"Do you feel there’s sothing about that doesn’t seem right?"
The man suddenly put his phone away and approached Su Jiuyi. Because they were so close, Su Jiuyi caught a faint scent of tobacco on him, along with a cool, subtle mint fragrance.
This was a scent that Ao Jue didn’t have.
Su Jiuyi instinctively stepped back to put so distance between them, then said, "Except for the face, nothing else resembles him."
The man laughed, "Is that so?"
At that mont, Su Jiuyi suddenly recalled certain things. If this man wasn’t Ao Jue, yet looked so similar to him, then his true identity was most likely...
"You are Young Master Tian Jue," she said.
She had heard the maids talk about Shi Tianjue more than once, and Ao Jue had ntioned him once too. Although she hadn’t paid much attention to it at the ti, she still associated the na with him.
"You know ?" Shi Tianjue took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, pulled one out and lit it. He held the cigarette in his mouth, puffing out clouds of smoke from the corner of his lips.
The swirling smoke wafted upward, quickly rging with the air and disappearing.
Su Jiuyi shook her head, "I don’t know you."
Her words amused Shi Tianjue, "Then how do you know my na?"
Hearing his response, Su Jiuyi realized he was tacitly acknowledging his identity. At the sa ti, she felt relieved that she hadn’t mistaken him for that man earlier, avoiding an awkward situation.
"I heard Young Master Jue ntion it."
"Oh, really?" Shi Tianjue took a drag of his cigarette, leaned back and blew a smoke ring, chuckling, "But I am also Young Master Jue. As a maid of the Shi Family, how will you address in the future?"
"I’ll call you Young Master Tian Jue." Su Jiuyi did not realize that she was completely calm in front of Shi Tianjue, a stark contrast to the nervousness, unease, and awkwardness she felt around Ao Jue.
"No." Shi Tianjue gave a mischievous grin, like a rogue, "I want you to call Young Master Jue too."
Su Jiuyi was montarily stunned by his words, her mind went blank and she lost the ability to think, "I, well..."
"Call Young Master Jue," he repeated.
"No, no, no," Su Jiuyi shook her head, feeling that calling him Young Master Jue equated him with Ao Jue, and sohow, that didn’t seem right.
Seeing her like this, Shi Tianjue laughed. Under the refracted sunlight, his perfectly chiseled features appeared even more defined, every inch of his face seed ticulously sculpted, without a hint of flaw.
Su Jiuyi was montarily dazed; the resemblance was uncanny. If he didn’t smile or speak, he could easily pass as another Ao Jue, and anyone else might be unable to tell them apart.
Shi Tianjue stubbed out his cigarette, moved a step closer to her, and teasingly asked, "Little maid, what’s your na?"
Su Jiuyi instinctively stepped back and answered, "Su Jiuyi."
"Su Jiuyi," Shi Tianjue repeated her na with a mischievous smile, "Not bad, nice na."
"Thank you for the complint, Young Master Tian Jue," Su Jiuyi replied politely.
"I told you to call Young Master Jue," he insisted.
"I..." Su Jiuyi barely got the word out before soone suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her aside. As she steadied herself, she looked up to find the newcor was Ao Jue, his expression indifferent, exuding a chilling aura.
