Emiris growled, he couldn’t let himself be defeated so easily.

While it was true that it was a great disadvantage that that rain could extinguish his flas, he could create them inside himself to protect them.

It was strange, how was it possible that a divine art like his could be extinguished by simple rain?

Was it another type of divine art? Perhaps there was another Vanir nearby?

Emiris didn’t know, but he couldn’t waste ti questioning it either.

Diana accelerated at great speed toward him.

Emiris stood up quickly, while accelerating his cells to be able to move his forearm in ti.

Before Diana’s punch, Emiris decided to move his forearm in a circular gesture outward, to be able to deflect the attack to one side.

At the sa ti, Emiris took advantage of that movent to give her a punch to the side, in the kidney.

In that world food consumption was very different but at the sa ti it didn’t an people didn’t have organs.

Living beings consud spirits stored in food, but to take advantage of those nutrients, a refinent system was needed.

Curiously, that system was very similar to that of humans on Earth, and while the organs didn’t have the sa na, their location, shape and function were very similar.

Emiris struck in the area where the kidneys should be, or at least at that height and location.

However, one would think this attack was useless, after all while it was a strong blow, Diana had armor protecting her.

It was a sacred artifact, a templar’s armor wouldn’t break from a simple punch.

However, that wasn’t a simple punch.

Emiris had concentrated a large amount of green and blue flas inside his hand.

His fist accelerated at an imasurable speed in an instant, releasing a force capable of piercing through that armor.

However, Diana didn’t even flinch at the blow.

It was a brutal punch, however she used her orgone to cushion the area of the blow, making her armor suffer most of the damage.

The girl took advantage of Emiris’s proximity to throw a knee strike to his belly, causing him to double over in pain.

At the sa ti, with her other arm, she brought the mace down against the man’s nape.

Emiris didn’t waste a second, he pushed himself forward forcefully tackling the girl, taking advantage of the inclination he had gained when doubling over in pain earlier.

The mace’s blow missed, but struck his back, though Emiris didn’t pay attention to that.

He had a plan, and his instinct told him he should avoid staying in the sa place.

There was soone ready to attack him from a distance, his instinct told him so.

"Damn pig! Let go," Diana complained angrily.

But it was already too late, he had already trapped her in his arms, and then, he accelerated.

All the cells in his body were accelerated, then, they both shot out at imnse speed.

Their bodies seed to rge into a greenish fire trail.

In an instant they had already crossed the forest and left the hill, going through many trees along the way.

Then their trajectory curved upward, while their speed only increased.

Diana tried to defend herself, hit Emiris, try to stop him, but everything was in vain.

Trying to move a limb against the current at that mont was almost impossible, so she could only let herself be carried.

They both accelerated upward, in a burst of speed.

In an instant they had exceeded the speed of sound several tis.

The air and rain crashed against Diana’s armor with such force that it was beginning to weaken.

Then, they pierced through the clouds, the rain was no longer there now.

Emiris’s flas strengthened.

Finally they could leave his body without being extinguished.

The great mass of blue and green flas enveloped them both, trying to pierce through Diana’s touki.

The woman dropped her mace.

She was in danger, that was certain, so she had to act now or never.

The woman retracted her orgone, concentrating it all in her arm, to strengthen her muscles.

The flas imdiately penetrated inside her, making her cells accelerate chaotically to burn them.

However, Diana decided to endure the pain while gathering all the strength she could to raise her arm.

The pain was unbearable, her entire body was suffering, without strength or air to scream, but she didn’t let it affect her.

Then, while her body burned dangerously, she managed to raise her arm and when she couldn’t raise it any higher, she brought it down.

Diana brought down her arm with all the strength she could muster.

Her fist descended with imnse force against Emiris, the blow was so powerful that his head practically exploded.

All the orgone in her body was released in an imnse golden explosion.

Both bodies separated.

Diana began to fall powerlessly to one side, with her arm completely destroyed, and her body charred.

Luckily when she went through the clouds again, the flas began to go out.

With the rest of consciousness she had left, Diana manipulated nature so it would start creating moss and bushes to cushion her fall.

anwhile, Emiris was expelled to another side, at dizzying speed.

The green and blue flas ca out of his destroyed body trying to heal him.

Even when he went through the clouds, the flas remained persistent inside his body trying to heal him.

If he kept his Devastra, he wouldn’t die.

But then, sothing unimaginable happened.

In the middle of the hill a great scarlet glow beca present.

Suddenly, a projectile was launched from that point at trendous speed, piercing through the air with an intense whistle.

It was Aizel’s spear thrown with Eirian’s bow.

Both brothers had joined forces to end their father’s madness.

Emiris didn’t even have ti to process what was happening when his son’s fiery spear pierced through his heart.

His fall was diverted, his body pushed while the spear began to expel inextinguishable flas.

His only weak point had been hit, the place where his Devastra and Asurastra were.

Then, the spear exploded, releasing a gigantic fire explosion.

In the sky, it was visible how Emiris beca for a few seconds a shining star.

The immortal warrior had been assassinated.
