75 Prepare for Surgery
After hearing that Zhang Li Xue was on her way to the hospital due to pain in her stomach, Qi Zheng quickly contacted a related departnt in the hospital.
Qi Zheng was already waiting for the girl at the entrance. The mont Zhang Li Xue showed up, the girl was quickly taken to the Ergency Departnt where she was getting her check-up.
“Li Xue had frequently skipped her lunch recently,” Zhang Yu Han spoke with a worried look on his face. He watched as his little girl was wheeled into the room and frowned. “We think it might be a gastric problem.”
Qi Zheng patted his friend on the shoulder. “If it’s just a gastric problem, then it shouldn’t be anything dangerous. But we will take precautions. Yu Han, the doctor will give her a thorough check-up and make sure that Li Xue is alright. Don’t worry. Li Xue will be fine.”
If it was only pain due to skipping her al, then, it shouldn’t be too dangerous. What Qi Zheng was worried about was that there was another complication. A stomach ache could an anything. As he recalled watching Zhang Li Xue’s pale face, Qi Zheng could not help but worry.
His brow furrowed.
Zhang Li Xue was the girl that Qi Zheng had watched growing up. Just like Zhang Yu Han, Qi Zheng too was worried about the little girl.
If sothing happened to her, everyone would not be able to sit still.
Qi Zheng continued to help Zhang Yu Han to calm down while suppressing his anxiety as well.

At the side, Zhang Yi Hai was watching the door to the Ergency Departnt with a deep look on his face. A few doctors and nurses co and go. Each of them was busy with their ergency cases. Zhang Yi Hai was anxious, but he could only wait patiently and let the doctor do their job.
Zhang Li Xue was the only sister he had and he did not want anything to happen to her.
Zhang Yi Hai secretly swore to himself that he would accompany his sister to lunch for as long as he was working part-ti at the hotel. If she forgets to eat, then he would be around to remind her. He would annoy her until she would listen to him. Perhaps he would ask the triplets to help him as well.
After staring at the room for a while, Zhan Yu Hai turned to his father and spoke, “Dad, it would be a while before the doctor co out with the result. Why don’t you sit down first?”
Qi Zheng nodded. “That’s right. Yu Han, have a seat first.”
Zhang Yu Han was too worried that he would not be able to sit still. However, Qi Zheng had pulled him over to the chair and he had no other choice but to sit down.
“Dad,” Zhang Yi Hai hesitated. “Should we call mom and tell her what happened?”
“Let’s wait until the doctor had co out with the diagnosis first,” Zhang Yu Han decided. “I don’t want your mom to worry.”
After waiting for a mont that felt like forever, the doctor who went in with Zhang Li Xue finally ca out.
Zhang Yi Hai was the first to notice it when the doctor ca out. He stood up and saw that the doctor’s expression was not looking quite good.
His heartbeat increased as he waited for the doctor to deliver the bad news.
“Doctor Qi,” the young doctor walked over. “It’s appendicitis. The patient should be preparing for surgery soon.”
Zhang Yu Han could not hide his surprise. He had thought that it was just a gastric problem and the pain would be gone after eating so dicine.
But surgery?
Zhang Yu Han turned to his friend. “Qi Zheng.”
“Let’s not panic.” Qi Zheng helped the man to calm down. “I’m here. I’ll go and contact the departnt first.”
It was only then that Zhang Yu Han seed to rember that his friend was also a surgeon.
Zhang Yu Han watched as Qi Zheng took out his phone and started to speak to a few people. “Yu Han, you go ahead and wait for at my office. I will update you with Li Xue’s condition later.”
Qi Zheng rushed over to his departnt to get ready for the operation.
When he arrived, he ran into Bai Qi and the young man quickly followed after him.
Bai Qi had heard that his ntor had arranged surgery for an appendicitis patient. However, he was a little dumbfounded upon hearing that his ntor wanted to do the surgery personally.
“Doctor Qi, you’re going to personally do this surgery?”
“It can’t be helped.” Qi Zheng heaved a sigh as he changed his clothes to get ready. “Other than , the girl’s father would not trust anyone else.”
Bai Qi quickly figured out the situation. “The patient is soone you know?”
“Mmm...” Qi Zheng nodded. He checked his attire for one last ti before turning to Bai Qi again. “It’s my niece that you have t before. Li Xue. The first ti you ca to my house, you had a basketball match with her and my children.”
“Zhang Li Xue?”
“So, you rember her. Yes. That’s the one.” Qi Zheng turned around and headed to the operational theatre.
anwhile, Bai Qi stood still on the spot for a long ti Once he finally snapped out of his trance, Bai Qi went to the operating theatre and requested the patient’s record. Seeing the na written on the paper made his heartbeat accelerate, but not for a good reason.
His little fairy was having surgery?
Bai Qi sped over to the operating theatre to watch the girl. He stood behind the glass wall and watched as his ntor and the others were preparing for the surgery.
He could not help but worry that there would be so complications from her condition.
Then, he saw her face.
It has been a long ti since the last ti he saw Zhang Li Xue.
Bai Qi would not expect that the next ti he saw her, the girl would be laying in the operational theatre.
His brow furrowed as the surgery began.
