We gathered and were waiting for teachers to start, then, out of nowhere, Mineta grabbed my collar, looking like he was about to cry. “Why?! Why did you take this from ?! Why did you steal my dream?!”

I slapped him across the field. Hard. He landed face-first in the dirt and rolled a few tis before scrambling up and running back, still crying.

“Listen!” he wailed. “Momo's previous dress was perfect! A masterpiece! A true work of art! And now… now she is wearing that-” He gestured wildly at Yaoyorozu’s outfit, a modest suit made from her own hair and other materials, durable yet flexible enough for her Quirk. “You ruined everything!”

Yaoyorozu adjusted her cuffs. “I prefer this,” she said simply. “It allows to use my Quirk without unnecessary exposure.”

Mineta sobbed. “But the cleavage…”

Shoji grabbed him by the collar and tossed him into a pile of rubble.

Momo had always been modest, and now thanks to , clothes would not hinder her. After seeing the dress I made for Nejire for the beauty pageant, she commissioned to craft one for her. Since she was a richy, I accepted. Anyways, no one cared what Mineta thought.

I adjusted my gloves, glancing over at Momo, who was standing there like she had not just crushed so pervert’s dreams. “Suit fits well,” I said, giving her a once-over.

She nodded. “The material is flexible, just as you promised. It does not restrict my movents or my Quirk.”

“Good,” I said. “Would not want you flashing the enemy for free.”

She gave a flat look. “That was never my intention in the first place.”

Mina snickered. “Bet Mineta thinks otherwise.”

“Mineta thinks a lot of things,” Jiro muttered.

Kendo, who had been rubbing her temples ever since Monoma’s last outburst, finally sighed and turned toward Vlad King. “Can we just start already?”

Vlad, who had been watching the exchange with all the patience of a babysitter dealing with a room full of sugar-high toddlers, nodded. “Right. The joint battle training will be four-on-four, Class 1-A versus Class 1-B. Each match will be a test of teamwork and strategy. Capture the opposing team or render them unable to continue.”

Aizawa stepped forward, hands stuffed in his pockets like he would rather be anywhere else. "Alright, listen up. Today’s joint training is straightforward… capture the enemy, or you lose. Use the terrain, work together, don’t waste ti."

Vlad King grinned, arms crossed. "And to spice things up, we have a guest joining us."

The mont he said that, Shinso walked out from the sidelines, hands in his pockets, looking about as enthusiastic as Aizawa on a Monday morning.

"Yo," Shinso said. "Most of you know already. For those who don’t, I am aiming for the Hero Course, and to do that, I have to prove I can beat you."

So murmurs went around. A few nods, so glances exchanged. No one really reacted beyond that.

Aizawa didn’t waste ti. "Teams have already been assigned. You will draw lots to determine the order of matches. First round, get ready."

I raised a hand. “Why am I not in any teams?”

Aizawa didn’t even look up. “Shinso is taking your place.”

I grinned. “What, am I overpowered?”

Aizawa snorted. “Pain in the ass. You turn into a toilet-mouthed nace in battle, and Vlad and I decided none of our students deserve that kind of trauma.”

The field went dead silent. Then, from the peanut gallery-

“You talk a big ga for soone who let fight an actual war criminal,” I muttered.

Kirishima laughed. “He got a point.”

“Shut up, Red,” Aizawa said, rubbing his temples. “You will live.”

Monoma, being Monoma, stepped forward, smirking like he just won the lottery. “Oh, but of course! Class 1-A’s Wildcard! The unpredictable disaster! I can only imagine the terror of working alongside such an unstable elent-”

Kendo slapped him so fast he nearly ate the dirt. “Monoma, shut up.”

“Point still stands,” I said, waving at Shinso. “Alright, new kid, you are my replacent. You better make em cry.”

Shinso nodded. “No promises, but I will try.”

Bakugo clicked his tongue. “Tch. This is bullshit.”

I shrugged. “Yeah, well, Vlad is scared of . Ain’t my problem.”

Vlad King crossed his arms. “No, we just actually want the match to be fair.”

Mina grinned. “Damn, Ryuu, they are really benching you like you are a one-man natural disaster.”

I gestured vaguely. “Not my fault the other team is fragile.”

Sero leaned over. “What would you even do to deserve this?”

“Probably the Stain thing,” Kaminari muttered.

“Maybe the Hassaikai raid,” Jiro added.

“Oh, oh, or the ti he called Midnight a ‘governnt-funded pervert’ during training,” Mina said.

Aizawa rubbed his temple like he had a migraine forming. “Enough. And speaking of Midnight… Ryuu, go see her. She has sothing to say to you.”

I had barely survived Monoma and Mineta’s circus and now Aizawa was handing off like a cursed artifact. Great.

I sighed and turned, already heading toward the staff area. The halls were empty. Not surprising. Most of the teachers were busy teaching or pretending they had better things to do. I knocked twice on Midnight’s door and pushed it open before she could answer.

She was sitting behind her desk, legs crossed, looking way too amused for my liking. “Well, if it isn’t U.A.’s charming stud.”

I raised an eyebrow. "The fuck now?"

Midnight licked her lips. "Sit."

