The mont the boy put his hand on Nora’s shoulder, the latter grabbed his wrist forcefully.

It was a reflex action, like a chanism that activated instantly.

Nora had always been strong for her age. Her orgone was extrely potent.

However, at that instant and in a completely intuitive manner, her orgone increased and expanded beneath her skin, covering her muscular and bone tissues.

This caused the resistance of her muscles and tendons to be extrely high, enough to exert a force of 750 psi with just a gentle squeeze.

The boy’s wrist was protected by orgone, that was true. However, such a colossal force exceeded the force his orgone could resist.

It wasn’t an extre difference. That young man could withstand with so difficulty a force of 600 psi, but the force Nora exerted was exactly what was needed to destroy his wrist.

Before he could react, Nora had already twisted his arm inward, causing the boy’s body to lean forward.

Nora’s hip rotated as she threw a powerful punch to the boy’s jaw. Bones crunched upon contact with her fist. Part of his skull had been pulverized.

The boy went flying, completely unconscious. That wouldn’t kill him, but it would definitely leave him out of combat for a while.

"I see, so you turned out to be villains," Nora said with a serious voice, while a smile drew on her face. "So it’s okay if I give you a beating, right?"

The short boy didn’t respond. While he had been surprised by the girl’s response, this wasn’t his first combat.

He wasn’t going to let that freeze him.

"Anemostrastra! Spherical whirlwind!" the thug shouted, while putting his hands parallel, one above the other, in front of his chest.

A green light erged from the palm of his two hands. On these was a tornado-shaped tattoo. On the upper palm it went to the left and on the lower palm to the right.

The air began to spin fiercely between his hands, generating a sphere of rotating air, which emitted a faint hum.

The thug rotated the palms of his hands, then extended his arms. Upon doing so, the air sphere shot out toward Nora.

The rotating air projectile had been fired from about two and a half ters, extrely fast, at about 450km/h.

That ant Nora had barely 20 milliseconds to react, sothing almost impossible.

In fact, the Vanir had divine blood, but generally their physical qualities were the sa as a human’s.

It was thanks to orgone that they were naturally stronger.

However, like humans, their eyes could only capture 60fps per second. Unless you refined your body using supernatural ans, that was your limit.

For Nora, who was a newly awakened child, it should have been the sa. For her, the sphere would have disappeared and reappeared at her side.

However, her instinct was stronger. Predicting the projectile’s trajectory before it was fired, Nora threw a powerful punch at the air, which ended up hitting the attack.

The air from the sphere dispersed thanks to the force of the fist. However, the rotation of the air generated friction on Nora’s skin, piercing through her orgone and causing chafing on the skin.

Nora clicked her tongue.

She felt her hand’s skin burn, but she ignored it. She had to keep fighting.

Before the boy could continue, Nora flexed her knees, loading impulse to launch herself toward him, but was interrupted.

"Aspidastra!" Ronald exclaid, just before Nora shot out toward the thug.

Upon doing so, purple particles began to manifest around the curly-haired boy.

These particles joined in a single do that ford a semi-oval around him ford by purple octagonal structures.

Unable to stop her impulse, Nora’s fist shot out against the shield, hitting it forcefully.

She could see how the octagons forming the do moved making circular waves from the point of impact. As if it were a fluid that had been disturbed.

The shield had absorbed the impact force of the blow, transferring it throughout the structure.

"Not bad, right?" the boy said with pride.

Unlike his companions, he had more experience with his Devastra. He could manifest certain aspects of it without pronouncing the complete mantra.

There were three types of Devastra.

The guardian-type Devastra was one of the rarest. It was a symbiotic Devastra that manifested as a conscious entity, connected with the user’s desires.

So associate it with elves, who are born with a twin spirit that grows with them.

However, many deny it, since the elves’ spirit is a crystallization of their spirit and their source of Ka.

Instead, users of guardian-type Devastra are the ones who feed that entity.

Then there were artifact-type Devastra. These allow invoking a divine weapon, with the ability to grow and make its user stronger.

By using a mantra with divine weapons, one can enhance and perform techniques, but it’s not strictly necessary for its activation, and over ti, one can master techniques without needing a mantra.

The grimoire-type Devastra, which was the most conventional, allowed its user to develop mantras and techniques to channel the power of their divine bloodline.

It was normally activated by saying the na of the Devastra, which began to consu a certain amount of Ka regardless of whether spells were used or not.

The user could perform several mantras they had learned and then deactivate the Devastra when finished.

However, so were capable of activating them without performing mantras. In Ronald’s case, a descendant of a god of protection, he could invoke shields after activating his Devastra.

But that resulted in an enormous advantage in combat.

"Tch, you have many tricks, I recognize that. But I won’t give up," Nora announced, while moving slightly away from the shield.

Ti ago she would have hit the shield until it broke.

Instead now, she had decided to be calr and more analytical, like Alioth.

"Dianysmastra: rectilinear impulse!" Rat then shouted, who shot out like a blue blur toward Nora.

The girl reacted in ti, crossing her arms receiving the impact of the punch on her forearms.

But the blow hadn’t finished.

"Immaterial rectilinear pulse!" The tattoo on the back of his hand shone an intense blue.

At that mont, Nora felt an invisible force propel her backward with incredible force.

The girl went through the wooden door as if it were cardboard and landed on the ground.

Her arms hurt, and she felt dazed.

She was at a clear disadvantage.

"Ha! She went flying! That’ll surely teach her a lesson," Rat laughed as he left the house. "You better get out of here, girl. You’re still in ti to flee."

The blue-haired boy said while looking at her with a mocking expression.

Nora got up with difficulty while reflecting.

She was facing five people, two whose powers had not yet been revealed.

Anyone would know it was ti to withdraw. It was logical. Soone analytical would realize.

However, she could feel a fla inside her that couldn’t be extinguished.

"Run away?"

They were villains. They had hit Regulus. They had kidnapped Ruth, and probably many more.

"Who’s running?"

They were villains. There were no misunderstandings this ti. It was clear that fighting them was the right thing, it was her duty.

The duty of a hero.

"Running where?"

The promise she made to Idris resonated in her head.

She would be a heroine, even if she had to give up everything else.

"Why would I run!?"

She exclaid forcefully.

Her Ka began to burn forcefully inside her, pumping power throughout her body.

Her eyes turned golden as she looked at Rat with determination.

The boy swallowed hard.

It wasn’t going to be so easy to get rid of her.
