673 Celebrate Their Brief Freedom
For the next few days, the student of Y City High School was busy with their tests.
Bai Xi Xi answered every question calmly just like she has been doing each ti she did her exercise. anwhile, Fu Chen was struggling a little bit as he did not have the proper ti to do his revision these past few days.
His Aunt’s condition had not improved much and the kids were restless as they were missing their mother. His mother might have hired soone to look after the house. But in the end, the kids were still having a hard ti getting used to the aunty.
In the end, it was still Fu Chen who had to coax the kids.
Yesterday, the baby was crying the whole night as he was missing his mother. Because of this, Fu Chen did not have the ti to study and he was sleep deprived.
He did not know whether he would be able to answer the test well.

Lin Xiao Tong walked over to Bai Xi Xi and batted her eyelashes. “Xi Xi, what do you have planned for your weekend? Should we go out and hang out?”
Bai Xi Xi flashed a teasing smile. “Are you sure? You’re not going out with your boyfriend?”
A tinge of pink appeared on Lin Xiao Tong’s cheek. “Xi Xi, you made it sound like I always spent my ti with my boyfriend.”
Even if that was the truth, Lin Xiao Tong was not going to admit it.
“It has been a while since we spend our ti together,” Lin Xiao Tong said. “Let’s go out and have fun. Hmm... How about accompanying to shop?”
Bai Xi Xi was not a big fan of shopping. Anyway, she thought that she had too many clothes and accessories in her wardrobe. Her family mbers, especially her sister-in-law loved to buy her new clothes. This habit had not changed even though Bai Xi Xi was now a teenager.
However, Bai Xi Xi rembered that her sister-in-law seed to like it each ti that she go out to hang out with Lin Xiao Tong and everyone else.
Bai Xi Xi knew that her sister-in-law has always been worried about her.
Once upon a ti, Bai Xi Xi was soone who liked to be alone.
When she was in kindergarten, Bai Xi Xi was bullied. Later, even though she had changed schools, Bai Xi Xi was still afraid of making friends.
She was not close to anyone in her class for a long ti.
Lin Xiao Tong was the first friend that she made after a long ti. The girl was very small but had a lot of courage. Even though Bai Xi Xi often had a cold look on her face, Lin Xiao Tong was never afraid of her.
With her persistence and sunny attitude, Lin Xiao Tong managed to stay by Bai Xi Xi’s side. Later, a few other girls beca closer to her as well.
Zhang Li Xue rembered that Lin Xiao Tong was the first friend Bai Xi Xi made after a long ti. Because of that, Zhang Li Xue liked the petite girl quite a lot.
Bai Xi Xi could see that her sister-in-law would be very happy each ti she go out with Lin Xiao Tong. Her sister-in-law did not forget to give her so money and let her buy anything she liked.
“Xi Xi...” Lin Xiao Tong shook Bai Xi Xi’s arm while staring at her with pleading eyes. “Let’s go out, alright? You Lin and Yao Yao said that they would be joining us as well.”
Bai Xi Xi heaved a helpless sigh. She stretched her hand to pat Lin Xiao Tong’s head. “Alright. I will go with you.”
Her answer made Lin Xiao Tong so happy that she started to hug Bai Xi Xi tightly.
After exchanging a few more words, Lin Xiao Tong finally left. Her boyfriend should be waiting for her and Lin Xiao Tong did not want to let her boyfriend wait for too long.
Bai Xi Xi heaved a sigh and smiled. She turned to look at her tablemate and realized that Fu Chen was no longer there. He should have tidied up his desk and left while she was busy talking to Lin Xiao Tong.
After the last ti, they had so ice cream together, the two of them did not talk again unless it was for school matters.
Seeing that Fu Chen did not seem to need her help, Bai Xi Xi did not want to force him.
Suddenly, Bai Xi Xi recalled the look on Fu Chen’s face when he was answering the test earlier. The boy would nod his head a few tis, seemingly he was about to fall asleep.
Looking at the black circle under Fu Chen’s eyes made her wonder if Fu Chen was studying very hard.
After tidying up her desk, Bai Xi Xi made a quick stop at the teacher’s office to send a few docunts. She did not stay too long and quickly left after exchanging a few words with her horoom teacher.
As she was walking down the stairs, Bai Xi Xi heard the sound of the ball hitting the floor and decided to walk around the basketball court to take a look around. Even though the boys’ skills were not that good, Bai Xi Xi would often visit to watch them train.
Bai Xi Xi was about to turn to a corner when her eyes caught the sight of a familiar bag. Her brow rose when she heard a few voices. It took her a while to figure out that she recognized those voices. One of them belonged to Jian Chi and the other belonged to Fu Chen.