I dropped into the chair across from her, already questioning why the hell I was here. She leaned forward, chin resting on her palm, eyes practically gleaming like she was about to drop sothing I wouldn’t like. “If this is about being ‘too much’ again, just say it now so I can leave.”

She chuckled, leaning forward, arms resting on the desk. “Oh, Ryuu, sweetie. If I started listing all the ways you are ‘too much,’ we would be here all day.”

I crossed my arms. “Then stop wasting ti.”

She tilted her head, eyes flicking over . “You and Ashido have been… mingling.”

My body tensed imdiately, as I shot up. “What?”

Her smirk widened. “Oh, don’t play dumb. You know what I an.”

I took a step forward, planting my hands on her desk. “Are there caras in the rooms?”

She humd, completely unfazed. “Why? Feeling exposed?”

I narrowed my eyes. “Answer the damn question.”

She leaned closer, voice dropping. “Nezu has hormone detectors.”

I blinked. “The fuck?”

She laughed, tossing her head back. “Oh, you should see your face! Priceless!”

Midnight leaned back, smirking. “Two days ago, the hormone detectors exploded. Much like soone else did.”

I raised an eyebrow. “That a guess, or is Nezu actually running an underground surveillance ring?”

She dragged a finger along my forearm. “If I said yes, would it make you nervous?”

I shrugged. “I would just say it makes sense. The rat is a certified war criminal.”

Midnight chuckled, letting her nails skim lightly against my sleeve before pulling back. “Relax, lover boy. No one is watching you in your room. The detectors just pick up… heightened activity.”

I exhaled through my nose. “So, what, that thing goes off whenever people are getting too into a workout?”

“Oh, Ryuu.” She patted my arm, voice dripping with amusent. “It is a bit more specific than that.”

I stared at her, unimpressed. “That was not an answer.”

She leaned in slightly. “It picks up pheromones, darling. Certain kinds. The kind that spike when people are doing more than push-ups.”

I tapped my fingers against the desk. “You are telling U.A. installed a horny alarm?”

She laughed, tossing her head back. “I an, we call it a ‘hormone detector,’ but sure, if that makes it easier for you to process.”

I dragged a hand down my face. “What the fuck.”

Midnight rested her chin on her palm, watching with way too much enjoynt. “You and Ashido must have had quite the ti. Usually, it just pings a little. Yours? The whole system fried.”

I side-eyed her. “And the point of telling this is…?”

She humd, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. “Oh, just making sure you are… inford.”

I leaned back. “Bullshit.”

She tapped her chin, pretending to think. “Well, if you want the real reason…” She trailed a hand over mine again, tracing idle circles. “You are young, hormonal, and clearly capable. But, tell , Ryuu, do you actually know what you are doing?”

I let the silence drag.

Midnight smirked. “That is a no.”

I clicked my tongue. “What, you planning on giving a quiz?”

She propped her elbow on the desk. “Not quite.”

I stared at her. She stared back. Then she smiled, pushed her chair back, and stood.

“Alright,” she said, walking around the desk. “Sex ed. Now.”

I blinked. “What.”

She gestured toward the chair. “Sit back, pay attention.”

I crossed my arms. “I am good, thanks.”

She tutted, shaking her head. “Oh, Ryuu. This is not about what you think you know. It is about what you should know.”

I exhaled. “The hell do you even plan on teaching?”

She grinned. “Let’s start with the basics. You do know that won are not vending machines, right?”

I scoffed. “No shit.”

Midnight leaned on the desk, stretching slightly. “And yet, you would be surprised how many boys think pushing the right buttons ans instant rewards.”

I waved a hand. “Not my problem.”

She smirked. “It will be if you keep ‘exploding detectors’ the way you do.”

I clicked my tongue. “You enjoy this too much.”

“Oh, imnsely.” She straightened. “But I do have a job to do, and part of that is making sure our students are educated.”

I rolled my eyes. “Fine. Go ahead, then. Teach.”

Midnight’s grin widened. “Gladly.”

She started pacing slightly. “First, communication. The biggest mistake people make? Assuming. You would be amazed how many idiots think they are mind readers.”

I shrugged. “Not an issue.”

She raised a brow. “You and Ashido talked about everything before, during, and after?”

I hesitated for half a second.

Midnight caught it imdiately. “Ahh. Thought so.”

I sighed. “It was fine.”

She crossed her arms. “Fine is not the sa as good. And if you want good? You talk. Ask. Confirm. Every ti.”

I exhaled. “Yeah, yeah.”

She smiled. “See? You are learning.”

I grinned. "Talk is cheap. You want to teach ? Strip the theory and bring the practical. Otherwise, I am zoning out halfway through your TED talk on clit algebra."

Midnight leaned in, resting her elbow on the desk, fingers tapping lightly against her cheek. "Oh? Hands-on approach, huh?"

She slid her fingers down my arm, damn to slow. "Interesting. You strike as soone who learns fast."

I didn’t move. "That depends on the teacher."

Her lips curled slightly. "Then I suppose it is up to to be... thorough."

Real, deep, soul-curdling guilt. The kind that wakes you up at 2AM, sweating, because you rember...

you never voted for Ryuu.

cymbal crash

I had a chance.

We all did.

And now… the story is on hiatus.

And I hear Mineta is canon.
