Qin Jin had been waiting for a full twenty minutes, but the text ssages he sent were like stones thrown into the ocean, without a single reply.
His slightly furrowed brows now tightened even more, forming a deep frown.

After calling the waiter to settle the bill, he stood up and walked out of the coffee shop. Once in the car, he didn’t care if the fork in the road ahead had a red or green light, he floored the gas pedal, and the car zood away.
"Damn it..."
"Has he gone mad!"
"Lunatic! If you’re going to die, don’t drag others down with you!"
The drivers in the adjacent lanes were infuriated by Qin Jin’s sudden speeding.
They knew that if they had strayed slightly from their lanes, they might have collided with that car.
At such a high speed, a collision would likely be fatal or cause serious injury.

After hanging up the phone, Ye Zi looked down at her clothes.

With that thought, she turned and walked outside.
Walking down the long corridor with her head slightly lowered, she lifted her eyes just in ti to see the white sports car parked outside the door.
The car window was halfway down, and the man inside leaned on it, smoking. Perhaps feeling bored, every ti he took a puff, he would tilt his head back and blow out a smoke ring.
The smoke rings twirled in the air, then dispersed by the wind, disappearing soon after.
The sky was a bit dim, but that sharply defined face was still dazzling and eye-catching.
Ye Zi shifted her gaze away from him, bit her lower lip, and slowly headed towards the door.
Qin Jin finished smoking a cigarette and glanced inside, seeing a certain little woman walking slowly with her head down, he couldn’t help frowning.
