406 Red, Fiery Roses
The first thing that Zhang Yi Hai noticed was Fang Su Jin’s closeness to this man. In Zhang Yi Hai’s opinion, the two of them were standing too close together.
It has been a month since the last ti he saw Fang Su Jin again. She was looking very pretty, and the smile on her face was very bright. However, the man’s appearance beside her made him unhappy.
He thought that they both looked good-looking as they stood together.
Zhang Yi Hai could not help but wonder about their relationship.
A few thoughts ca to his mind, but Zhang Yi Hai forced himself to stay calm.
Before Fang Su Jin clarified their relationship, he should not quickly judge them and caused a misunderstanding. He realized that if he judged too quickly, the person who will suffer would be him.
Zhang Yi Hai gave that man a lookover before he shifted his gaze to Fang Su Jin. Their gazes t and Zhang Yi Hai finally walked over in her direction. “Sister Fang, hello.”
Her heartbeat accelerated.
Fang Su Jin realized that it has been a while since the last ti she heard him call her.

A while ago, she was in a bad mood upon realizing that Zhang Yi Hai might not co to her exhibition. But now that she saw him standing in front of her, Fang Su Jin felt as if a field of flowers were blooming.
It was a feeling that she could not describe well.
“Su Jin, this is...”
Fang Su Jin turned to her cousin again and spoke, “Brother Yu Ting, this is uh... a friend.” She realized that she did not know how she should introduce Zhang Yi Hai to her cousin.
Hearing her words, Fang Yu Ting turned with a bright smile on his face.
However, Zhang Yi Hai quickly realized that the man’s smile did not reach his eyes. Zhang Yi Hai stayed calm even when he noticed how the man was silently giving him a lookover. He saw the hostility in the man’s eyes.
“Hello.” Fang Yu Ting stretched his hand for a handshake. “I’m Fang Yu Ting. Su Jin’s brother.”
Zhang Yi Hai glanced at Fang Su Jin as he wondered about the sudden appearance of Fang Su Jin’s brother. He could not rember if he had t this brother before or if his sister had ever ntioned this man to him.
He shook hands with Fang Yu Ting and spoke, “Hello. I’m-”
“Brother Yu Ting,” Fang Su Jin interjected before Zhang Yi Hai got the chance to introduce himself. “You rember my friend, Zhang Li Xue, right? This is her little brother.”
There was a slight change in Fang Yu Ting’s gaze. He gave Zhang Yi Hai another lookover, but this ti, there was less hostility in his gaze.
“I rember her.” Fang Yu Ting smiled. “So, this is her little brother?”
“Uh-huh.” Fang Su Jin nodded. “This is her little brother, Zhang Yi Hai.” She looked at Zhang Yi Hai and blinked a few tis, hoping that the young man would not say anything unnecessary in front of her brother. “Zhang Yi Hai, did your sister send you here?”
A faint smile turned up on his lips as he noticed Fang Su Jin’s anxious look. “Un.”
Fang Su Jin heaved a breath of relief when the young man played along with her. She could not imagine just how would Fang Yu Ting reacted if Zhang Yi Hai started to speak so nonsense.
She was not ready for this.
Fang Su Jin would never expect she would be eting Zhang Yi Hai while she was with her cousin.
“When did you arrive?” Fang Su Jin asked.
“I arrived a while ago,” Zhang Yi Hai spoke. “I saw that you were interviewed by so reporters and decided to wait until you are free.”
Fang Su Jin recalled that the reporters had co to interview her a few hours ago. Then, does that an that Zhang Yi Hai has been around for a few hours? Why didn’t she notice him?
Suddenly, Fang Su Jin felt as if her body had turned hot. She pushed a few strands of hair behind her ears shyly. “You should have said sothing.”
Zhang Yi hai smiled. “It’s alright. I can walk around on my own and look at the paintings.” Suddenly, Zhang Yi Hai walked over to the bench and picked up two bouquets that he had left earlier. He walked to Fang Su Jin again and spoke, “Sister Fang, these are for you. Congratulations on another successful exhibition.”
The scent of fresh flowers filled her nose. Fang Su Jin took the bouquets from Zhang Yi Hai and froze for a few seconds.
Just now, their hands were touching.
She quickly took a few steps back with the bouquets in her hands. Fang Su Jin looked at the flowers again. One of them was a bouquet of pink daisies and another was a bouquet of red, fiery roses. “Why... why did you buy so many? It would be enough to buy just one.”
“One of them is from my sister and another one was from ,” Zhang Yi Hai said. He t Fang Su Jin’s eyes and stared at her with a penetrating look.
Moreover, his sister wanted to give her flowers to congratulate her on this exhibition. anwhile, the reason he gave her flowers was different.
Fang Su Jin lowered her gaze again.
The tip of her nose accidentally touched the rose petals. “Thank you.”
anwhile, Fang Yu Ting was still watching their interaction from the side.
Knowing that Zhang Yi Hai was a family of Fang Su Jin’s friend made him lower his guard. Because of that, he failed to notice the strange atmosphere between the two of them.
“Su Jin, your exhibition will end in a while, right?” Fang Yu Ting spoke.
Fang Su Jin looked at her cousin again. “Uh-huh.”
“Since it’s ending soon, why don’t I take you out for dinner to celebrate your successful exhibition?” Fang Yu Ting asked.
Zhang Yi Hai lowered his gaze. He had already planned to ask Fang Su Jin for dinner and talked about what they should talk about. However, soone else had already invited her out for dinner.
“This...” Fang Su Jin hesitated.
“You’re... Zhang Yi Hai, right?” Fang Yu Ting spoke again. “Since you are here, why don’t we go together? It will be my treat.”
