"Great, we finally caught him," Potoby Flick tried to appear cheerful, "Have we found the cash and property lost by our bank?"

"We've found so of it, but only a portion. The rest is in the hands of other accomplices. The police have issued a warrant, and I believe they will be arrested and brought to justice soon," Luke said, his face showing no sign of deception.

This wasn't just a matter of experience; the key was that he spoke openly and confidently.

"Captain Luke, I can't thank you enough.

The robbery yesterday has caused our bank to face huge losses. Recovering the stolen property is of great significance to our bank."

Luke asked, "You should have insurance, right? Even if there's a robbery, the insurance company will compensate."

Potoby Flick sighed, "Insurance companies are shrewd. There's always a cap on compensation. Take the custor's safety deposit boxes, for instance; each one has a compensation limit of fifty thousand US dollars.

Even if a safety deposit box contained the crown of the King of England, they would only compensate fifty thousand US dollars. Any other losses have to be borne by the custor."

Thinking of his own gold coins, Luke pressed on, "Is the compensation limit the sa for every bank?"

Potoby Flick clarified, "Not necessarily, that's just the case for most.

There are also a few banks where the compensation amount for safety deposit boxes is higher, but the rent will also be more expensive."

The value of the gold coins that Luke found while treasure hunting was certainly worth more than fifty thousand US dollars. If he wanted to deposit them in a bank's safety deposit box, he'd need to find one with a higher compensation amount; that would make him feel much more secure.

With a shift in his thoughts, Luke inquired about the case again, "Does your bank's insurance have a cap in case of robbery?"

"Yes, but it's not the sa policy as the one for custor safety deposit boxes."

"So how much compensation can your bank get from the insurance company for this robbery?"

"It's hard to say, it depends on how much cash your police departnt can recover. The insurance company will cover the shortfall in losses."

"Is there a limit to the compensation?"

"Yes."

"How much?"

"Uhh..." Potoby Flick frowned, "I can't rember clearly."

Luke, sensing a lie, chuckled, "Your bank was robbed yesterday, and you haven't checked the terms of compensation with the insurance company? You're being a bit irresponsible as a manager."

"You're right, I will make sure to get a clear understanding when I go back."

"Which insurance company is your bank insured with? You should rember that, at least."

"Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation."

Luke found the phone number for the insurance company on his smartphone and dialed it directly.

Shortly after, a woman's voice with a curry accent rang out, "Hello, this is custor service at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, how may I help you?"

"I am Captain Luke Lee from the Robbery and Murder Departnt, Squad One of the Los Angeles Police Departnt, currently investigating the North Hollywood Bank robbery.

This bank is insured with your company, and I would like to inquire about so details."

"Sir, can you verify your identity?"

"How should I do that?"

"Sorry, I've never dealt with a situation like this."

"Miss, please transfer the call to the manager of your Los Angeles division."

"Captain Luke, I haven't encountered this before; it might take a while."

"No problem."

Luke had two purposes for asking to speak to the insurance division's manager, the first was to pressure Potoby Flick.

As for the other reason, it was just incidental, and he might gain so indirect unexpected findings.

After a few minutes, a man's voice ca through the phone, "Hello, I am Sebrolo Zeman, the general manager of the Los Angeles division of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation."

Luke said, "I am Captain Luke Lee from the Robbery and Murder Departnt's Squad One."

"Hello, Captain Lee, what can I do for you?"

"Does your insurance company provide insurance services to North Hollywood Bank?"

"Yes."

"I'm taking a statent from the manager of North Hollywood Bank, and we were discussing the insurance coverage limits of your company. Potoby Flick said he couldn't rember clearly, so I'd like to consult with you."

"That's correct, I've also been following this matter. I checked the related insurance policy yesterday. If the bank is not at fault, the insurance limit for a custor's safety deposit box is fifty thousand US dollars, and the bank's own loss limit is twelve million US dollars," Sebrolo Zeman seed to recite the numbers effortlessly.

"Thank you, this data will provide so basis for our investigation."

"You're welco, Captain Luke, may I ask if the police have caught the suspect?"

"Sorry, I cannot disclose that at the mont."

"So, the cash loss for North Hollywood Bank is twelve million seven hundred thousand US dollars?"

"We are in the process of verification, and we'll inform your insurance company when the investigation concludes."

"Thank you."

Luke hung up the phone and asked, "Is the compensation limit given by the insurance company correct?"

After thinking for a mont, Potoby Flick replied, "It seems... right."

"Then your bank's losses aren't that great. You were robbed of twelve million seven hundred thousand US dollars, and the insurance company compensates twelve million. By that account, you're only losing seven hundred thousand.

Once we retrieve the stolen money from the robbers, you might not even lose a penny. Congratulations."

Potoby Flick said with a forced smile, "I hope so."

"However, I still have one small question," Luke abruptly shifted the topic, "According to the suspect Jerrang Kazafei's statents, they did rob the bank's vault, but there wasn't that much cash in it.
