163 Is It a Date?
On the weekend, Zhang Li Xue woke up earlier to accompany her father for a quick basketball match. The family of three had their breakfast together before she head back to her room to get ready.
She had made an appointnt to go out with Bai Qi and was busy choosing her outfit.
After a while, Zhang Li Xue finally narrowed down her choices. Just as she was thinking of which one would look on her best, her phone chid.
Seeing the na on the caller ID, Zhang Li Xue quickly picked up the phone.
“Li Xue, what are you up to?” Fang Su Jin spoke as the call got through. “Do you want to accompany to an art exhibition? That’s right. I still rember that you owe a trip.”
Zhang Li Xue chuckled. She had almost forgotten about the promise she made with Fang Su Jin the other day. In exchange for Fang Su Jin’s help, Zhang Li Xue agreed to accompany her to a vegetarian restaurant once and attend an art exhibition with her.
“I can’t,” Zhang Li Xue said. “I already had another appointnt today.”
Fang Su Jin clicked her tongue in displease. “Are you sure that you are not just saying that to avoid accompanying ?”
“Su Jin, am I that sort of person?” There was a helpless tone in her voice. “I really can’t accompany you today. I made an early appointnt with soone.”

“Fine. I guess... I’ll believe you this ti.” Fang Su Jin let out a breath, feeling a little disappointed. It seed that she could only find another victim.
But, sothing in her friend’s words caught her attention. “Li Xue, who are you going out with?”
If she rember it right, Zhang Yi Hai’s vacation had ended and he should be busy with his study.
“It’s Bai Qi.”
Fang Su Jin was a little surprised to hear that her friend would be going out with that young doctor.
Since the last ti he saw Bai Qi at Zhang’s residence, Fang Su Jin had not heard any news about that man. She wondered just how much have they progressed.
“Is it a date?” Fang Su Jin teased.
Zhang Li Xue laughed. “Stop thinking too much. Bai Qi only wanted to treat to a al to thank for my help.”
“Hoo...” Fang Su Jin did not bother to ask about this help. She had a feeling that Bai Qi co up with an excuse to ask a certain soone out. However, she decided not to say anything to her friend.
“How about tomorrow?” Zhang Li Xue asked.
“Fine. Let’s go out tomorrow.”
The two friends made their plan to go out before they ended their call.
Zhang Li Xue gave another look at the outfit on her bed before deciding to wear the pink shirt and pants. After getting ready, Zhang Li Xue headed out.
Fortunately, without her brother around the house, Zhang Li Xue no longer has to sneak around.
Initially, Zhang Li Xue planned to pick up Bai Qi at his apartnt. However, Bai Qi thought that it would be better if they et at another place instead.
He told her that it would be convenient and ti-saving. While in fact, Bai Qi was worried that the mont his sister saw her Pretty Sister, she would want to tag along.
If Bai Xi Xi tagged along, his little fairy’s attention would definitely be on his little sister. Then, he would only beco their guard or sothing.
It was not easy for him to gather his courage and ask his little fairy out without using his sister as an excuse. Bai Qi thought that he wanted to spend so ti just with Zhang Li Xue.
Bai Qi looked made his research on the internet and found a good restaurant that served Zhang Li Xue’s favorite food. The mont he arrived at their eting point, Bai Qi was surprised to see that there were a lot of people around the place as well.
After looking around, he finally found out about an event that was held at a park nearby.
At the thought that it would be difficult for Zhang Li Xue to find a parking spot, Bai Qi decided to call her and suggested changing their eting place.
The call was connected in a few seconds and Zhang Li Xue’s voice was heard on the other line. “Bai Qi? Have you arrived?”
“Un. I just wanted to ask if-”
“Hold on,” Zhang Li Xue spoke again before he could finish. “I found a parking spot and I’m on my way to you. I should be there in a couple of minutes.”
His expression grew softer. “Un. Just take your ti then.”
The call ended and Bai Qi began to crane his neck to look for his little fairy. There were too many people around and he was worried that they might miss each other.
Suddenly, Bai Qi felt a tap on his shoulder.
He turned around and found that Zhang Li Xue was standing in front of him with a bright smile on her face.
“Are you surprised?” Zhang Li Xue laughed.
Although she was dressed in a simple shirt and pants, Bai Qi thought that the person in front of him looked very beautiful.
He was unable to take his eyes off her.
“Have you waited for too long?” Zhang Li Xue asked. She looked around and noticed that the crowd began to build around them. “I didn’t think that there would be a lot of people around here. Do you think that there’s sothing happening today?”
“Mmm... I heard that there’s an event at a nearby park.”
Her eyes lit up. “What sort of event?”
“I’m not sure. But I heard that there will be a lot of stalls and gas.”
“Then, do you want to check it out later?” Zhang Li Xue suggested. “It should be fun to just look around.”
“Alright.” Bai Qi did not have the heart to reject her suggestion. As long as he could get an excuse to spend more ti with his little fairy, he would do anything.
