Ethan held the map in his hands as he walked forward to the forest.
The Whitewood forest was a vast space that surrounded the capital, many villages settled inside the forest in locations where beast dungeons were not, and the capital sends a few mages to stand guard in the village in case of an attack.
While in return the village sends resources to the capital, both for sales and so for tribute, for example, the boosting fruit is found growing around Zara’s village so their basic occupation is farming and planting the fruit.
The forest was vast so there were still many unexplored locations which strong adventurer often wander to in hope of finding treasures or powerful beasts so their crystals could be used or sold.
The basic way for adventurers to make money is by completing quests, selling beasts crystals, or working for the royal palace, which only highly skilled adventurers are invited and most of them are females.
Ethan finally arrived at the forest and took a deep breath before walking in, last ti he was in the forest he didn’t co across any beasts and it was because he was far from their usual hunting ground and dungeon, but now he was going in search of them.
(We are quite far from the city, a little more and then we test the sword)
After walking for a while Ethan stood close to a group of large trees that acted as natural shades from the sun.
’So what do I do?’ Ethan asked as he drew the sword from the sheath.

Ethan looked at the sword and from the tip, the rust was beginning to fall off revealing the pure black color of the sword but sowhere around the middle it stopped and Ethan couldn’t infuse Mana anymore.
