Chapter 1503: Chapter 1503: The Mysterious Fish Formation

The Fish Formation shifts, and with the waving of the Commanding Flag, the military formation of Starfire is completely obscured.

No one could see the personnel of the Starfire Legion; it was as if an endless ocean had appeared where the Starfire Legion used to be.

Swarms of fish erged in this ocean, the Starfire Legion vanished, replaced by endless schools of fish that left the Magma Fortress’s n dumbstruck.

They once had military formations, too, but they abandoned their faith in the Titans, rendering those formations unusable. Moreover, their formations rely savagely increased their offensive and defensive capabilities, never displaying such fanciful tactics.

Several older mbers of the Dragon Clan’s faces changed, and the Green Dragon princess couldn’t help exclaiming, “It’s truly the Fish-dragon Marshal Flag, and moreover, one of the main flags at that.”

A few Green Dragon leaders were completely invigorated; the Fish-dragon Marshal was very unfamiliar to the current human races, and to those secluded Underground people of Uldaman.

But for those who experienced that Twilight of the Gods era, who reversed the tides of the gods’ great war with their own strength, the Fish-dragon Marshal left an indelible impression.

Oh, the Fish-dragon Marshal, so mysterious.

Back then, the Neutral and Order factions were almost obliterated by the scheming deities of the Chaos Camp, along with the plots of the lion-scorpion and Ross.

However, the Fish-dragon Marshal appeared and miraculously turned the tide of the war, reversing the entire situation with their troops.

In the end, a single person severely wounded two main gods. Such mighty battle prowess – it’s known that our Dragon King is also on this level. To put it plainly, an individual’s combat power is tantamount to that of two Dragon Kings.

And it’s unknown if that was even their limit, but after the Twilight of the Gods, they mysteriously disappeared.

Only a few Fish-dragon banners remained, eventually scattered for various reasons.

In The Ancient God World, there are only two universally recognized legends: one is the Moon God, who defied the heavens to beco a True God, and the other is this Fish-dragon Marshal.

Uldaman’s elite legion might not know what a Fish-dragon Marshal is, but just by observing the formation, they knew it was not simple.

Alice swiftly mobilized troops towards Starfire, and the Uldaman Legion reacted promptly, quickly readjusting their formation.

In fact, they had long been prepared to deal with reinforcents.

Gorden stood at the forefront of the military formation, his gaze ice cold: “Such tricks and deceptions will beco dregs before our firepower. Prepare the Black Fire Cannons, and once they enter range, let them taste the flavor of our special bombs. I don’t care if you are fish; soon, I’ll turn you all into dead fish.”

Click, click, click, click…

Within the military formation, three rows of Cannons were already prid and waiting.

And the phantom sea along with the fish within surged towards the Uldaman formation like a tide.

“They’ve entered range, fire the first row of Cannons.”

“They’ve entered range, fire the second row of Cannons.”

“Fire the third row of Cannons…”

Hundreds of cannons in three volleys roared continuously, lighting up the dark underground world with trails of fire.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom…

The rows of Artillery Shells first plunged into the phantasmal ocean, as if steaming real seawater with the high temperature upon impact.

Then ca the explosions upon contact with the ground: vast amounts of seawater trembled, mixed with countless mud and stones, the magnitude of the impact reaching extres.

On the other side, one Artillery Shell could blast an Ancient Tree of War to smithereens, a testant to the sheer power.

Amidst the blasts, countless fish chaotically dispersed, converged, and road; although shaken, these fish were mostly unhard.

“Impossible, this must be an illusion; no one could withstand such bombardnt from the shells, don’t be deceived by appearances, continue to bombard them. Prepare the Fire Gun Legion; their 200,000 strong army, no matter how much they disperse, what can they do? Once they co into range, open fire at will and annihilate them all.”

Although Gorden had a bad hunch, he still bolstered the morale and made a judgnt biased in their favor.

Indeed, after hearing Gorden’s words, the soldiers who were hesitating had their eyes beco resolute and ruthless once again.

On the Starfire side, there were still no sounds of humans, only the sounds of surging seawater and swimming fish.

The armies from both sides frantically closed in on each other, and the Fire Gun Legion from Uldaman also crazily opened fire.

For a mont, the sound of guns and the booming of cannons were everywhere, unleashing fierce firepower.

As for the spectators, they couldn’t make heads or tails of the situation; however, they noticed that the bullets seed to slow down as soon as they entered the illusory seawater, creating a sensation of being obstructed, though it wasn’t very obvious.

What was key was that hitting the slippery swimming fish with bullets was practically impossible.

Even if a bullet did hit, what everyone saw was it grazing off the scales of the fish and shooting past, the fish being sent flying with a scorching divine mark left on its scales, but it quickly rged back into the school of fish.

Those bullets seed as if they couldn’t hit anything and fell into the void.

Even with Gorden’s explanation, the soldiers’ faces turned blank; had they really hit their target?

And by the ti the Fire Guns could hit their target, Starfire’s long-range capabilities were more than adequate.

However, Starfire’s attack wasn’t with arrows, but rather with schools of the sa swimming fish.

They saw fish with tallic luster, like arrows, burst out of the water – arrowfish.

Pu, pu, pu, pu, pu, pu…

Initially, the close-combat fighters of Uldaman were able to defend, but as more arrowfish targeted those at the back, more n of the Fire Gun Legion were being pierced through by swordfish; and with their deaths, these arrowfish turned into real arrows.

Even more terrifying was that out of nowhere, blue ice fish and vivid fire fish appeared in the sky.

The ice fish could freeze and pierce through people, while the fire fish would burn and explode upon them.

As for those purple fish, they resembled a continuous barrage of arcane shots.

“Don’t panic, don’t be in disorder, engage in close combat and break into their formation, shatter their illusions,” Gorden’s face turned green.

The situation was too bizarre. To stabilize the army’s spirit, Gorden took the lead and charged forward.

He went straight to the front and aid a hamr blow at the head of a massive golden fish.

Everyone saw the enormous golden fish spewed out an electric fish with lightning, and Gorden’s body stiffened montarily as if pushed by the waves; the electric fish was shattered, and the golden fish was repelled.

“As expected, I can hurt you. It’s just an illusion. Die,” Gorden said with a grueso expression, leaping directly into the school of fish and initiated a whirlwind attack.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…

Bang, bang, bang, bang…

In the dazzling spin, his massive Warhamr sent groups of swimming fish flying. But these fish were only shaken off, with scales perhaps falling off at most. However, they quickly rged back into the school of fish, and if one observed closely, they would notice that the places where the scales fell off would soon grow new scales again.

anwhile, fish of various colors kept assaulting Gorden, freezing and slowing him down, burning and exploding, or rotating and piercing through him, directly depleting Gorden’s health.

He smashed these fish furiously with his Warhamr, and then before long, he and his subordinates who had followed him in the charge realized a tragic fact…
