74 Pain
As sumr vacation began, the hotel received a large number of guests.
As her Zhang Yi Hai and the triplets were on their vacation, the four of them volunteered to work part-ti at the hotel. The kids their age were busy planning their gateway with their friends, but the four of them were stuck in the hotel doing so nial jobs.
Zhang Li Xue looked at her brother who was dressed in the hotel uniform as he stood behind the receptionist counter and smiled.
Seeing that there was no one else around, Zhang Li Xue walked over and rapped her knuckles on the table. “Yi Hai, you looked very handso in this uniform.”
Zhang Yu Hai stared at his sister with his face void of expression. He raised the walkie-talkie in his hand and pretended to call the security. “There’s a strange woman causing trouble at the lobby. Security, please co over and drive her out.”
The manager happened to be around to look at the record when he overheard the siblings’ conversation. “You two siblings really know how to play around.”
Zhang Li Xue stood up straight. “Manager Ning, good morning.”
The middle-aged man waved his hand. “Stop calling Manager. Just call Uncle Ning like you used to do.” The manager had worked at the hotel for years and had watched as the siblings grew up.
“Manager, it was still working hour. Of course, I will have to address you as Manager Ning,” Zhang Li Xue spoke.

The man heaved a sigh. “Li Xue, which departnt are you working for this ti?”
“I’m still with the Human Resource Departnt,” Zhang Li Xue said. “There are a lot of things for to learn there.”
The manager sent her a few words of encouragent before walking away.
Zhang Li Xue turned to her brother again and asked, “Where did the triplets assign to?”
“Da Bao is with the coffee house. Er Bao and Xiao Bao are with the housekeeping departnt,” Zhang Yi Hai said. “Sister, aren’t you in the Human Resource Departnt? Why don’t you know about this?”
Zhang Li Xue waved her hand. “I’m not in charge of your placent. I think it was Younger Aunt who handled this matter. Do you want to have lunch together? Let’s call the triplets too.”
“Forget it,” Zhang Yi Hai heaved a sigh. “Do you think that our lunch break is the sa as yours?”
“That’s true.” Zhang Li Xue nodded. Sensing that a guest was walking over, Zhang Li Xue quickly leave her brother and went to check on the triplets.
Da Bao was resting after the busy breakfast hour, while the two others were busy making up rooms after the guest had left. Seeing that everyone was busy with their work, Zhang Li Xue returned to the small office and start to work.
It was expected that she would be busy next week as they have to start managing the payrolls.
Thinking about it, Zhang Li Xue decided to finish the task that the HR manager had sent her so that she could focus on her next job.
Once Zhang Li Xue had started to look at the docunts, everything around her seed to have disappeared.
Her father would often say that she was a little workaholic just like her mother. When she focused on her job, she could forget about everything.
As she did not have any lunch plan with her brother and the triplets, Zhang Li Xue continued to work and forgot that it was ti to eat.
A few of her colleagues stopped by and asked her to lunch. However, Zhang Li Xue continued to tell them that she would be downstairs and et the in the staff cafeteria after finishing a task.
In the end, her colleagues returned, but Zhang Li Xue remained seated behind her desk.
The girl continued to ignore the rumbling of her stomach for a long ti.
When Zhang Li Xue began to look up from her computer, she began to notice that there was sothing wrong with her body.
Her stomach was in too much pain that she felt a little dizzy. Cold sweats began to form on her forehead and her face turned pale. A low groan escaped her.
The colleague who sat next to her finally realized that sothing was wrong with Zhang Li Xue. Seeing her situation, the colleague quickly notify the manager and the manager quickly notified their President.
Zhang Li Xue sat on her chair and drank a little bit of water, hoping that this would help her to alleviate the pain.
A while later, her father appeared at the door with an anxious look on his face.
“Daddy.” Zhang Li Xue had the urge to cry when she saw her father show up.
“What happened?” Zhang Yu Han walked over to his child worriedly. “Where is it painful?”
Zhang Li Xue pointed at her stomach.
The HR Manager seed to have rembered sothing and had ntioned Zhang Li Xue skipping lunch.
Hearing the manager’s words, Zhang Yu Han’s expression turned uglier. He had often reminded this girl to eat on ti, but she was too careless.
However, this was not the right ti to reprimand the girl. Zhang Yu Han looked at his daughter and asked, “Can you walk?”
Zhang Li Xue tried to stand up and inhaled a sharp breath as the pain was too much.
Just as she had wanted to give up, soone had already carried her. Zhang Li Xue looked up in surprise and finally saw that it was her brother.
“Yi Hai, why are you here?” Zhang Li Xue asked. Her voice sounded weak as compared to her cheery tone in the morning.
Zhang Yi Hai was done with his shift and ca over to find his sister when he heard the commotion. Hearing that his sister was in pain, he quickly ran over to her. Fortunately, he managed to catch her before she fall.
“It’s good that you are here,” Zhang Yu Han patted his son’s shoulder. “Your sister is having a bad stomach ache. I think it might be a gastric problem. Let’s bring her to the hospital.”
Zhang Yi Hai’s expression turned uglier when he heard his father’s words. It was not hard to guess that this girl was skipping her lunch again.
