The Luke family.
Without a case weighing on him, Luke woke up later than usual.
After getting out of bed, he brewed a cup of coffee and took it to the yard, basking in the gentle sunlight.
Nothing happened last night, there was no activity outside, but his heart was still sowhat unsettled, he didn't rest well, and even felt a bit unenergetic this morning.
There's a breakfast shop near the community that makes particularly good fried pancakes. Luke planned to have two pancakes and a bowl of tofu pudding, knowing it wouldn't be appropriate to co back here for breakfast after moving to a new ho.

Suddenly, a noisy sound appeared in the sky, followed swiftly by a strong wind. Luke looked up and saw a helicopter slowly descending, landing on the road in front of his yard gate.
The surrounding neighbors were also disturbed by the helicopter noise, coming out of their houses to see the commotion.
A helicopter landing in the community was a rare spectacle for them.

A man wearing an FBI uniform jumped out of the helicopter and ran into Luke's yard, "Advisor Lee, I'm FBI Senior Anti-Terror Agent Armand Hains."
Luke greeted him with a smile, "Buddy, you ca at the right ti. I just brewed a pot of coffee, want a cup?"
Armand Hains shouted, "Sir, I could really use a cup of coffee, but right now ti is tight, the helicopter is waiting for us."
Luke couldn't figure out their purpose, "What are you here for?"
"We just received notice that a terrorist attack took place at Steven Community College, approximately 30 or more teachers and students have been killed."
Luke frowned slightly, "The community college where Jordan Reddy works, was he also a target of the attack?"
Armand Hains shook his head, "The identity of the deceased is still uncertain."
Luke downed the coffee in his cup in one go, "Previously, the Los Angeles Police Departnt was involved in investigating terrorist attack cases, and secretly protected Jordan Reddy. There were arrangents at Steven Community College too.
Didn't the FBI and Departnt of Holand Security make any arrangents?"
Armand Hains said, "We know Jordan Reddy had enmity with terrorist Tapani Reagan who orchestrated the bombing attack, but Tapani Reagan is already dead.
Logically, the remaining terrorists shouldn't need to retaliate against Jordan Reddy."
Armand Hains continued, "According to the clues we have, this attack is different from the previous bombing attack. This ti, the terrorists used biochemical weapons.
Biochemical weapons are suitable for use in enclosed, densely populated environnts, making Jordan Reddy's community college a very suitable attack site.
So the reason the terrorists attacked Steven Community College shouldn't be because of Jordan Reddy."
Luke said, "I understand your point, but it doesn't an that others will understand. In other people's view, regardless of the reason, the terrorists indeed attacked the community college where Jordan Reddy is."
Armand Hains sighed, "Deputy Director Lynn Brouss is waiting for you at the Steven Community College site to examine the scene of the terrorist attack with you. We could talk on the helicopter."
"The Los Angeles Police Departnt only announced yesterday that they're no longer investigating terrorist attack cases. On what grounds, and under what identity am I going to examine the scene of a terrorist attack now?"
Armand Hains said, "You are the FBI's criminal investigation advisor."
"You are right, but that doesn't an I have to accept Deputy Director Lynn Brouss's dispatch. I have the right to refuse." Luke was not unwilling to help solve the terrorist attack case, but before participating, a clear explanation was needed.
Luke is indeed an FBI criminal investigation advisor, but strictly speaking, he is the criminal investigation advisor for the FBI New York office, and this position doesn't co with a salary, just case subsidies and rewards.
He cooperates and mutually benefits with the FBI Los Angeles office using this identity, but it doesn't an he will provide unconditional support unilaterally.

Armand Hains said, "Deputy Director Lynn Brouss stated that upon eting, she would give you a satisfactory answer. She originally wanted to co personally, but ti didn't allow. If she doesn't go to the site, the Departnt of Holand Security will take the lead."
Luke glanced at Armand Hains and told him that he couldn't make decisions. To finalize collaboration terms, Luke would have to discuss them with Lynn Brouss personally.
He looked at his watch, "Give five minutes."
Luke returned ho, changed clothes, and, under the shocked, envious, and puzzled gazes of his many neighbors, boarded the helicopter.
The helicopter took off and flew directly to Steven Community College.
At this ti, the entire Steven Community College was already under lockdown.
Periters were set up with lines of caution, and patrol officers helped maintain order.
