After the first try, Arielle did it again for several tis. However, the result was the sa. Every ti she t Maxieno, the dragon always closed his mouth tightly. He would only stare at her for a mont before disappearing.

Arielle once called him at the wrong ti, and Maxieno let out his anger and snapped at her because he was tired of seeing her face. Of course, Arielle would never tell her husband about it. She didn’t want Ronan to be offended by Maxieno’s words.

Ronan wanted to stop Arielle from trying to et that damn dragon, but he knew that his wife still looked eager to do it. Even though the girl was repeatedly rejected by Maxieno, she didn’t look tired, annoyed, or desperate at all.

After Arielle woke up, she would only say, "Today, I failed again, but we still have tomorrow to try."

Seeing his wife’s determination, Ronan could only watch and accompany her. He would provide whatever Arielle needed. His support would always be with his wife.

Today was Irene’s last day to stay in the palace. She would start her education at the academy and would only get a vacation every six months. So did Sasha who also entered the first year, while Irene entered the third year as the class was determined by age.

Arielle couldn’t celebrate Aie’s birthday on Lazarus’ ship because she and Ronan had returned to the palace much earlier. However, after the woman returned, Arielle gave the present she had prepared. It was a brooch made of gold and diamond as a sign of their friendship.

Initially, Arielle planned to make Aie a painting. She wanted to give a present of her own ability. However, the accident in the port city ruined her preparations. Besides, since returning to the palace, Arielle didn’t have much free ti.

Therefore, she wanted to give sothing as proof of their friendship, as well as a sign of her gratitude for helping her all this ti.

Arielle was resting in Ronan’s study while waiting for the man to return from his eting with the Palace Councils. After this, her schedule was to visit the cathedral. It was ti for Arielle to check the condition of the apprentice priests and evaluate them.

There was a knock on the door. Arielle then allowed the person to enter.

"Oh, Aie? I thought you were still helping Irene?"

"I’m sorry to disturb your rest, Your Majesty. But I’m here to inform you that soone requested an audience."

"Who?"

"He didn’t ntion his na. However, he said that if I ntion the port city painting shop, then you will understand."

Arielle thought for a mont. What did it an by the port city painting shop? It only took a few seconds for her to rember everything. She finally rembered the old man who ran the painting shop where she bought painting equipnt to prepare Aie’s present.

At that ti, the old man asked Arielle’s permission to look into her eyes for three seconds. After that, he warned her not to go back through the main street.

If only Arielle had listened to the old man’s warning, perhaps that incident wouldn’t have happened. Arielle stood up. She wanted to ask who the man really was and the reason he could know that Arielle would experience sothing if she went through the main street of the port city.

"Where is he now?" Arielle asked.

"He is still at the palace gate."

"Then, let him in. I will et him in the eting room. Ah, and tell Ronan that I can’t see him this afternoon."

Aie bowed down in understanding. "I understand, Your Majesty. I will do it soon."

Arielle just rembered the old man. Also, she rembered the old man said he would give her a gift. Arielle was told to wait until several days, and ten days had passed since she returned from the naval base.

Arielle imdiately visited the Whitethorn Palace and waited in the eting room. She had many things she wanted to ask the old man.

"Your Majesty, your guest has arrived."

Arielle stood up to greet the old man. However, the guest he was expecting wasn’t the old man she t at the painting shop. In front of her stood a young man who looked clumsy.

The young man looked around. Fascinated by the beauty of the palace. This was the first ti he set foot in the palace, and now he was getting nervous about eting face to face with the queen.

Seeing the queen waiting while standing, the young man imdiately bowed his head and greeted her.

"Please, sit. Make yourself comfortable and warm."

"Th-thank you, You-Your Majesty the Queen. It’s an honor for to et you in person."

Seeing the young man reminded Arielle of her old self. The girl who felt awkward and afraid of other people.

Aie offered Arielle a cup of tea, and Arielle asked Aie to give it to her guest first.

"Are... you are the one sent by the old man from the painting shop in the port city?" asked Arielle.

She asked the young man to drink beforehand to calm his nervousness.

"Y-yes, that’s right, Your Majesty. I was asked to send this..."

The young man placed a rectangular object on the table. It was wrapped in a black cloth, so Arielle couldn’t see what was behind the black cloth.

"This is for ?" Arielle asked one more ti.

"That’s what he said. This is a gift for you for allowing him to look into your exquisite eyes. I’m sorry if I said sothing rude, but the old man said your blue eyes ... reminded him of the beautiful spring sky of Northendell. "

"Ah, I see... Then, can I open it?"

"O-of course, Your Majesty. This is yours, but before that... I-I was also entrusted with a letter for you."

The young man reached into his jacket pocket and took out a brown envelope, which he handed to Queen Arielle. Arielle didn’t forget to say thank you.
