How nice it is to be drunk. When you’re drunk, you don’t feel the pain, you don’t have to go to work, don’t have to worry about daily life, or guess other people’s thoughts, or read their expressions.

Su Jiuyi murmured softly, a smile on her face, like a madman, arousing a naless sense of pity.

As she continued to smile, the light in front of her was suddenly obscured by a large hand with distinct knuckles, and a darkness enveloped her. The eyes that had been burning under the light felt as if they had found redemption.

Shi Aoju stood beside Su Jiuyi, one hand shielding her eyes, the other wrapped around her slender waist, supporting her entire weight.

It was then that he realized her fra was light, swaying gently like silk in the wind.

Su Jiuyi was still unaware of what had happened, only feeling that the light she had been chasing had all disappeared, plunging the world back into darkness.

A crisp fragrance wafted around her, mixed with the scent of tobacco, giving a comforting sense of ease. Even in the darkness, it was unusually reassuring.

She smacked her lips, leaning against Shi Aoju’s body like a child, turning to wrap her arms around his waist, burying her face in his embrace.

Shi Aoju looked at her with a cold expression, feeling a faint anger. If he hadn’t followed her just now, would she be in another man’s arms coquettishly right now?

Which man here isn’t out gallivanting? If she showed this appearance in soone else’s hands, she would have been taken advantage of long ago.

The head in his arms suddenly beca restless, shaking and rubbing against his neck, her breath making him feel a surge of heat.

He let out a light sigh, pressing down on the restless little head with his big hand, and took out his phone to call Song Zhike.

"Have soone bring hangover soup to my room soon." He instructed simply.

Zhao Shuya was in front of Song Zhike, extravagantly praising her daughter. Song Zhike was extrely bored but couldn’t show it too obviously, so he just went along with it.

Fortunately, Shi Aoju’s tily phone call ca like a lifeline, rescuing him from this miserable situation.

"You’re drunk? No way!" Song Zhike asked with a puzzled face. In his mind, Shi Aoju could hold his liquor well; he’s never seen him so drunk that he needed hangover soup.

"Bring it within five minutes." Shi Aoju, naturally sparing with words, was even less inclined to explain at this mont and simply hung up the phone.

Su Jiuyi struggled to sit up, breaking free from his embrace. She squinted her eyes to examine the person in front of her, unable to determine his identity, only feeling as if he had three heads—magically so.

"How do you have three heads?" she giggled, her eyes curving into charming crescents.

Shi Aoju frowned, simply scooping her up horizontally and walked straight out of the restroom, heading towards the elevator.

Su Jiuyi just felt her legs leave the ground, her already floating body now seed to be flying, unable to find her center. Scared, she quickly grabbed Shi Aoju’s neck tightly, her two long legs swaying incessantly in an attempt to struggle.

To onlookers, the two seed like a pair of lovers in the throes of romance.

Walking into Shi Aoju’s regular suite, he nonchalantly tossed the person in his arms onto the bed. Sure enough, there was already a bowl of hangover soup on the table, still steaming.

Shi Aoju placed Su Jiuyi on the bed, looking down at her. He frowned deeply, contemplating calling a hotel staff from outside, but as he was about to turn around, he noticed that this woman was actually crying.
