’What that!’ Ethan stumbled backward as the water enveloped both of them and imdiately froze; all the large amount of water instantly turned into ice.
Both of them were trapped underneath, but Isabella turned the ice around her into water and freed herself.
Ethan was surprised; first, how did that small water ball turn into this entire water, and secondly Isabella was able to freeze it imdiately to avoid it leaving the magic circle where they were fighting.
[Fla Cloak]
Ethan’s body erupted in flas, shattering the ice around him. He wasn’t giving it his all yet, but he could end the fight quickly with lightning if he wanted to. However, his goal wasn’t to win, just to show off his battle prowess since the Queen was watching.
He took a deep breath as more ice ford between him and Isabella. She hadn’t cast any new spells, but after channeling Mana into his eyes, Ethan realized why. She was creating distance so she could activate her Ice Goddess armor.
[Fireball, Wind Gust]
Ethan stretched his hands as he cast both spells at once, the combination of fire and wind was powerful enough to instantly destroy all the ice in his way.
He cracked his neck, ready for the next round, as Isabella stood fully prepared. Unlike before, when they had ended in a draw, this ti, she was going to be better at controlling her Goddess powers.
Her armor covered her body, turning her hair and skin icy white. Even though it was sunny, her breath was visible in the cold air. She looked entirely different, but Ethan wasn’t worried.
[Ice Mirage]
Before Ethan could make a move, Isabella activated a spell and suddenly appeared in front of him. Reacting quickly, Ethan ignited his hands and swung a punch at her, but her head shattered, and her body exploded into ice shards.
[Advance Barrier]
Ethan cast his barrier too slowly, and the force of the explosion knocked him back. An ice shard lodged in his shoulder, which he quickly pulled out. Looking up, he saw that Isabella hadn’t moved from her spot. She had only sent an ice clone for him to destroy.
The Queen smiled, clearly impressed by Isabella. The next mont, an icy sword materialized in Isabella’s hands. Unlike her usual ice weapons, this looked like a real sword, not just frozen water.
’It looked like Isabella really leveled up, I wonder what training the girls passed through’

’Snow Piercer?’ Ethan thought. ’Isn’t that just a sword she creates with ice?
(No, that’s a legendary weapon. How did she get her hands on that)
Before he could fully comprehend what was happening, Isabella dashed at him with blinding speed, aiming the sword at his neck. Ethan barely managed to dodge, sidestepping just in ti as her attack unleashed a controlled blizzard.
Now Ethan knew she wasn’t ssing around, Isabella was serious.
He pulled his sword from his [Storage Ring] and ignited it with flas.
Ethan knew sothing was off, Isabella wasn’t acting like herself. She was silent, and upon closer inspection, her feet weren’t even touching the ground—she was levitating.
Isabella floated there, her icy aura intensifying. Her silence was eerie, but it was her eyes—cold and unblinking—that unsettled him the most.
’Isabella, what’s going on with you," Ethan muttered, gripping his sword tightly.
Ethan lunged at her, his flaming sword slashing through the air. Isabella deflected the strike with Snow Piercer effortlessly, the clash of fire and ice sending shockwaves through the battlefield, and Ethan Imdiately backed away.
Now he was sure sothing was wrong; his sword, which was possibly the strongest sword, was just deflected by what he thought was an ice sword.
[Ice Storm]
Isabella whispered, her voice barely audible, as a sudden storm of ice shards swirled around Ethan.
[Advance Barrier, Fla Cloak]
Ethan quickly cast both spells as the shards ca at him. Ethan continued supplying Mana to his barrier, and soon, all the ice shards were stopped.
"Isabella snap out of it, what’s wrong with you?"
"Who do you think you’re talking to, puny human?" Isabella spoke, her voice alone sending chills down Ethan’s spine.
Isabella turned towards the other students and then towards the queen; now, all of them could see Isabella levitating towards the Queen with a sword in her hands, but all three of the academy head stood up imdiately.
"Do you humans think you can stop " she spoke as she was so distance away from them.
"Humans, I take it you’re no longer my daughter, are you the ice goddess?" The Queen spoke as she stood up.
"Ice goddess... I’ve never seen a human have this much power for to be able to appear in the physical plane, it’s nice to move around in the flesh"
"Are you going to take over her body?" Selena asked.
"What if I want to?"
"Then we’ll have no choice but to stop you" Maria replied.
"Humans, just as proud as I rember, you really think you can defeat ... too bad this body is beginning to crack," she spoke as she turned around, returning to the magic circle and the armor, her hair, and her skin turned back to normal.
Ethan dashed forward and caught her body just before it hit the ground; she had tiny cuts on her hands, which the ice goddess referred to as breaking; if she had continued occupying Isabella’s body, she would have broken to pieces.
The Queen sat back down with a smile on her face; when she heard Isabella awakened the ice goddess armor, she was thrilled.
A mber of the Royal family blessed by the goddess, but now she was even thrilled, Isabella had enough power for the goddess to take over even though it was for so seconds, aning if she trained enough she could hold it for a minute or two, which would be enough to change the tide of battle.
