456 Is Mine Special?
After speaking with her mother, Zhang Li Xue left the house to visit Bai Qi at the hospital.
The driver sent her off to the entrance before the auntie helped her out and pushed her to Bai Qi’s departnt. On her lap, Zhang Li Xue was carrying a few takeaway bags with her.
The elevator stopped with a ding. Then, the auntie pushed her out.
The mont they ca out, Nurse Tian saw them and greeted them cheerily. “Li Xue, you’re here.”
After becoming a frequent visitor at the hospital, Zhang Li Xue’s relationship with the nurses in the departnt had beco a lot better.
“Nurse Tian, I brought you guys a little sothing.” Zhang Li Xue lifted the takeaway food on her lap and handed it over to the auntie who ca with her.
The nurse’s eyes lit up. “You always co around and bring so food. Coincidentally, we were all a little busy and did not have ti to eat yet.”
“Then, you should eat a little more. Nurse Tian, you can divide the food among others as well.”
Nurse Tian took the takeaway bag and waved her hand to call the other nurses. Then, they started to distribute the food around.

“Doctor Bai should be in the operation theatre. I think he should co out soon if everything goes smoothly,” Nurse Tian said. “You can wait for him in his office as usual.”
Zhang Li Xue nodded. She turned to the auntie and said, ” I’m fine here. You can leave first. I will go ho with Bai Qi later.”
The auntie nodded.
“Auntie, don’t worry. I will look after her,” Nurse Tian spoke.
Hearing that, the auntie was more at ease. After exchanging a few more words with Zhang Li Xue, the auntie finally left.
Nurse Tian walked over to Zhang Li Xue’s side and helped to push her wheelchair into Bai Qi’s office. The two of them chatted for a while before Nurse Tian left for her work.
Once the door was closed, Zhang Li Xue shifted to sit on the bed at the side. After sitting for too long in the wheelchair, her back was a little sore.
Actually, she could always move around with a crutch, but the people around her would treat her as if she was precious porcelain. Even if she tried to move a little bit, her father especially would raise his eyebrow.
While she was waiting for Bai Qi to co back, Zhang Li Xue took out her phone to check her email. Seeing that there was still ti, Zhang Li Xue decided to chat with her friend, Mo Qing Huan.
Mo Qing Huan and He Rong were both shocked to hear that she had gotten a marriage certificate with Bai Qi. The speed of their progress was too fast compared to theirs.
Now that her family began to plan for her wedding, of course, Zhang Li Xue will have to inform her friend earlier so they can co to her wedding later.
Just then, the door was pushed open and the person she had been missing appeared in front of her. Her Doctor Bai was still looking handso.
Looking at the tall man in his white coat made her feel like a silly teenage girl again.
Zhang Li Xue put down her phone and looked at Bai Qi with a bright smile. Whatever conversation she had with Mo Qing Huan was forgotten just like that.
The couple was looking at each other for a few seconds.
Seeing the way Bai Qi was looking at her could make her heartbeat accelerate. Then, Zhang Li Xue watched as Bai Qi shut the door behind him before heading to his wife.
Then, he leaned over and kissed her on the lips.
Zhang Li Xue could sll the usual shower gel fragrance on Bai Qi’s body. It seed that Bai Qi had taken a shower before he ca to et her.
“When did you get here?” Bai Qi asked. Then, he leaned over to kiss his wife again. “Aren’t you supposed to be resting at ho?”
His surgery was long and tiring, but upon seeing his little fairy smiling brightly at him, the tiredness had all disappeared.
“I arrived so ti ago.” Zhang Li Xue pulled away and looked him in the eyes. “I miss you, so I co to see you.”
Her words made him happier. Bai Qi could not help but want to hold his wife in his arms. However, when he recalled her leg injury again, Bai Qi began to hesitate.
“Are you hungry? I bought you so food.”
Bai Qi laughed. “Just now, Nurse Tian was telling that the noodles you brought for them are delicious.”
“Do you want to eat noodles as well?” Zhang Li Xue stared at Bai Qi and hesitated. “But I brought sothing else for you.”
Bai Qi raised a brow. “Oh? Is mine special?”
Zhang Li Xue nodded with a serious look on her face. “Un. Of course, it’s special. I made them myself.”
As for the al that she brought for the nurses and the other staff, they were all sothing that she had bought from the restaurant around their house.
His al was personally prepared by his wife. Why wouldn’t Bai Qi be happy about it? Besides, he always knew that Zhang Li Xue’s cooking was good. Bai Xi Xi liked h cooking very much too.
Bai Qi watched as his wife took out a lunch box from the bag and placed it on his table. Then, she removed the lid to serve the food on the table.
His gaze fell on the chicken wings that Zhang Li Xue had prepared for him. These were the chicken wings that she had learned from her late great-grandfather.
According to the family, Zhang Li Xue could make them taste almost the sa as the late Zhang Jing.
“They slled good,” Bai Qi praised.
The two of them sit down together and Zhang Li Xue watched as Bai Qi ate his al while she told him about her conversation with Mo Qing Huan earlier.
“Are you going to work the night shift today?” Zhang Li Xue asked.
“No.” Bai Qi’s movent halted. “I won’t be on duty tomorrow as well.” The corner of his lips tilted up. “Then, how about if we head back to the apartnt tonight?”
Zhang Li Xue smiled until her eyes turned crescent.
