The Sprigfield air was tainted with a bloody mist, blood-curling screams resounding from inside the Town’s barrier.

Anyone logging back in had the shock of their lives.

[Entered a War-zone!]

[Respawn Restricted! Good Luck ^_^v!]

[Quest! Drive Away the Enemies Save the Town!]

Before they could even register the ssages, the screams would turn their stomachs inside out. Tearing? Splattering?! Mad laughter echoing even &%?!

The situation couldn’t have seed stranger, even from a bird’s eye. A baffled rmaid was actually holding a shimring teardrop, her magic gazing at the situation inside.

"Scout! Report, what’s happening in there!"

"T-that... It’s...unfathomable.... They’re actually fighting? They’re slaughtering one another?!!"

The water magic quickly changed to show a scene of carnage. A certain cultist robe-wearing organization was gathering the random players, ready to sacrifice them all.

anwhile, the renowned guilds were all slowly coming under various banners to protest the inhumane action of the D.L. sect outwardly, but many were actually sneakily plotting to run away on the first occasion.

Die for a shitty Town? How about not! This couldn’t be truer for a Town that was getting controlled more and more by D.L. The worse was that the madn didn’t listen to reason.

The usual "dialogue" usually went like this:

"Fear not and die for the cause!"

"The millionth sacrifice will summon our god and—"

"Bitch, go away! There ain’t even 1 million players in Infin— ARGGG! "

The "conversation" would inevitably end with a poor sob sacrificed to the "Dark-God!"

The invaders’ eyes were glued to the scene, not sure whether to rejoice at the human’s folly or be insulted by being underestimated as such!

But that was only the beginning. Not long after, so humans actually started to exit the Town...begging to be saved?! They were taking a calculated risk, but damn were they bad at math, for that angered Gargan.

"Shaless humans! Slaughter them all and raze their Town down!"

That’s when Sprigfield seemingly turned into an ocean of blood inside and out. What should have been a bastion of human courage....quickly turned into a cruel joke.

The rmaid’s army didn’t just attack. They charged.

They slamd themselves against the Town defenses akin to a mighty...wave, as unoriginal as it could sound. They had also found giant crabs to act as enormous battering rams!

— BAM! —

— BAM! BAM! —

With every assault, the barrier shook until it finally shattered. Thus began S-Day (sushi day), except the soft at getting sliced was 99% human.

The sobs of the NPCs could be heard as their entire lives were washed away. The shop that had been in their family for generations? How about not!

For a short magical instant, all citizens, from the lowliest drunkard to the wealthiest n of the Town, felt the sa...FUCKED!

Even the exquisite appearance of the rmaids wasn’t enough to comfort their poor broken hearts. But just as all hope was lost...

"Who said fishes are allowed in this place!" A mighty cry resounded.

It ca from an idiot.

There was no other way to describe the guy.

He had a very simple warrior outfit that barely showed his affiliation, and the only weapon on his person was a long but equally simple spear.

The invincible-looking Gargan at the forefront couldn’t help but sneer at this pathetic display. So what? Just an idiot! It was only a matter of seconds before he’d get overrun.

But surprisingly, the human didn’t falter one bit. He even took a stance as if ready to block the entire army by himself as he opened his mouth and...

"I am LEAD!"

Yes....that was it.

Glorious speech?! None!

Talk about his indomitable resolve? Not even!

He didn’t even ntion that he was the "leader" of I.R.L., for he didn’t care about that himself. At the mont, there was only the spear in his hands and incoming enemies.

Seeing his courage, the nearby guilds couldn’t help but praise him. "What a dumbass!", and they expedited their fleeing preparations.

A lone man inspiring everyone? Did that even work outside of movies? In any case, his previous shitty "speech" was far from sufficient for it.

The rmaid army laughed.

The bystanders laughed.

The NPCs laughed.

They kept laughing as all the I.R.L. mbers joined their leader, showing a deep spirit of camaraderie. They watched it all happen, waiting to see disaster strike.

...But it all suddenly stopped. Not with the appearance of a mighty hero, not with the arrival of the Town’s Wizard, nope! It all changed when the Bunny/Cat girls arrived!

"W-wait... aren’t those the Drunken Sailor’s idols?!"

"Bunny-Chan, run! That’s a battlefield!!"

"Quick, soone, save them!"

Many "heroes" dived forward to rescue the super cute princesses. But as they got there....none were actually leaving for so reason?

What?! Was there magic at work?! Not really, but close...

The would-be "heroes" were quickly confronted with a vision that made their blood pump faster than water at Niagara Falls!

- Cute fluffy ears

- Godly proportions

- Puppy eyes if they left

- Eyes full of wonders if they remained

- Then, the enticing promises in case they defended successfully...

The cowardly players’ backs would suddenly straighten while their aura beca profound as if immortal that had transcended humanity. It was the fastest transformation ever!

"Run?! No way! Sprigfield is our ho!"

"Let’s see how they kill us all!"

"Let’s skin those fishes!"

An excited Lead had tears in his eyes. True enough, he wasn’t the only one that wanted to protect the wonderful NPCs there! This was the worth of humanity right there!

Lone Spearman —> A Fearless Army!

[Cat girl > Quest?!]

[....]

But that’s when the enemies finally reached humanity’s defenders. Gargan at the very front wasn’t just sneering. He was laughing. Fear? Apprehension? Bitch, please!

As he cut through the allied lines, many suddenly regretted their earlier taunts.

"H-holy shit! He’s level 80?!"

"♡ I believe in you! ♡"

"S-sure?!"

As humanity’s warriors were getting slaughtered, a confident tavern keeper could be seen peacefully grinning, knowing the rest would be up to his master.

Still, wouldn’t the Town fall at this rate?! Oh well... #Not My F-ing Job!
