136 Another Guest
Li Qin Yao was checking on the porridge for her two children when the auntie ca over again and announced that there was another guest at their door.
She put down the ladle and turned off the fire with a sigh before coming out of the kitchen.
Both her children fell sick at the sa ti and she was busy looking after them. However, it seed that there were a lot of people coming over to their house today.
“Auntie, who is it?” Li Qin Yao asked as she walked over to the living room.
“I’m not sure. It’s a tall, handso man. He said he was looking after the miss.”
“Li Xue?”
Because of her husband and her son, the number of n who could appear beside Zhang Li Xue was limited. Therefore, Li Qin Yao was intrigued to know who was this man and why was he looking after her daughter.
As she walked into the living room, a familiar silhouette appeared before her.
Li Qin Yao took ti to examine this young man before she finally rember who he was. “Mu Zhen Yu?”

Her eyes lit up. Among those boys who tried to get close to her daughter, Mu Zhen Yu was the only one who managed to stay despite her husband and her son’s cold treatnt.
Because she was a friend of Mu Zhen Yu’s mother, Li Qin Yao liked this boy quite a bit.
“Auntie Li.” Mu Zhen Yu flashed a smile as he greeted her politely. “Hello. How are you doing?”
“I’m doing quite well.” Li Qin Yao continued to seize the man in front of her. “It has been a while since Auntie saw you. Last ti, it was at your welcoming banquet.”
“Sorry that I haven’t had ti to co over and visit. I’ve been quite busy with work recently. There was a lot to do after I returned from G Country.”
Li Qin Yao nodded. The two of them exchanged a few polite words before Li Qin Yao spoke again, “You’re here to look for Li Xue?” It was then that she recalled that her daughter had told her about the accident. “That’s right. I heard that you helped her yesterday. I still have to thank you for helping her.”
“Auntie, you don’t have to thank . Li Xue and I are friends. This is what I should do,” Mu Zhen Yu said. “That’s right. I ca to give her sothing. I went to look for her at the hotel just now. They said she did not co to work today.”
Li Qin Yao heaved a sigh as she thought of her daughter. “Mmm... she did not go to work today. Li Xue caught a cold after the rain yesterday.”
“She caught a cold?” Mu Zhen Yu could not hide his surprise.
Yesterday, he sent her to the door before he went back to fetch his assistant and helped to deal with her car. Mu Zhen Yu did not think that the girl would still catch a cold.
Was the ginger tea he bought for her yesterday ineffective?
“Auntie, how is she?”
Li Qin Yao smiled upon noticing his concern. “She’s alright. Her temperature had gone down a lot after eating her dicine and resting.
Mu Zhen Yu finally felt more at ease. “Auntie, can I visit her?”
“Of course.” Li Qin Yao nodded.
Doctor Bai Qi and Fang Su Jin had only left a few minutes ago. When she ca out of the TV room, the siblings were both awake.
Li Qin Yao led the boy to the TV room. Once she saw that the siblings were descent, she finally let Mu Zhen Yu in.
Zhang Li Xue was watching the television with her brother when she noticed that soone was standing at the door.
Her eyes widened when she saw the figure behind her mother. “Brother Zhen Yu?”
Zhang Yi Hai put on his guard when he heard that na. There was a look of irritation in his eyes. However, with his mother around, Zhang Yi Hai knew that he have to be on his best behavior.
“How did you catch a cold?” Mu Zhen Yu asked as he walked in. He stretched his hand, wanting to put it on her forehead to test her temperature. However, Mu Zhen Yu quickly realized that soone was staring at him with a penetrating look.
Mu Zhen Yu turned and saw that Zhang Yi Hai was looking at him.
Now that he had grown up, the young boy no longer hide his hostility towards him.
Mu Zhen Yu let out a helpless sigh as he retracted his hand. He put on an amiable smile on his face and greeted, “Yi Hai, you’re here too.”
“The two of them fell sick at the sa ti,” Li Qin Yao explained. “The rain was too heavy yesterday.”
“Brother Zhen Yu, why are you here?” Zhang Li Xue was suddenly concerned about how she would look in front of him.
She was pretty sure that her hair would resemble a bird’s nest at this ti.
Subconsciously, Zhang Li Xue began to pull at her blanket and hide half of her face.
She was too shy to let Mu Zhen Yu see her like this. It was then that she rember that Bai Qi had also visited her a while ago. Thinking that she had let him see her ssy state made her embarrassed.
“I ca over to send you the report from yesterday,” Mu Zhen Yu said. He took out a stack of paper from his knapsack and handed it over to her. “That woman who ramd into your car yesterday has been fined with a summon ticket. My assistant will help you to deal with the insurance company. It was expected that you will get your car back after a week.”
“That long?”
“Mmm... There is so paperwork for them to deal with.”
Zhang Li Xue could only accept that she was going to be without her car for a week.
“That’s right. The auto shop will call you later to ask you so questions. Rember to be alert with your phone.”
“Oh.” Zhang Li Xue nodded. She took the docunts from him and examined them slowly.
Mu Zhen Yu was about to speak to Zhang Li Xue again when he saw that Zhang Yi Hai had pulled his blanket to cover his head.
His eyes dimd. However, knowing that the siblings were sick, Mu Zhen Yu decided not to stay for too long to let the siblings rest.
He turned and spoke, “Auntie Li, I have to go now.”
“That fast?” Li Qin Yao could not hide her surprise. It seed that the guest to their house today would only stay for a few minutes!
“Mmm... I still have to head back to work,” Mu Zhen Yu said.
Hearing his reason, Li Qin Yao knew that she could not force the boy to stay. She led the boy out, leaving the siblings in the room.
“Zhang Yi Hai,” Zhang Li Xue called after a long silence in the room.
“What?”
“You really did not like Brother Zhen Yu, do you?”
Zhang Yi Hai continued to hide under his blanket. “Sister, you’re imagining things. I don’t have any special feelings towards him”
