Ye Zi walked over to Shen Cheng and had just said, "Beauty, you look really good today" when Qin Jin leaned in, whispering ambiguously in her ear, "You look good today too."

Seeing their intimate gestures, Shen Cheng couldn’t help but curl her lips into a smile.

"You guys continue."

After saying that, she walked past them and headed sowhere else.

Not far away, Shi Yu was holding a glass of red wine, tasting it nonchalantly, and she slightly frowned.

For so reason, just seeing him made her face inexplicably heat up.

Observing the surroundings and looking at the lavish party setting, she squinted her eyes.

Walking slowly towards Shi Yu, she asked, "Who organized this party?"

Shi Yu coldly responded, "I don’t know."

Shen Cheng was taken aback, thinking he was still angry about her earlier desire to drink alcohol.

She had no choice but to strategically admit her fault obediently, "I won’t drink anymore."

Shi Yu haughtily glanced at her, quite pleased, but still answered truthfully; "Not sure."

Shen Cheng lowered her voice, "To co here and still not know who hosted the party..."

Looking at the delicate face of the woman in front of him, Shi Yu’s gaze was deep and dark, slowly moving closer to her.

Shen Cheng thought he was going to misbehave again and quickly moved slightly away.

But Shi Yu just whispered into her cheek with his lips, "Rember, don’t touch alcohol again, or else..."

He purposefully didn’t finish his sentence, leaving it to the imagination.

At this point, Shen Cheng’s face flushed hotly, and she glared at him annoyed.

Shi Yu seed to be in a high spirit, even revealing a charmingly deadly smile.

At that mont, a middle-aged man in his forties approached them with a woman.

The man raised his glass, "I organized this party to welco Mr. Shi, I never expected you would actually honor us with your presence. Mr. Shi’s presence is truly much appreciated."

He reached out his hand to shake hands with Shi Yu.

With a cold glance, Shi Yu held a wine glass in one hand and embraced Shen Cheng with the other, clearly not intending to free his hand for a handshake.

The man was a significant figure and didn’t feel embarrassed at all; he just retracted his hand with a laugh, "Mr. Shi is soone who easily forgets; you mustn’t rember . I am Xie Zhenyong!"

Xie Zhenyong’s na had been highly publicized recently, and Shen Cheng had heard it a couple of tis, rumored to be making dirty money under the guise of charity.

He appeared to be a great philanthropist on the surface but was actually deceitful and cunning.

His appearance wasn’t unattractive, but the look in his eyes made people uncomfortable.

Shi Yu still remained silent, and Shen Cheng looked up to see that he had not properly looked at Xie Zhenyong at all.

With a complinting smile that skillfully hid the underlying flattery, Xie Zhenyong said, "I don’t know if you rember the cooperation I ntioned to Mr. Shi last ti..."

Shi Yu picked up his wine glass with an elegant posture and took a sip, expressionless, "Not interested."

So that’s how it was, Shen Cheng curled her lips, realizing why there was a woman frequently giving them flirtatious glances throughout the party if Xie Zhenyong was the host.

This must have been arranged by Xie Zhenyong.

After Xie Zhenyong left, the woman who had been lingering around Shi Yu finally halted her steps, approached with a glass, and said softly, "I’ve heard much about Mr. Shi’s reputation, and today is the first ti I see you, may I have the honor of offering you a drink."

This woman was very beautiful, though her makeup was a bit heavy.

But with such a delicate tone, it would be hard for anyone to refuse.
