Frustrated, the figure extended his hand, trying to summon another spell. But Xavier was quicker.
"Disrupt Magic!" he shouted, nullifying the attempt instantly.
With the enemy montarily stunned, Mia seized her chance. She swung her sword in a fierce arc, aiming directly at the figure's neck. The figure barely blocked in ti, but the force knocked him off balance, and he stumbled back.
Xavier charged in but quickly stopped as the figure entire body burst into flas, both Xavier and Mia moved backwards creating space.
The figure cracked it neck as it took the torn robe off but there still couldn't get a good look at the figure face with flas covering the entire body.
"Shit..." Xavier muttered.
"Disrupt Magic won't work after the spell is cast, but spells like this burn through Mana" Mia muttered.
"I know, but we have no idea how much Mana this enemy has, we can't possibly try to hold off waiting for the enemy to run out of Mana" Xavier spoke.
The figure held his sword tightly pointing it towards Xavier and soon a fireball launched out of the tip of the sword towards him.
Xavier sidestepped just in ti, the fireball whizzing past him and exploding against a nearby wall, scattering embers in every direction.
The figure took advantage of the distraction, charging forward with surprising speed, the flas around him burning bright.
Mia rushed in from the side to cut off the enemy's path as he charged towards Xavier.
She swung her sword low, aiming for his legs, but the figure leaped over her blade, twisting mid-air and bringing his fiery sword down on Xavier.
Xavier raised his sword to block, gritting his teeth as the heat pulsed against him but his entire body was covered in Mana which help him. The impact sent a wave of force through his arms, but he held steady.
Xavier heard a chuckle and felt a hand touching his stomach.
