Nimrod was surprised to hear a certain piece of news from Bruno.
"Bruno, what the hell are you talking about? Since when does Fate’s ho have a moat built around it?"
Bruno, still sweating and becoming even more stinky, said to Nimrod, "My lord, apparently to flaunt his wealth, Fate had a giant indoor pool made. After that, he had the entire room coated in solid gold. But this was not enough for him, so Fate made a hole in the wall and, with the excess water, created a moat around Shadow Spire Citadel. Not only did the thief fall into the moat, but he then got eaten by the thousands of the Carnaval fish that inhabit it. They especially love the taste of humans from what I’ve heard."
Nimrod began to get a headache, then he asked Bruno, "Bruno, where the hell did you learn this information from?"
Bruno pulled out a collection of papers and gave them to Nimrod. "This collection of papers is called a newspaper. It’s a recent invention that has caught on in popularity in Valoria and the surrounding area. A group of won in red sell them on the corner of almost every street. These newspapers are very reasonably priced. Anyway, all of this information was put in the newspaper by a concerned citizen."
When Nimrod heard that a concerned citizen was spreading his business around, he almost fainted in anger. But Maria used her hands to give him a scalp massage. Nimrod started to relax a bit. If the thief failed, then so did the assassin.
**Author’s Note:** Nimrod is not aware he is the hero of Blissful Paradise, but he always feels like everything will work out for him no matter how bad it gets. Just wanted everyone to know why Nimrod is so sure of himself.
But Nimrod knew that everything would turn out alright and the spatial pouch would not be an issue. Even if so of his subordinates at Bloomspire Academy yelled at him that the Queen will make a personal trip to Valoria if she finds out he used her things without permission. Nimrod saw this as an opportunity to add the elven Queen Nyssara Darkmoon to his ever-growing harem, just like Maria and Ruby, when he gets his hands on her.
Nimrod began to make plans in his mind on how to take advantage of when Nyssara Darkmoon cos to Valoria because, when she does, that Dark Elf beauty would be his.
Bruno was still waiting for Prince Nimrod to say sothing, but he beca impatient and said to Nimrod, "My lord, perhaps we should just ask Duke Fate to return the spatial pouch. No wait, my lord, I just rembered Nyssara Darkmoon’s son is going to school at Bloomspire Academy, so perhaps he can help us with getting the spatial pouch back and at the sa ti we can pin the bla for it being missing on Fate Grimsever."
When Nimrod heard this, he knew there was a reason he kept the genius Bruno around. Besides the fact that he has an excellent son who can kiss Nimrod’s butt like an experienced noble of his father’s court.
Nimrod looked at Bruno and said with an excited sneer on his face, "Bruno, go and arrange for Dirk Darkmoon to co and see here while I’m still healing. The priests say I should be able to leave in a few days, but they also ntioned that another paynt for my treatnt is needed. Also, ntion to Dirk on his way to see to find a way to lure his mother over to Valoria so she can deal with Fate on my behalf. Then I will find a way to add her to my harem."
Bruno, upon hearing the prince bring up the need to spend more of his money, grew excited. The more he spends to help Prince Nimrod, the more achievents he will have once the prince takes the throne.
"I will take care of everything for you perfectly, your majesty, just like I always do."
Nimrod nodded and waved for Bruno Pringle to leave. Bruno bowed and left the room, leaving Nimrod and Maria alone. When they were alone, Nimrod grabbed onto Maria and pulled her into his arms, trying to kiss her. Maria held up her hand in front of Nimrod and stopped him from getting too close to her face. Then Maria said to Nimrod, "Nimrod darling, we agreed that you would wait until marriage to be intimate with again."
Nimrod regained control of himself quickly and said to Maria, "I’m sorry, Maria. I sotis forget myself. Don’t worry, I will keep my promise just like I know you will stay pure because of your love for ."
Maria, with a one hundred percent believable poker face, said to Nimrod, "Of course, my dear. You are right. I just can’t wait until the day you graduate from Bloomspire Academy and then a few years later beco king after your father retires."
Nimrod smiled with anticipation and said, "Yes, of course, Maria. That is only twenty to twenty-five years away. As we wait to get married, our love for each other will only contiue to grow."
Nimrod continued to hold Maria until she slipped out of his hold, taking advantage of her nonexistent chest. Maria then continued to give Nimrod a head massage. While she was doing this, Maria was wondering about the rumors she had heard that Fate, her old master, had beco wealthy beyond imagination. Maria wondered if there was a way that she could exploit Fate to obtain his wealth.
Fate got up in the morning to find Ruby already standing by his side, waiting for him to get up. Fate frowned a bit and said to Ruby, "Ruby, you live in my room with , so it’s alright if you want to sleep in sotis."
Ruby just shook her head and said to Fate, "No way, that would take too much ti away from one of my favorite hobbies."
Fate grew curious about this hobby and asked Ruby, "Ruby, what hobby is that?"
Ruby grew excited about sharing her hobbies with her master. "One of my favorite things to do at night is to watch you sleep."
Fate nodded and then did the only thing he could do in a situation like this. "The weather is lovely outside today, Ruby. But no morning sunrise can compare to your beauty."
That’s right, Fate just employed one of the MILF Hunter’s greatest tools for handling his harem. Fate changed the subject by giving a complint.
