We were on our way to the classroom when Nami stopped near the water cooler.
"I'm thirsty, you go... I'll co,"
She said pointing towards the classroom.
"Hmmm okay," saying this I went inside the classroom.
As soon as I entered the classroom I felt sothing strange.
As usual there was no noise here today.
The rays of the setting sun were filtering in through the window.
I went straight to my seat and picked up my book which I had forgotten from the wooden table.
I kept looking at that book for a while.
It's such a small thing –
But for that I had to co to this empty classroom.
I was thinking this when I realized –
I am not alone.
The sound of soone's slow breathing
felt in my ears like a song.
I don't know why my heart beats started getting faster after listening to it.
I turned around and looked around the classroom.
And then I saw him...
A boy,
Who was sleeping peacefully on his seat.
He was sleeping hiding his face in his arms,
Only a little bit of his face was visible.
His hair looked scattered and tangled due to sleep.
I went a little closer and saw,
He was a boy from our class.
But what was he doing here at this ti?
I started getting confused.
Curious to know this,
I slowly started walking towards him.
As I was going closer to him,
The sound of his breathing beca more clear –
He was sleeping very peacefully,
As if he was seeing a very sweet dream.
I hesitated a little –
Should I wake him up?
I extended my hand to wake him up,
and just with a slight touch
he suddenly got up in a hurry.
He looked at rubbing his eyes.
"Oh... sorry, I didn't an to wake you up, it was just..."
I said and took a step back.
"But what are you doing here at this ti?
It's evening and the function got over long ago...
Don't you want to go ho?"
He was probably still half asleep.
Stretching a little,
"Oh...What ti is it?"
His gaze shifted to his wrist as he checked his watch, while I simply stood there,...
"Its 5 pm already "
