627 Ninety-Nine Roses
Zhang Yi Hai did not answer her question very quickly. Instead, he turned his head slightly to look at one of the servers who was standing not too far away from him.
Suddenly, the light around them dimd.
Fang Su Jin looked around anxiously, wondering what was going on. Because the lights in the restaurant were dimd, the city light from a distance away looked a little brighter. Fang Su Jin was fascinated by this view for a few seconds. Then, noticing that soone was walking over to their table, Fang Su Jin looked up.
Her eyes widened in surprise upon finding that a waiter was standing beside them with a large bouquet of red roses in his hand.
Fang Su Jin did not have to guess to know that there should be around ninety-nine roses in the waiter’s hand. Fang Su Jin stared at the roses with a dazed expression, wondering what was going on. She wondered if the waiter had arrived at the wrong table.
However, when Fang Su Jin looked around again, she realized that there were no guests around their nearby table.
“Miss Fang Su Jin?” The waiter spoke.
“Yes?” Fang Su Jin stared back at the waiter inquiringly.
“These flowers are for you. Please accept them.” The waiter pushed the bouquet to her.

Fang Su Jin was still a little dazed. Without asking anything about the flower, she held the bouquet and stared at it for a long ti.
The flowers were very pretty and the sll was very fragrant.
But wait, who sent them to her?
Before Fang Su Jin could figure out the answer, soft music was heard, coming from a violin.
Dimd light, music, and a bouquet of fiery red roses. Everything around her gave off romantic feelings.
Fang Su Jin shifted her gaze briefly and saw that a man was playing the violin from a distance. Her gaze t with the musicians and the person walked over to her table.
Her heart was racing.
Fang Su Jin turned to Zhang Yi Hai, wanting to discuss with him what was going on.
However, she soon realized that the man was no longer in his seat.
Fang Su Jin looked around anxiously and finally found him beside her. But why was he kneeling down on one knee?
A thought ca to her mind and it was making her slightly dizzy.
“Su Jin,” Zhang Yi Hai spoke before Fang Su Jin could say a word.
“Yes?”
The young man put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a box. He opened the box slowly, revealing a sparkling diamond ring. “Su Jin, please, marry .”
Her eyes opened slightly while Fang Su Jin stared at Zhang Yi Hai with a stunned expression. She thought of the red roses in her arms and the romantic atmosphere around them. There was also Zhang Yi Hai’s hot and strange gaze.
Fang Su Jin continued to stare at the man without giving him her answer.
At this ti, she was too shocked by his proposal that Fang Su Jin did not know how to react. She first needed to calm down and process everything.
“I know that we haven’t been with each other for a long ti,” Zhang Yi Hai spoke. “But I can assure you that this proposal was sothing that I have been thinking about properly. Su Jin, the mont I approached you, marriage has always been my goal.”
Fang Su Jin had watched a lot of proposal scenes in the drama she had followed, but, this was the first ti that soone had proposed to her. Of course, she did not know how she should react.
She had thought that a proposal scene in the drama was romantic, but she had never thought that it could be this heart-throbbing.
It made her excited and restless at the sa ti. She wanted to smile and cry at the sa ti. It turned her mind into a ss.
“We did not get together for a long ti, but I can assure you that this is sothing that I wanted to do. Su Jin...” Zhang Yi Hai paused to stare at his beloved. Then, a shaky smile curled on his lips. “I love you. And I want to grow old with you.”
Fang Su Jin felt as if soone had shot her straight in the heart. Who would have thought that a simple ‘I love you’ could make her feel this way?
“The only request I have for doing well in my exam is this.” Zhang Yi Hai spoke. “I hoped that you will make the happiest man on earth and agree to this request. And in return, I promise to make you the happiest for as long you are with .” He inhaled a deep breath and continued. “Fang Su Jin, will you marry ?”
Fang Su Jin stared at the man, who was still kneeling on one knee.
He seed to be smiling, but Fang Su Jin could sense that Zhang Yi Hai was very anxious at this ti. Then, her gaze shifted to the diamond ring resting in the jewelry box. The diamond was winking at her as if to tell her that she should accept his proposal.
Fang Su Jin wondered just when did Zhang Yi Hai had prepared all this.
The waiter was playing romantic music in the background. But at this ti, Zhang Yi Hai could not hear anything. He continued to stare at his girlfriend, waiting for her answer.
The silence between them felt as if it was going to be forever. The longer that Fang Su Jin remained quiet, the more anxious his heart turned to be.
Zhang Yi Hai was mostly afraid that Fang Su Jin would not agree to this request.
After a mont that seed like forever, Fang Su Jin finally nodded. She stretched her hand to Zhang Yi Hai and spoke her answer, “Yes. I will.”
A smile blood on Zhang Yi Hai’s lips.
Fang Su Jin thought that his smile at this ti was even more beautiful than the flowers in her hand.
Then, Zhang Yi Hai took out the ring from the box and slid it onto Fang Su Jin’s finger.
The waiters who were around to help with this proposal ca out to congratulate the couple. Then, one of them took out a cake to celebrate this joyous occasion.
