"I want you to divorce ," she looked at him, "from now on we’ll go our separate ways, alright?"
"Don’t even think about it!" Brandan imdiately rejected her words, "Since you’ve provoked , unless I say it’s over, don’t even dream of leaving!"
"..."
Iris Harris was silent for a mont, then smiled nonchalantly, her tone still cold, but for so reason, with a hint of disappointnt, "You’re exactly the sa... Brandan Hyde, just remain selfish and indifferent like this forever." This person was not her Brandan, her Brandan was not like this.
Let these ten years be a mistake of recognizing the wrong person.
"Get out."
Iris had no mood to talk to him any further, she turned her back, "Get lost."
Her malicious tone was infuriating, Brandan tightened his fingers, wanting to lecture her, but in the end, he could only sheepishly be chased out. The door slamd shut in front of his nose with a "bang!", almost hitting him.
Iris Harris... Iris Harris dared to treat him like this!
Brandan was furious, glaring at the bedroom door, wishing he could stare a hole through it.
Lady Hyde heard the commotion, ca up to see, and saw her son glaring ferociously at Iris Harris’s room door. She was startled, quickly ran over and grabbed Brandan.
"Mom, what are you doing!"
"I should be asking you what you’re doing!" Lady Hyde glared at him, "If you dare to trouble Iris again, watch punish you!"
Brandan was furious: "Clearly, she’s the one bullying , alright!"
"How could Iris possibly bully you?" Lady Hyde glared at him, "In the middle of the night, acting crazy at her doorway, what are you doing!" Lady Hyde dragged him by the arm into the bedroom, "Go to sleep early, stop being crazy!"
With that said, she walked away.
"..........."
Brandan looked at his mother’s departing back, fuming, one after another ganging up on him, are they rebelling?!
Obviously, it’s she who wants to divorce him, disregarding his wishes and kicking him out, obviously, she’s the one throwing a tantrum! His mom actually said he was bullying her! Is there any justice!
Brandan was extrely frustrated, puffing on a cigarette fiercely, recalling Iris sobbing about the child being gone, his heart ached a bit.
No matter, he thought, there will be children in the future. If she really likes children, he could make her pregnant again now... but it seems she wouldn’t let him touch her right now.
Brandan sat on the bed smoking, his mind gradually cald. This kidnapping case had far too many doubts; just how Iris escaped was a huge question.
But for so reason, Iris never would tell him.
He stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray, thinking he had to investigate.
No matter what, those kidnappers, he must find them.
Daring to bully his woman...
Brandan thought silently, his dark eyes harboring a cold, sinister light.
***************************
Lately, Iris Harris seed to be ignoring him.
Even when he went to find her a few tis, she would always pull out the divorce papers, asking him to sign.
In the end, it always ended with a big argunt, parting on bad terms.
