"A curious sight," he said, voice calm but cutting through the chamber like a blade. "The seat ant for the heir of Argrave... taken, Should i ask for it to given back to its real owner."
Gasps fluttered across the room. Silvia stiffened, her eyes flickering between her mother and the crowd.
His words were cold, precise, filled with confidence.
Silence followed.
He waited for the inevitable reply.
"What are you doing here?" the baroness spat.
"I am here for the counsel eting, as the solo heir of Argrave. Isn't this the reason enough?" Lucien replied, not taking his gaze off the baroness.
"Mother!" Silvia hissed.
"Shut your mouth." the baroness replied looking at her, then looked back at Lucien.
The Baroness rose slowly from her chair, voice icy but laced with irritation.

"So, what! By being barons wife You will sit and take his seat?

"And did he put that in writing?" he asked smoothly.
The Baroness blinked.
"Any seal? Any decree? Any parchnt at all?"
Silence.
"I am the firstborn of Baron Argrave. His blood, not his Bed-mate."
By the law of the empire i am the next heir by right. I am the ruler after the baron, my blood father.
