Two monstrously powerful beings were fighting in a forest filled with darkness.

CLANG!

SWOOSH!

SLASH!

They continued to clash relentlessly, both parties determined to take the life of his adversary no matter the cost. One had deep dark blue skin and seed to embody the elent of darkness itself, while the other was human, much shorter in height compared to the dark figure.

The dark figure was fast and nimble, his every movent was precise and deadly like the most deadly predator of the jungle. A thin but enchanting cloth was the body of this being while exposing his full arms from the shoulder.

Darkness is embraced wherever it goes.

Each strike of his had absolute power and precision behind it because every single strike would sohow affect his enemy badly, one way or another, there was not a single wasted energy, just the residual energies of his physical attacks were powerful enough to demolish one large tree after another, which spoke volu of his true physical and combat prowess, coupled with his emotionless look which could send shivers to anyone who may look at them.

As for the one he was fighting, who also wore a similar indifferent and cold gaze, he was fighting in a less refined and ruthless manner, often disregarding his defense and safety. Compared to being embraced by the darkness, he had many injuries and cuts on his body from which blood was flowing out. It dyed his black clothes in red, making him look no less dangerous than his enemy in his own way.

The two beings were Valtar and the Dark Elven tribe leader Hansel.

RIIING!

CRACK!

BANG!

As their swords clashed again for the umpteenth ti, it was clear who had the upper hand in the fight from the beginning till right this mont. It had not been more than 10 minutes since their clash started, but one side remained unmoved like a mountain, his expression unchanged, his body undamaged, even a slight expression of exhaustion could not be seen on Hansel's face.

As the fight progressed from the beginning, Valtar's indifferent expression slowly started to crack. Even though it seed like they were matched closely from the beginning, it could not be more wrong, he realized, this damn dark nace in front of him never gave it his all from the very start of the fight itself.

Valtar was starting to get desperate, if the difference between them was so great despite both being Pathwalkers, how could he not get agitated?

With such a big difference, even if he used his hidden cards, he would still get killed.

In fact, by this ti, Hansel himself was getting annoyed with this cockroach.

He did not think it would take more than a few minutes to take care of this trash human if he did not try his best.

From the mont Hansel t with this human, his emotions were flaring up from ti to ti.

Valtar also noticed this abnormal state of his enemy from ti to ti but did not understand the reason behind it.

Valtar's entire body scread in pain, his body battered with bruises and cuts, and the clothes he wore from the second stage elves were almost gone from his upper body.

Not wanting to delay the plan he had anymore, he tore off the clothes from his upper body. His masculine and extrely well-defined upper body was laid open for any fatal attacks. He looked straight into the dark eyes of the Tribe leader and charged straight at him, his sword ready to take the life of his enemy.

For the uncountable number of tis their swords t again and this ti Hansel was truly serious, he left an opening on purpose on him which was graciously used by Valtar as he punched at the stomach area of his enemy with bare hand.

Hansel used that exact opportunity to punch fiercely at the hand joint of the human, the hand that was holding his sword to be precise.

Crack...

Hansel also threw away his sword. It was ti for a good hand-to-hand brawl.

Valtar's hands were now injured badly, and while he could indeed fight through the pain and keep the hands working that does not an they would function to their fullest extent.

Valtar silently commanded the system for sothing, the system loyally obeyed silently as well.

Regardless, their fight must go on, Valtar made an uppercut punch intending to get the jaws of his enemy.

But his enemy was even more ferocious at hand-to-hand combat. He simply leaned down and avoided the punch. He swung his feet in a circular motion intending to break or injure Valtar's leg this ti.

Valtar was able to bend his leg upward and avoid the kick. Unfortunately for him, what he did not expect was that the Tribe leader was aiming for the other leg all along.

Crack.....Thump.......Arghhhhhhhh

At this mont every single limb of his was injured badly except for one leg, the mont his leg was hit with a kick he tried to break the fall using his hands, and he forgot for a mont that both of his hands were injured as well, resulting in his pained grunt.

He tried to get up, but his body wouldn't obey him for a mont.

Right after, Hansel grabbed his foot which was not injured, and pulled him with such force that his entire body was pulled above the elven leader.

Valtar gritted his teeth, knowing what was about to happen.

Hansel then pulled his body down with so much force that...

**BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!**

Another small explosion happened, similar to their first sword clash.

His only foot that was not broken now broke completely.

If this was done to a normal human, let alone being injured, their entire body would have been turned into a bloody at paste.

Just where he was slamd, a 20-ter circular crater had ford. If soone were close enough to the 2 of them, they would have felt a small earthquake happening in a small area from where Valtar was slamd.

Now Valtar's four limbs were broken, and even his backbone probably cracked.

There were so internal injuries as well, causing him to cough up good amounts of blood.

The points where the bones inside of his hands and where his feet were broken are probably causing internal bleeding, making the situation even worse.

The injuries of sword cuts that were outside of his body beca even worse. He was drowning in his blood.

But what was disturbing was not Valtar's truly near-death-like state.

For so reason the cold and emotionless Elf tribe leader whose expression barely changed in the entire ti since he appeared, but right now... the elven tribe for the first ti long had such a hideous and twisted expression on his face that even Valtar himself felt fear despite his miserable state.

The elven tribe leader's pupils had enlarged. His eyes were spewing fire as he wanted to peer into the very soul of Valtar.

Then for the first ti, his killing intent pressed onto Valtar like multiple mountains stacked onto one, Valtar himself felt his blood run cold.

Then the spine-chilling voice of the Tribe leader echoed in the forest, mixed with barely suppressed fury,

"HUMAN, I WILL ASK YOU THIS FOR THE FIRST AND LAST TI."

"AND YOU SHALL ANSWER IT, IN ALL HONESTY."

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" stated The Elven Tribe Leader with absolute authority that left no room for denial.

One could only wonder, for the ever-calm and immovable Elven Tribe leader to show this much fury all of a sudden, just could be the reason behind it. What did Valtar do?
