voice of the High Priest echoed in his ears, and Lu Hong imdiately mustered up his energy.
After a while, blurry images began to appear above the mist.
"Continue praying, don’t slack off!"
Under the High Priest’s command, although the priests were pale-faced, they didn’t cease their ritualistic activities.
With the efforts of the group of priests, the blurry images beca clear.
One could clearly see a young girl performing a ritual for hundreds of Beast Heavenly Gods to trace back their false incarnations.
Although the sound was inaudible, one could guess a thing or two from their lip movents.
In a mont, the style of the imagery suddenly changed.
The girl, leading hundreds of Beast Heavenly Gods, as well as an endless army of beastn, arrived in front of a rift.
Is that the Abyss of Ultimate Magic?!
Lu Hong suddenly realized why they had co to the Abyss of Ultimate Magic.
A terrifying hypothesis climbed into Lu Hong’s mind.
Indeed, following the girl’s lengthy casting, the Abyss of Ultimate Magic slowly opened, bursting forth with azure light.
At the sa ti, under the gesturing of the gods, the beastn army marched into the Abyss of Ultimate Magic.
Passing through the gateway of the Abyss of Ultimate Magic, Lu Hong witnessed the great battle between the beastn and the allied human forces; those three solemn banners, were clearly those of the Holy Divine Empire, the Snowy Region, and the Eagle Alliance!
How could this be? They actually crossed through ti and space, to the future? To later generations?!
Lu Hong felt like he was going insane, hundreds of Heavenly Gods traversing through ti and space was an absolutely world-shattering disaster for the Star Sea!
"No... No!" Lu Hong couldn’t sit still any longer, and he roared loudly; the spell was abruptly broken by the shout.
As the casting was interrupted, all the priests spat out blood, collapsing to the ground, and even the High Priest, who was just a bit stronger, was also near his limit.
"Do you know where that is?" the High Priest asked weakly, "Do you know what they have done?"
"I know, I now understand everything the beast race is doing," Lu Hong said solemnly, "They have traversed ti and space, and have gone to the future!"
"The future?" Agaso and Lei Sai stepped onto the altar, "How many Heavenly Gods are there in the future?"
"In the future, there are no Heavenly Gods in this world."
"What?!" Agaso and Lei Sai were shocked: "No Heavenly Gods? How is that possible?"
"The Star Sea is godless," Lu Hong added, "Other star domains do have Heavenly Gods, but their numbers are few, hardly enough to withstand the assault of a hundred Beast Heavenly Gods."
"Why are there no Heavenly Gods in the future? It shouldn’t be like this!" Agaso and Lei Sai couldn’t comprehend the reason for a godless state.
Lu Hong also shook his head: "I do not know why the Heavenly Gods are inconspicuous; it is said that the Heavenly Gods have gone to a higher realm, not within the Star Sea."
"So you’re saying that Heavenly Gods still exist in the future."
"Yes, only their whereabouts are unknown to anyone, and concerning the current events in the Star Sea, they may also be unaware."
Lei Sai, seeing the worry at the bottom of Lu Hong’s eyes, patted his shoulder, "Since the future isn’t without Heavenly Gods, then it should be able to hold them off for a while, don’t worry too much."
Lu Hong nodded: "I hope so."
Now that he knew the true actions of the beast race, the restless thoughts in Lu Hong’s mind had settled down; the invasion of the Star Sea by a hundred divine creatures from the beast race was not a situation he could reverse.
