Both Liyah and Maijune looked at him baffled.
Maijune put down her coffee and said 'fuck!! Say what? You want to protect her?'
'Yes, so I got so shares for you under your na'.
'Why? Is she going to be in danger?' Maijune asked.
'Aaron, this, is it really necessary? I an, my grandma and Rowena will not do anything to in the midst of people, right?' Liyah said questionably.
'Yes, they won't do anything. But, it doesn't stop them from trying to do sothing. Maijune, I trust you will be able to handle anything that happens without my presence. Also, I have arranged for soone else to be there on my behalf. Right now, your grandma might have known you are getting help from , but, I also have a plan of my own. I won't appear there because of so personal reasons. That's why Maijune will go with you. With her around, you won't feel intimidated by your grandma and cousin'.
'Wait, is this the sa cousin who had investigated?' Maijune asked.
'Yes'. Liyah answered.
'This works out well. I really wanted to see her face'. Maijune said. She really wanted to see the face of the woman who dare to take her Aaron away.
'That is okay, but Maijune, keep a low profile'. Aaron warned.
'I am not one to keep a low profile, but, I will try my best'. Maijune looked at him daringly.
'Thank you. Now, you two should get ready, I have arranged for soone to take care of your outfit and makeup. He will be here soon'.

'I told you to stop calling him so affectionately. He is my Aaron. Only I and my sisters get to call him that way'.
Liyah looked at her and shook her head saying 'so possessive. Aaron is in trouble'.

Rowena walked into the hall and signalled the four bodyguards to leave the room and they did.
She sat across her grandma saying 'grandma, I just got news that Liyah spent the night at Aaron's villa. That bitch really doesn't know when to stop'.
'Shut up. Why did you have to be so rushed and spill our plans to her in the first place? If you hadn't gone to visit her that night, she wouldn't have known anything. You just have a cheap mouth'. The old lady scolded her.
'I didn't know she would figure it out right away. But, grandma, we still have our trump card, isn't it? We have the shareholders backing us now. Kicking Liyah out of Fashion Lyah is easy now. That being said, I was thinking of changing the na to Myers Fashion, what do you think, grandma?'
The old lady ignored Rowena's rambling. She was in deep thoughts. Even though she had assurance from the shareholders, so part of her was still insecure. She had watched Liyah grow and she knows how crafty Liyah could be.
If Liyah really joined hands with Aaron Saint, then, it ant that the fight wasn't going to be an easy one. That being said, if things didn't go well today, she would have no options than to use her trump card.

With a sinister smile, the old lady picked her phone from the table and made a call. Rowena watched the old lady and smirked. She always knew the old lady wouldn't have just one plan. She had so many backups in case one fell through.

The old lady hung up and stood up picking her bag. She looked at Rowena and said 'let's go'.
Rowena understood and quickly stood up and took her purse and they walked out of the penthouse of the Saint Hotel.

The reception of Fashion was unusually packed today due to the major decision that would be taken on later. The workers were anxious when the news about the shareholders eting was announced. The rumour of a possible new Chairman ca as a shock to them because they really loved their current chairwoman and CEO.
Liyah Myers their CEO was strict with work but she was a lovable character to them. She scolded them but wasn't greedy with praises too.
Liyah Myers was never biased with them. Those that worked hard were always rewarded and through her direction, they had secured a lot of major private and governntal projects hence they were thrown off when they heard of the announcent.
It seed not all was well with their CEO's family and things were about to get ssier. As the workers watched the major shareholders arrive one after another in their luxurious cars with their bodyguards, they couldn't help but be afraid.
Will their CEO who was just a woman be able to stand against all these n? They had thoughts like that.
So, when they saw their CEO Liyah Myers walk in with a young girl dressed in a black suit with a short hair looking so handso, they marvelled.
Their CEO was dazzling as ever with her beautiful appearance. In fact, it was like they were seeing her for the first ti. Her vibes and aura was totally different from what they were used to.
Liyah and Maijune walked towards the reception and noticed the eyes on them. Liyah walked to her workers standing by the reception counter and spoke with Maijune by herself.
'Hello everyone. How are you all doing?'
One of the senior managers couldn't help but asked 'Miss, what is really going on? We heard that a new chairman will be chosen today?'
'Yes, we are having a shareholders eting today because of that. But, you don't have to worry about that. I will make sure nothing goes wrong. You shouldn't worry about this and go back to your work'. Liyah told them.
'CEO, you look so beautiful today. We are behind you'. One of the workers chipped in.
'Thank you, everyone'.
A young man arrived at that mont in a Porsche car looking so handso and beautiful. His appearance left the staff at the reception gasping at his beauty.
Leo Martins ignored the looks and walked straight to Liyah and Maijune and asked.
'Where is the eting taking place, please?' Liyah and Maijune cocked their eyes and looked at each other before Liyah answered politely.
'That way, please. We are also going there'.
'Then, can I trouble you to send there, since I haven't been here before?'
'Sure, let's go'. Liyah turned to her workers and smiled at them before holding Maijune's hand and they walked away with Leo Martins following beside them.
Maijune looked at their intertwined hands and chuckled.
