Ronan took a deep breath, trying to calm the flas inside him as he heard how Arielle would be taken advantage of by King Hugo again. He imdiately got up and grabbed a piece of paper.

He would send a secret letter to divide his informants in the South. He would investigate who this Duke Pellington was. How he could get a pair of wolves and what he wanted by giving the wolves to the royal family.

Ronan also wrote down orders to find a man nad Matthew and bring him to the North as soon as possible.

The door to his room was knocked on again, this ti Arielle ca with Lucas. The man smiled in relief when he saw the princess return. The fire of his anger was extinguished.

"You called , Your Majesty?" asked Arielle in a gentle tone.

"Hm-hm, co here."

Lucas wanted to leave the room, but Ronan called him back. "And Lucas, you co here too."

Lucas approached along with the princess. Ronan gave two small pieces of paper with red dots to him. The red dotted ssage was the urgent ssage that the king always addressed to the royal spies. Lucas had to quickly bring the ssage to William for the man to send via royal eagle.

"I’ll send them imdiately," said Lucas, who then resigned, leaving Arielle and the king alone.

Ronan walked around his desk and sat down on it. He grabbed Arielle to stand in front of him.

"How is it? Have you talked a lot with your two siblings?" asked Ronan.

Arielle nodded slowly. She had t her two siblings, but they didn’t talk much.

The two of them stood without speaking. Ronan was still faithfully looking at Arielle as well as Arielle who was more interested in looking at the tips of her shoes which seed to sparkle in the reflection of the light from the fireplace.

Ah, Ronan was reminded of the girl’s suppressed smile when Alexis ntioned that the Southerners failed to protect the wolves they got.

Did that an Arielle was happy that she could stay longer in the North? But what if he told the girl that he was the one who had killed the wolves?

Suddenly the man’s arms wrapped around Arielle’s body and brought the girl closer between his legs.

"Your Majesty?" Arielle called, surprised by their sudden hug. Ronan buried his face in the crook of her neck.

"I want to be like this for a while."

Arielle allowed herself to be hugged by the man. Sohow she no longer resisted every touch Ronan gave. The king suddenly let out a long sigh as if he had been released from a heavy burden.

"Your breathing sounds heavy. Are you feeling tired, Your Majesty?" asked Arielle, who was worried if Ronan felt tired and her presence disturbed the king’s break. Ronan shook his head slowly. His smile blood as Arielle patted his back gently.

He liked Arielle’s scent. The girl didn’t use much fragrance, unlike her sister. Earlier, when he was sitting on the throne, Ronan could even sll Andrea’s perfu from quite a distance away.

Arielle was different. The girl’s sweet scent wafted faintly, making Ronan addicted to searching for more.

Arielle herself did not sweat much due to the cold conditions of the North. So that Arielle’s scent was not too obvious and could only be sniffed from a certain distance.

This position, without distance, was Ronan’s favorite because he could sniff Arielle to his heart’s content.

Ronan really wouldn’t forgive the South if they dared touch his girl. Many things still needed to be investigated. Arielle’s existence was truly an anomaly in his life. Ronan began to feel uneasy about the bond he felt for the girl.

His eyes closed to feel the warmth of Arielle’s body. But when he closed his eyes, he saw a woman dressed in white with shiny white hair descending from the sky smiling at him.

The woman slowly transford into Arielle.

"Amadea," Arielle called.

Ronan blinked and found Arielle holding his face, which was still covered by the mask.

"Who did you call?" asked Ronan when he thought Arielle called a na he had never heard.

"Your Majesty?" Arielle answered doubtfully because she did not understand the aning of Ronan’s question just now.

"No, I thought you called by another na."

"? Do you have another na?" Arielle asked back. Ronan furrowed his brows, feeling confused by the situation just now.

"No," answered Ronan slowly, who was still very sure that Arielle called him by the na Amadea.

Amadea...

Amadea...

wasn’t that the na of a god that was recorded in his great-grandfather’s book? Then who was the woman who had white hair like Arielle?

Was Ronan just daydreaming about what he saw? The king felt strange about his own body. He then loosened his arms from Arielle’s body and rested his hands on the girl’s hips.

"You’re daydreaming? You look weird this afternoon. Do you need a break, Your Majesty?" asked Arielle worriedly. "Sorry for my impudence, may I take off your mask, please?"

Arielle pulled the cloth string behind the king’s head and placed the black mask on the table. Arielle raised her hand to check Ronan’s condition by placing the back of her hand on the man’s forehead. The man’s body temperature was normal, not warm.

Ronan remained still, letting Arielle touch his forehead, cheeks, and neck to make sure he was okay. He was still wondering about the na Amadea. He might have been daydreaming. It was impossible for Arielle to call him by soone else’s na.

Ah, Ronan just realized sothing....

"Arielle, you never call by my na, don’t you?"

"Sorry?"

"My na. You don’t really call my na."

Arielle withdrew her hand and looked at the man in front of her with a confused look.

What now? She asked herself.

"Hm? Say my na," said the man, slightly urging Arielle to say his na.

Ronan imdiately pulled Arielle’s body back to return to its original position as the girl stepped back. "Your Majesty?"

Ronan shook his head solemnly with a smile.

"My na is not Your Majesty, sweetheart," the man whispered.
